About: ****Our family is growing June 2026. We will be taking a pause from watching our four-legged friends starting in June '26 and expect to resume services in September '26. May '26 bookings may be possible, and we will start considering bookings for September and beyond starting in August**** Together we both have extensive experience with dogs of all ages and types. We have experience raising puppies, including those being raised to be future service dogs. Additionally, we have experience working with special needs dogs that are blind or require daily insulin treatment. We currently have two dogs, a 5 year old black lab and a 2 year old golden retriever. Both are highly socialized and get along well with dogs of all sizes/personalities. Ochai is well-known at the Rib Mountain dog park as being one of the sweetest dogs to people and dogs alike. We both volunteer our time at the Humane Society of Marathon County. Furthering our experiences with dogs of many backgrounds and temperaments. You may see a featured adoptable dog that is currently at the shelter in our photos. This dog is one we personally think may be a great addition to a family, especially one that already has a dog! Sometimes we send our dogs to daycare so we can open up our home to a shelter dog for the day and give them the relaxing day they deserve so much. Of course, on the days we do this, we aren't available to offer daycare/boarding. If you have a HSMC graduate pup from May 2023 onward we would love to see our old friends again! Please let us know and we will offer a free day of boarding or daycare as a token of appreciation for adopting a HSMC pup! When we confirm a booking you should know that at least one of us will likely be with your dog at all times, day or night. We both work from home quite often and before confirming a reservation we will check/adjust our schedules to make sure someone is going to be home during the day. It is important to your pup's experience and safety that someone is watching them at all times. NEW! Tractive GPS Tracking The safety and wellbeing of your dog is always important to us and we know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your pet behind. That is why we have added a GPS tracker to utilize. Not only will your furry loved one's location always be known at any given second, but we can also track their health to make sure they are doing well during their stay. -We currently only have one device, so it is not a guarantee your dog will be utilizing it during their stay. If you would like to guarantee it for your pup during their stay, we can accommodate these types of requests at the time of booking for $5/night or $25/stay. -We can share access to the tracker so you can know your pups location at any time and can check in on their health. It will show various information like their sleep activity and exercise information. This is only available if you reserve the tracker ahead of their stay. ---NEW! We are now privately insured outside of Rover. This allows additional and even more comprehensive coverage for your pup while they stay with us. Through PSA we are able to offer up to $2,500 in deductible free veterinary care if your pup gets hurt/ill.--- Our house features a spacious half acre yard that is fully fenced in. You will get plenty of pictures and updates of your pup under our care. Please let us know the frequency of pictures/updates you would like and we will be happy to show you how your pup is doing. If the weather is nice, I will try to get outside and take some pictures with an actual camera for you to enjoy. About: We've been taking care of select dogs for many years for friends and family, knowing that dog owners tend to worry about their pets when they're away and want someone who understands that and will care for their pets as they would. we've always had dogs until recently, I also photograph dogs for fun. We often board a dog who has seizures and requires medication and have watched other unusual dogs including puppies and dogs still healing from surgery. For many years we volunteered at the local humane society. We have a fenced in yard that our late beagle mix of 18 years regularly tried to escape and repeatedly failed. Dogs in our home are considered guests and are treated as such. I currently work from home, so letting dogs out regularly and giving regular attention is no problem at all. I'm done with work in the afternoon which leaves me plenty of time to get dogs out for exercise and socializing. Dorothy, my wife, also has plenty of daytime open for play time and extra loving. I work from home and regularly take play breaks, Dorothy, my wife is home most days and offers lots of love. We try to get to the dog park now and then on the weekends. We have a modest fenced in back yard with a wooded lot behind us, I walk dogs regularly in several areas. We keep also keep a toybox full of dog toys :-)
“Haley was superb as a pet visitor. She arrived everyday at the appropriate time as requested by us. Took photos of our beloved kitty and fed and looked after Mary, our semi-feral cat. It's amazing she was able to get the photos since Mary is so skittish, but she did and we loved seeing them while we were away. Haley was as nice in person as she was responsible and punctual. About: I have owned horses and dogs my whole life and have a love for animals. I have been watching family friend’s dogs for years and I wanted to get more into pet sitting/walking! I also volunteered at the humane society all throughout college so I have a lot of experience with cats of all personalities as well as dogs that may be shy or have triggers. I currently work from home 3 out of the 5 days which makes it easy for me to pet sit during the week and ensuring full care!! I also work 7 am to 3:15 pm so I have all afternoon to do any dog walks and check ins! At my home I have room for a crate if needed. If you request that I take them out on the walking trails, I do ask that your pets have tick medication on them.

