“Shelby was fantastic! She sent me updates of Levi’s stay, along with pictures and videos. I had no worries at all about the care he was receiving. Will use Shelby again.”

“I can’t say enough great things about Candi and the care she took with our two dogs. I’ve never felt so comfortable with “boarding” my dogs while I was gone for a long trip. I knew they were being treated like part of her family. She sent videos and pictures to keep me updated. My big dog ended up having some stomach issues and Candi didn’t skip a beat. We called my vet and she picked up some meds and got her back on track. Her four dogs were great with mine - they had such a blast. Not sure who enjoyed the vacation more, me or the dogs. She also has a beautiful acreage for them to run around and get fresh air. Wish I would have found her earlier! Thank you Candi!”

“We had a wonderful experience leaving our 11-year-old Frenchie for an overnight stay! Homa has a beautiful property that was absolutely perfect for exploring. She was incredibly prompt and helpful while we were figuring out drop-off and pick-up times, and she kept our minds at ease by sending picture updates throughout the stay. Highly recommend!”

“Barbara was wonderful with our four-legged baby! She sent us messages and pictures and kept us up to date on his daily doings. She was very accommodating to his at-home routines, too. We highly recommend Barbara!”

“I boarded my dog Cooper with Katie for two days and nights. Katie was very responsive when I approached her and she sent text and photos of Cooper during his stay with her. She played with him and he looked very happy. She has a great yard for Cooper to play fetch. I would definitely have Katie watch Cooper again.”

I’m CPR certified, experienced with enrichment-based care, and comfortable reinforcing basic training skills such as leash manners, recall, sit/down, place, and calm behavior during visits and walks. I also have experience with hunting and working breeds, so I understand the importance of both physical exercise and mental stimulation. I intentionally keep openings in my schedule for walks, drop-in visits, boarding, and individualized care. I currently have availability most mornings, a few evenings, and select weekends which allows me to provide consistent attention and flexible scheduling for clients. Because I prioritize quality care and reliability, I carefully manage my schedule to make sure each pet receives plenty of time, attention, exercise, and communication while in my care. believe every dog is different, so I focus heavily on each pet’s individual needs, personality, comfort level, and routine. Some dogs need lots of exercise and enrichment, while others need a calmer environment, patience, or extra reassurance while their owners are away. When caring for pets in a client’s home or my own, I take time to learn their feeding schedule, potty routine, energy level, favorite activities, training expectations, and anything that helps them feel comfortable and secure. I adjust my care style based on the individual dog rather than taking a “one size fits all” approach. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, understood, and cared for while maintaining as much consistency and routine as possible.

About: I’ve been caring for pets for years, starting with neighbors and family friends who trusted me with their cats and dogs. I grew up in a home with both cats and dogs, so I’m comfortable with all personalities and energy levels. I also have a Golden Retriever of my own that I’ve raised since he was 8 weeks old, giving me plenty of hands-on experience with training, routines, and puppy needs. Whether your pet is playful, shy, or somewhere in between, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. Pet care fits into my routine pretty naturally. I already spend a lot of time taking care of my own Golden Retriever puppy, feeding him, getting him outside, training, and keeping him entertained, so adding another pet into the mix doesn’t feel like a stretch. I do work full-time, but I’m home most evenings, nights, and weekends, which gives me plenty of time to check in on pets, go for walks, or just hang out with them. I genuinely enjoy being around animals, so working pet care into my schedule never feels like an inconvenience. It’s something I look forward to! When I’m caring for pets in my home, I focus on keeping them comfortable, safe, and included in our normal routine. I have a friendly male Golden Retriever puppy who loves having a buddy around, but I always do slow and careful introductions to make sure everyone feels relaxed. Pets get plenty of attention, playtime, potty breaks, and a cozy place to rest. I follow whatever routines they’re used to so they feel at home. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m respectful of the space and try to keep things exactly how your pet is accustomed to. I stick to your feeding schedule, walk routines, and any house rules you prefer. I give lots of updates and photos so you know your pet is happy. My goal is always the same in any home: make sure your pets feel safe, cared for, and loved while you’re away.

About: I have always been a very passionate animal lover and owner. I have previously owned cats since I was 5 years old. I have trained cats and cared for injuries and recovery, so I am have experience of all kinds. And I have always loved cats!
About: Hello my name is Candida (Candi). I have worked in and with Rescues and Humane Societies throughout the State of WI over the last 30 years. I currently have 4 dogs and live out in the country with lots of room to run. I am very familiar with different behavior issues as well as how to work with your pets to get through those issues. This experience comes from fostering many high risk animals over the years. Your pet will be treated the same in my home as he/ she is treated in your home. If they go on your furniture, they are welcome on mine, etc. I am always willing to go the extra mile, if your pet needs a bath or a nail clip, I am happy to do that. I have experience with training, CPR, Giving Meds both by mouth and shot. Some of my friends lovingly call me the crazy dog lady because of my deep love for dogs, they have feelings and emotions just as we do and I always take that into consideration when caring for them. Given the opportunity I will show you that you can trust me to care for your baby while you are away just as you care for them when you are home. I currently work part time at my own small business so my schedule is super flexible and can be easily worked around your needs. This gives me the flexibility to give your pet all the time and attention they need while in my care. I have four dogs that are the sweetest babies. They get along great with all animals as well as kids. I do not have a fenced yard as we live on 80 acres out in the country, but I do have a portable temporary fencing that can be put up for outside time. We have a large area in the lower level of our home for inside play time. As I said earlier, when your pet is in my home, they will be treated just as they are when they are with you. I know how important routine is to their little minds. If you feed at a certain time, I will follow that routine. I know mine have a very set routine, they surely know when dinner time is. :o)

About: My Lab pups were immediately potty trained at 8 weeks by my carrying them outside upon awakening. All are kind and gentle loving animals that wear smiles on their faces. Very happy. I am retired and flexible. I live at The House on the Rock and love the outdoors, walking the trails and golf. I am also an early riser. I live in a very pet friendly community with our current Lab, Finnegan and Buster the cat. Finnegan is 2 and loves to play with other dogs as well as Buster.

“Barbara accepted our request even though it was a last minute. My two dogs enjoyed a lot at her place, with a big fenced yard while we were enjoying at water park with our kids. She even sends pics of dogs, which makes us feel better knowing they r having good time. I appreciate Barbara’s great hospitality for our two dogs. ❤️❤️❤️”

About: My family has always had dogs. I’ve had all types of experiences with dogs. I have been pet sitting for years. I was in the 4h dog obedience project, did rally obedience, showmanship, did cgc and therapy dog training, dog agility, and I’m working at a doggie daycare and boarding facility now have been there for almost 8 years. I do work full time. But my husband works from home and agreed to help me out. So there will always be somebody at the house to watch over your pet.
