She was super accommodating and helpful, taking him in just hours after us contacting her very last minute while stressed trying to figure out what to do with him. Taking in his “puppy shenanigans” and all like he was one of her own. Amber made sure to keep me updated about how his was doing helping to ease my mind of having him away from home for the first time. Sending me pictures/videos and messages about how his day was going. She also took the time to make sure that my pup was comfortable and entertained. Taking him on walks and being able to run around and play in the yard. Letting him go at his own pace and doing what made him feel safe when he didn’t like the rain or was was scared by her dog at first (he wasn’t the biggest one around anymore and couldn’t terrorize/annoy every living thing like he normally likes to do). She even went the extra mile to wash his bed after an accident over night and have him and all of his stuff packed up nicely and ready to go for me when I got there. My little boy loved playing with her and her family. And having the other dogs around for him to interact with was a bonus. When I tell you he was so excited when he first met them that I didn’t even get a second look over the shoulder or a goodbye before he took off to play with one of the kids ? (I’m still emotionally processing his betrayal ?). I could not recommend Amber enough! Your pet will be greatly taken care of (Not to mention worn out….he’s been napping since the moment we put him in the car) and all of your worries will fade the moment you get there.”

About: Although new to Rover as a sitter, we've used Rover frequently for our boys. I've had pets (cats, dogs, fish) ever since I was 14. I don't have special certs but have done puppy classes and have successfully trained our dogs since! One being a Shiba Inu if you know how stubborn they are 😉. I currently have two bernese mountain dogs and love furry friends from small to extra large! I've done drop ins and in home in the past. Im currently mostly a SAHM! I am a RN but only work 16hrs a month. I will have ample time to be at home with all pets. I have a fenced yard (6ft chain linked) and two neutered boys to keep your pets company. I can also always go for walks, fill a small kiddie pool for the dogs to play in, and whatever else your pup enjoys! I can crate as well if need be and tons of pictures can and will always be sent.

About: I have grown up around dogs my whole life and I've had my first (adult life) dog for three and a half year. Wila Rose is an Australian Cattle Dog mix. About a year and a half ago we added another rescue, Buckley Quinn. He is a smart but goofy boy. They both go backpacking with us and we do a lot of hiking on our local public land areas. We enjoy playing around in our yard with our limited dog agility set and learning new tricks. We occasionally go swimming but love jumping and exploring new water areas and hiking trails. Wila and Buckley are a huge part of my life. We enjoy hiking, being outdoor, and traveling as much as possible. We do quite a but of training included but not limited to: agility, scent training, shed training, and just some fun party tricks. I had a beloved toy poodle named Seven for 15 years, who was truly the best dog and a cherished member of our family. Hunter gets meds twice a day in a pill supplement as well as I trim their nails and baths occasionally. I currently rent a duplex that has a fenced backyard, and also have a spare bedroom and wire kennel if needed. Typically my dogs free roam during the day, and are good to be alone overnight or up to 10hrs which can allow me to spend time with your furry friend.

About: I grew up on a horse farm and always had a variety of animals around me. A cat and dog were our constant companions, so caring for animals has always felt natural to me. As an adult, I realize that growing up that way taught me responsibility from an early age. I understand how important it is to have someone you can rely on and trust when you’re away from home, and I want you to feel completely at ease knowing your pets are in my care. When I care for your pets, I’ll follow their normal routines as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. I’ll give them the attention, affection, exercise, food, and care they need—and of course, I’ll clean up after them and leave your home just as I found it, if not better.
About: I want to give every dog a happy experience, whether its a simple walk, playing, or a ton of pets. “Our 2 dogs stayed at Sarah's for about a week earlier this month. The stay was great! We got daily updates, including photos and videos. They have a fantastic large fenced in yard where they could safety run and play. They had lots of playtime, but also lots of snuggles and love. They were both clearly enjoying their own vacation at Sarah's while we were gone on ours. It was so refreshing to know they were so well cared for while we were away- we have already rebooked them for our next trip!”

“Amber was amazing! Her and her family helped take great care of my 3 month old pup for a few days while we were in the process of moving. She was super accommodating and helpful, taking him in just hours after us contacting her very last minute while stressed trying to figure out what to do with him. Taking in his “puppy shenanigans” and all like he was one of her own. Amber made sure to keep me updated about how his was doing helping to ease my mind of having him away from home for the first time. Sending me pictures/videos and messages about how his day was going. She also took the time to make sure that my pup was comfortable and entertained. Taking him on walks and being able to run around and play in the yard. Letting him go at his own pace and doing what made him feel safe when he didn’t like the rain or was was scared by her dog at first (he wasn’t the biggest one around anymore and couldn’t terrorize/annoy every living thing like he normally likes to do). She even went the extra mile to wash his bed after an accident over night and have him and all of his stuff packed up nicely and ready to go for me when I got there. My little boy loved playing with her and her family. And having the other dogs around for him to interact with was a bonus. When I tell you he was so excited when he first met them that I didn’t even get a second look over the shoulder or a goodbye before he took off to play with one of the kids ? (I’m still emotionally processing his betrayal ?). I could not recommend Amber enough! Your pet will be greatly taken care of (Not to mention worn out….he’s been napping since the moment we put him in the car) and all of your worries will fade the moment you get there.”
“Kaycee was very helpful at our meet and greet, we hung out in their yard for a bit and she explained their setup and routine. She sent pictures while Ollie was boarded, which is much appreciated, and accommodated Ollie when he needed company overnight.”
