We had a need for an overnight stay and decided to try Rover which led us to Emily and Thomas as they lived close by. We are so very thankful that we found them! About: I've been a dog owner for as long as I can remember. I currently have one nine year old Chihuahua mix on seizure medicine twice a day. We have a fenced in yard with a chain link fence perfect for letting your dog run around. I am usually up by 5am to go for a run or cycle. I work from home regularly so I can be flexible with letting the dogs out. I have a fenced in yard with one friendly dog of my own to keep your dog company. I have cameras in the home to keep an eye on the pups if I do need to run out.

About: My husband and I are frequently taking care of our grand pups! Both 4 years old. We treat them like our own. One’s a chocolate lab, the other is a dachshund. I am an early riser. I get my morning exercise done then am pretty free the rest of the day. With the exception of an occasional appointment here and there. We do not have a fenced yard but would do daily walks. We have a path near our home. We also have lots of dog toys.

Each one is unique. I adore animals and care very much that they receive excellent care. About: I have always had a dog or multiple dogs in my life. I treat them like family. My friends come to me when they need their dogs watched! I am currently unemployed. I had experience working with animals at Petco and I had a previous job working with puppies from age 8weeks up and LOVED it! I would like to do it again. I have two chihuahuas that are allowed to have free roam of the house and yard. They know their boundaries and do not get leashed in the yard. They are allowed on anything but the counters and table! Recently Ozzie spent a few hours at Chris and Dan's home so he could become a little more familiar with them and their dogs before his 4 day stay. About: I’ve had dogs all my life. I have a 7 year old golden named bode. I am familiar with medication distribution and other restrictions. Bode was diagnosed with lymphoma at 5 and has been in remission for 2 years. I grew up with labs as well as shitzus and my dad has a 9 year old golden. I would prefer to meet any candidate prior to boarding as they will be in the same space as my golden, he’s a gentle giant and gets along with all animals. He is a service animal so I have experience in training and younger dogs as well. I work from home full time and have a lot of free time to give during the week. Weekends are busy for me at the moment but will slow down come winter. I work from home so week days are great I have a lot of flexibility for walks and play time and potty breaks. Very attentive and will have my golden to play with. Big grass area to play at but no fence, live in a townhome with lots of toys. Since I work from home I’m very attentive and responsive.

If you don’t really have a route with pups and are a go with the flow person like I am I can provide, 8-10 potty’s breaks and lots of attention. For safety during walks in my neighborhood, there are no sidewalks so we walk against traffic so we can see oncoming cars with dogs on the right side of me farthest away from the road in grass. In the winter, I follow a cold-weather walking policy for safety: if it’s too cold for me in an t shirt it’s too cold for them! Usually requests winter weather gear like boots and coat but one can be provided(washed after every use with pet safe detergent). (Black puffer and no slip socks.) Night time walking- don’t worry about the days getting darker I’ve got it covered with my reflective gear, flashlight, collar light clips, and more. I often watch my parents 2 year old energetic boxer mix, as well as 3 cats, one who has heart failure. I also love spending time with my sisters 5 year old mini doxie. I’m comfortable cleaning up messes, cleaning litter boxes and providing basic medical needs. I look forward to meeting the furry important members of your family and providing the best care I can! I have an open availability for Monday-Friday from 6am-3pm. I’m available for longer walks if needed or short in and out trips. I take my parents dog Willie on walks around local parks, he’s a very energetic dog and likes to pull. So I take it one step at a time with him and give him ample time to soak in all the enrichment of the environment around us.
About: I have been taking care of animals for roughly 13 years. We always had pets growing up and I did a lot of dog sitting in high school. I grew up on a farm so I have experience taking care of all sorts of different animals I work for a school district so I have fairly short hours during the day and have weekends off. About: I have grown up and worked with animals my whole life. From having both dogs and cats growing up, to working as a Sea Lion trainer at the Milwaukee County Zoo, I have learned how to care for, and train, animals on a daily basis. It’s fun to get to know their different personalities, what motivates them, and understanding what will make their day positive. I love going on long walks or just lounging and giving lots of pets. About: I live at home but am alone most of the time with my 2 dogs taking care of them! I love every dog I meet and enjoy spending time with them. About: I’ve had animals my entire life. I have also been taking care of pets for family members and neighbors for quite some time. I love meeting new furry friends and I hope to meet many more I am currently working full time, but I’m looking to move more into a caregiving job, working with animals more frequently. About: I’ve covered private care, dog walking, training, vet settings and grooming over the past 20 years. Currently I’m the lead groomer at a local doggie daycare specializing in behavioral rehabilitation. This means dogs in my care get folded into my pack and taken along for our day. We have a 1/3 of an acre to relax on and can reinforce training or loose leash pack walks during their stay. As I work with dogs full time, we can easily fold 1-2 dogs into our daily routine. Structured feed times, crate rotation, daily training and lots of playing in the yard are already a part of our day. Dogs can come to work with me if necessary where they will have yard access for potty breaks and a private area indoors, or stay home with my older girl who prefers the peace and quiet of sun bathing, and midday breaks for walks or time in the yard. We have a large home and yard to accommodate everyone, employ structured meal times and crate and rotate when necessary so everyone has 1-1 time at home.
