Im the niece of a large animal veterinarian whose clinic I volunteered at after school and summers. Currently my husband and I are owned by a Labrador Retriever and an English Setter. We are active with a national English Setter rescue, which is where our beautiful boy came from, and run volunteer transports of dogs on their way to foster or forever homes. Im semi-retired! I work during the normal school year as a nursing instructor. I am off during the summer and am home FULL TIME to dedicate ALL of my time & attention to the fur babies! If pups need more alone time/privacy, they can be housed separately from my dogs at all times as we have multiple access points from our home to our fenced in yard and gate sectioning in our house. About: I've been around animals my whole life. I have a cat and have had several different dogs. I even fostered dogs for a summer. I'm now divorced and have my kids half the time. My work is flexible and I can add in dog care as needed throughout the day. I homeschool my boys when I have them and work delivery jobs when I don't. My work is very flexible so I can make time for per care any time. I live in town with a small yard. It works best to come to your home as it's most familiar for the animal. About: I have worked for roughly two years dog sitting for friends and family. Typically these have been in my own home - occasionally overnight. I have a fenced in back yard for my 3 dogs & 2 cats so I have experience with both :) I have complete availability currently, so my dog at home gets quite a lot of walks and park time. If possible, i also try to socialize him with people each day. Typically I take my dog to the dog park in the evening with a long walk in the morning. This works best for my dogs energy levels, but each dog is different. I am also trying to socialize my dog in public as he is a bit scared of humans so we try to hit some breweries here and there.

I was traveling constantly for work, but am now full time work from home. When I lived in another state for work, I did pet care as a part time job with private clients weekly. I do live in an apartment, BUT, I am right next to the walking trail in River Prairie (the loop). I would be more than happy to go on as many walks as needed, and enjoy some sunshine with your fur baby! So do not worry, they can be outside as much or little as you’d like. I am open to care of all animals, all sizes, and all ages. If wanted, I visit my family farm quite often where we have extensive yard and land to run on. It is 100% an option for me to take your pet there if you want them to have some extra smells, especially if they stay long term with me. I’m extremely flexible and want you to not have to worry! While I traveled full time for work in the past, constant updates on my animals back home was crucial to me. I will provide as much or little communication you’d like. I’m here to meet you and your pet where you’d like and keep being away from them stress free. I promise they are in such caring hands! I work from home most days and go on daily walks myself! About: I've had a lot of dogs in my life since I was very little that I have helped watch or care for. I help watch my relatives dogs when they are out on vacation or just gone for a few days. They've always relied on me to help them out and of course I did! I was always willing to take their dogs to care for if others they asked first couldn't do so. I've bathe and fed their pets as if they were just like mine to love and care for while in my hands! I'm a part timer so I would definitely have enough time to care for other pets in my hands! I also always try to find a way to work my schedule as best as I can. I don't have a fenced yard but I always put their leashes on and walk them out to use bathrooms or small walks around the yard or sidewalks. About: They say to do what you love and make a career out of it. I’m just grateful my career gets to be with dogs. I currently work at a doggy daycare/boarding facility in the area, so I am certified with dog and cat behaviors and have seen the ups and downs of our fur babies, and I am still standing here happy to tell you all about their stay/session. I have also grown up with working farm dogs and have gone on to own a Great Pyrenees who isn’t quite a working dog but sure does “work” like one. Pet care for me starts at dawn lol My pups come for cuddles and a potty break first sight of my eyes opening. Most of the time this does align with my work schedule in the 6 am timeframe. I do work part time and in those morning shifts end roughly at 12-3 however my partner is typically home before me to let the pups outside. While I personally do not have a yard, my family does own large pasture fields and hills that we will typically walk daily. These colder seasons do affect how often we go out due to the snow and unplowed hills. However in that safe weather we make it a main priority to keep active with our pups to maintain a healthy and long life for them. Safety is priority number one. Thankfully my family is pretty much set up for success here. We are knowledgeable for food, behavior, and play safety with dogs and cats. Signs and symptoms of common issues with dogs and cats, based off personal experiences, and possible fears of what ifs, urinary cat blockages and bloat, or bloody stools. And while I understand dog body language and know how to avoid those tense situations dogs can create, I am incredibly quick to say when we are going to the emergency vet, gosh forbid.

I am very flexible. I have all kinds of time to play and give extra care and love to your pet. I'm open to pet sitting over night, drop-in visits, walks, baths, and more. My prices are very affordable, infact, compared to most I give the best rate and my petcare is A-1 Spectacular. 🤗 I am passionate about caring for animals and I absolutely love to help people in anyway I can. I love taking fur buddies for nature walks. I am very flexible and willing to pet sit during day-time hours or overnight. I am also very respectful to abide by any rules or lifestyle choices an owner has for their pet. I am always prompt, however, I did have to cancel one time due to an emergency. Otherwise, I will answer promptly, I am kind, hospitable, and a joy to be around.

“Dessirae is the best! This was our dogs' first stay with her, and it was great! The dogs loved her and her home. The dogs were not entirely sure that they wanted to return home with me, when I showed up to retrieve them today. “Marissa is absolutely AMAZING! She took on our babies an hour after requesting when we were left in a bind. Her house is beautiful and immaculately clean. They have multiple methods of safety for those considered a flight risk and worried mom's such as myself! Excellent communication and lightning fast responses with picture and video updates! Marrisa and her parents have taken excellent care of my babies and put my mind to ease.. my girls warmed up to her so much we booked another stay!