About: I grew up with a variety of pets, and I thoroughly love all kinds of animals! My family had a dog about 19years, and we took care of him from puppy years to old age. I have my own dog, Roxy a collie mix, who I raised by myself from 4mo old and she has learned so much! I am a travel nurse so I’m not from the area and I am free any day that I’m not working! I typically do 3 - 12hr night shifts. Since I am not from the area I cannot take animals into my own place, but I am very flexible and willing to accommodate any way that is needed for you and your pet's needs.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 12 years old, from my own family dogs to friends dogs while away. I have also worked in boarding kennels and was a wildlife rehabilitator for over 5 years! I have extensive knowledge in a medical background so giving your pets any medication won't be a problem. If that means kenneling them when I leave or they only like a certain route to be walked along, I can do it!
About: I’ve been around dogs since I was five years old. My family has owned a Dalmatian, Black Lab, and a German Shepherd mix. Always was the go to “dog sitter” for friends/family growing up! Since moving out and living on my own, I welcomed a mini Dachshund named Bentley. He is the best addition and just the sweetest little guy. About: I’ve always loved animals of all shapes and sizes, and got my pup, Murphy about 3 years ago. Although he’s the family dog I was the main caretaker for him and as a puppy taught him basic commands as well as house trained him. I don’t have much personal experience with cats, however, my grandparents had a few growing up and I always enjoyed simply admiring them or playing with them every time I visited. Additionally, I fostered a kitten for a summer and loved the experience! I’m currently away from home for college and miss hanging out around animals; I would love to show your pet some love <3 I’m currently working part time so I’m available most of the week. I enjoy walks with my boyfriend on local trails and around the neighborhood, so the addition of your pet would be no problem at all! If needed, my apartment is pet friendly, I have no kids, and like to keep my space tidy which makes for a versatile space for all needs. I understand that routine is important and would love to help make that easier for the days where it might not be possible. I also hugely value respect in all aspects whether it’s time, space, overall treatment towards another, etc. I think that’s a crucial way to make not only you as a pet owner feel safe but your pet as well.

About: Hello! My name is Elicia and I have been around animals my entire life. I currently have 3 dogs (4 including my husband 😂) Doug, Cooper and Nala. I love to spend time with animals, and know the struggle of finding someone trust worthy to take care of your kids! I have great references, and am pretty flexible when it comes to the needs and care of you and your pets. I promise to love on them and treat them as if they were my own, no matter how big or how small! I am also open to discussing payment options as well - I am here to work with you and your babies! Looking forward to chatting with you! I have a full time job, 7a-4p Monday - Friday in Wausau. I have the option to work from home 1 day a week if needed, but cannot work from home on Mondays or Fridays. If you’re located close enough to my employer I can let your pets out at lunch! I currently have no restrictions when it comes to caring for pets. I have cared for puppies all the way to elderly dogs. I have no allergies, so nothing to worry about there! I can take them for walks, to the dog park, and am willing to do everything I can to keep them on their schedule and stress free!
“Craig is an amazing pet sitter - you can’t go wrong having him care for your fur baby. He spent all of his time with our senior dog Linus, who takes several medications several times a day. In addition, he took Linus on many adventures and played ball with him constantly and had a fun toy box. Linus had his own vacation while we were on vacation. I was able to relax and have zero worries, knowing Linus was in great hands. We would use Craig again in a heartbeat.”
