She cared for our Golden Retriever, Winston, for four days and kept me updated with plenty of photos, videos, and thoughtful messages throughout his stay. Winston is only a year old and still has plenty of puppy energy, so I especially appreciated all the walks, playtime, and engagement she provided. She was patient when he got a little testy and took her time introducing him to the other pups in her home so he could settle in comfortably. I also loved seeing her reinforce training in the videos she sent. It was clear she was putting real time and care into him, and I felt completely at ease knowing he was in her hands. Starting with the great communication and quick responses to the photos she sent during her stay down to the treats Bobbie sent home for Bailey after her stay. I have one dog who is high energy, but independent enough to do her own thing. She loves to play fetch, walk the trails in the woods, and car rides. I will always introduce my dog to yours through a baby gate, once they get smells/intro’s over with I like to have them meet outside for a potty break, this method takes the protective instincts away. Guards come down. A little trick I learned from working at the Vet Clinic that hasn’t let me down yet. I can keep them separate from one another also if you wish/request. Though my dog is a fixed/spayed female. I have a split level 4 bedroom house that allows a lot of space in the two living room areas in case your pet prefers their own space to eat/protective. I live 8 min from the Shawano dog park and less than 5 min from the dog beach.

About: I have had a love for dogs my entire life! I was blessed to grow up with the sweetest Black Lab and my family welcomed a toy poodle to our family when I was 12. In the last couple of years, the family dogs have gone from 2 to 6 with the addition of my in-laws. I am at my happiest when we are all in the same house, each of us with a dog on our lap or at our feet. I don't know what life is like without a dog in it! I lost my 4 year old mini dachshund unexpectedly in 2020. Since then my love for dogs has only grown. I would love to hangout with your furbaby! About: I have experience caring for animals of all kinds, though I can currently only offer in-my-home care to dogs. I have always had family pets growing up. I got my own dog when I was in high school. I currently own 2 well-mannered dogs, a hunting labrador and a scent detection pit-mix. I have more than 2 years of professional gun dog training experience, and have trained over 50 puppies/dogs. I currently work from home, so I will be able to accommodate any schedule your pet may need. My own dogs recieve 2 feedings per day (5am and 5pm). We often take a morning walk (typically no less than 1-2 miles, less if I am walking a young puppy or senior dog with mobility issues). Also evening walks if weather is appropriate. I do not allow my dogs to do strenuous activity or rough play right after a meal. The yard is not fenced, so dogs will be on leash or long-line and fully supervised when outside the home. For off-lead outdoor fun we will take trips to the local dog park (not a very heavily trafficed dog park, usually empty). I have experience providing oral and subcutaneous medication to pets, should your pet need medication while in my care.

My family has nicknamed me dog girl because I take on the challenge of caring for all of them during family functions. I have experience with all sorts of medical needs as well. I grew up with 1 tripod, 1 blind, and 1 asthmatic cat, so I'm no stranger to giving medicine. I work from 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM (about 25 hours a week), which leaves my entire midday window from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM wide open for lunchtime walks, playtime, and companionship. I am also available for quick check-ins before my morning shift, and my evenings are completely free after 6:30 PM for late-night cuddles and dedicated overnight stays. Because my daily job already centers around professional feeding, medicating, and cleaning, keeping your pet's routine seamless and sanitary between my shifts is second nature to me! About: I have worked with numerous animals since I was 5 years old. I have owned chickens, rabbits, horses, dogs, and cats my entire life. I am a 4-H leader where I teach children how to train dogs and I help them show and prepare their animals at fair. I also show my own animals at the fair. I will always be there for your pet and I will make sure they are well taken care of and loved just like they are my own. I am a teacher who is currently on summer break. I take my dogs all over in the summer and I would make sure your pet gets a lot of attention and exercise as well. Additionally, we have a huge barn and fenced in pasture as well as rabbit hutches in the barn and a chicken coop! Whatever animal you have they can be comfortable at my property. Additionally, if you feel better about your animal staying at home, I am happy to accommodate to that as well.

About: I have had a love for dogs my entire life! I was blessed to grow up with the sweetest Black Lab and my family welcomed a toy poodle to our family when I was 12. In the last couple of years, the family dogs have gone from 2 to 6 with the addition of my in-laws. I am at my happiest when we are all in the same house, each of us with a dog on our lap or at our feet. I don't know what life is like without a dog in it! I lost my 4 year old mini dachshund unexpectedly in 2020. Since then my love for dogs has only grown. I would love to hangout with your furbaby! There is still so many breeds of both dogs and cats that I would love to be able to take care of. I am currently working part-time at a pet boarding/ daycare facility and still going to school.
