She's very good with dogs and we had talked with a couple other people coicindentally who also had their dogs kept by Christina with positive things to say. There were nuances that we hadn't remembered to mention & after communicating those with Christina, made a little more sense as to why our dog acted the way she did. It was unfortunate that our dog didn't have introduction to the setting prior to this as I'm pretty sure she was a bit overwhelmed with a different caregiver, house, dogs etc. We've reviewed many other dog sitters and Christina filled all of our desired qualities. About: I've cared for a total of 8 kitties in my lifetime, from the daily feeding and litter scooping to claw trimming to intensive palliative care, and the 12 weeks of injections for Minky's FIP (she is totally healthy now!), and Poppy's twice daily epilepsy meds. I can handle any and all of it! Now I have 3 cats. Moki, my 16 yo boy, Minky, who's 3, and Poppy, the youngest at 2 years old. We all love our play sessions, whether that's with their wand and feather toy, their colorful springs, or exploring the outdoors in their harnesses. My name is Savannah (or Sav for short!) and I’ve worked in pet care for 6 years in Minneapolis before moving to Duluth, resulting in completing hundreds of walks and dozens of sittings- and I love what I do! About: I am currently working towards a bachelor's in Animal Behavior and Welfare, as interacting with animals and learning about them is a passion of mine. I greatly enjoy learning to care for them and then doing so. The degree im working towards is focused on the care of animals while educating the public about them. I grew up with a dog and have had many small animals as pets throughout my life, rodents, fish, insects, arachnids, frogs, etc. Currently I have 3 reptiles and two cats. Willow-Wisp, and Boiled-Egg are my cats. My corn snake is Copper, Blue Tongued Skink is Little-Dude, and Tripod is my leopard gecko. Both Boiled-Egg and Tripod have medical conditions that require at home management and care which has given me some skills in caring for animals with disabilities. They are not the only animal I have history caring for with medical issues either. Many of my experience with pets has been rescue pets, and I have had plenty practice and patience regarding them and behaviors post trauma. I am more than willing to learn about your pets needs and help medical or otherwise. I am currently focusing on college and have plenty of time to help care for your animals. The only day I will be unavailable is Sunday. I have a fenced in yard and half the house closes off by doors so the cats will not interact with your animals unless you are comfortable with it. Depending on your animals preferance I can ensure that I spend time with them or give them the space to feel comfortable and settle in. Any and all expectations set regarding their care and what food, toys, or treats they are allowed will of course be followed. I may have treats of my own I could offer them but will only do so with your approval and in amounts you allow. I do haveextra food and water bowels if you would prefer to use those rather than bringing your own. In the case something awful were to happen I have experience bringing animals to emergency.

About: Living on a farm, I have a lot of experience interacting with animals of all kinds. Running a farm of any size is not a one person job so my family is a big part of my life. I can’t imagine a better place to live doing something I love. Pet care is an integral part of my daily routine. Whether it is feeding and watering our chickens and cows or grooming our dogs, I work hard to ensure our animals are cared for. I am a stay at home mom so your four legged friends will rarely be left alone. I work hard to follow any instructions owners may give me. Additionally, I make sure all animals in our care have access to food, water, and love. About: I simply adore animals! I will provide loving, playful, patient, high quality care that will leave your fur babies begging for more! I am able to administer medications and general care as specified. I also offer nail/claw trims for dogs and cats for $20. Just check the bathing/grooming box. I prioritize play, so even drop ins will get plenty of entertainment! Supervised puzzle feeds, or playing with favorite toys, or whatever pops up in the moment. Pup-led play is usually the most fun! My schedule is fairly open most of the time, but I am going to be starting trade school to become a barefoot specialist for equines sometime in 2026. I need a flexible work schedule so I can trim my case study horses, and the horses I already trim for a friend. - REGARDING OVERNIGHT STAYS! My rates are for ONE 12 hr overnight visit. If you need me for consecutive nights with drop ins during the day, my rates increase to cover each drop in. Walks, nail trims, daily brushing are also an additional cost. These additional charges will be discounted, not my full rate. Let's discuss it 😃 My kitties and I enjoy a peaceful life out in the country. We're new to it, and it's not our house, so I am not currently offering boarding or doggy daycare. I am incredibly respectful of others' spaces. I follow the 'leave no trace' hiking guideline into clients' homes! I respect privacy and will never invite strangers in or take photos for any other reason than to update you, the owner.

About: I've been around pets my whole life from growing up with 3 dogs to adopting a sweet black lab Diamond as a young adult. I pride myself in sending lots of photos and updates with consistency, taking time for a daily walk and run (if they're up for it!), and providing a safe space (no other animals or kids living in the house, fenced in yard, dog-proof everything, etc...). I live in East Hillside Duluth with great access to paved and off-road walking/running routes. My house has a fenced in yard and I have cultivated a pet-proof home over the years. I am currently a full-time online student, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to caring for your pets. “Christina, was very accommodating when we had an emergency family funeral to attend. The initial planned day was for a meet & greet but we needed emergency care for Willow & thankfully she had room. She's very good with dogs and we had talked with a couple other people coicindentally who also had their dogs kept by Christina with positive things to say. There were nuances that we hadn't remembered to mention & after communicating those with Christina, made a little more sense as to why our dog acted the way she did. It was unfortunate that our dog didn't have introduction to the setting prior to this as I'm pretty sure she was a bit overwhelmed with a different caregiver, house, dogs etc. We've reviewed many other dog sitters and Christina filled all of our desired qualities. About: I am currently working towards a bachelor's in Animal Behavior and Welfare, as interacting with animals and learning about them is a passion of mine. I greatly enjoy learning to care for them and then doing so. The degree im working towards is focused on the care of animals while educating the public about them. I grew up with a dog and have had many small animals as pets throughout my life, rodents, fish, insects, arachnids, frogs, etc. Currently I have 3 reptiles and two cats. Willow-Wisp, and Boiled-Egg are my cats. My corn snake is Copper, Blue Tongued Skink is Little-Dude, and Tripod is my leopard gecko. Both Boiled-Egg and Tripod have medical conditions that require at home management and care which has given me some skills in caring for animals with disabilities. They are not the only animal I have history caring for with medical issues either. Many of my experience with pets has been rescue pets, and I have had plenty practice and patience regarding them and behaviors post trauma. I am more than willing to learn about your pets needs and help medical or otherwise. I am currently focusing on college and have plenty of time to help care for your animals. The only day I will be unavailable is Sunday. I have a fenced in yard and half the house closes off by doors so the cats will not interact with your animals unless you are comfortable with it. Depending on your animals preferance I can ensure that I spend time with them or give them the space to feel comfortable and settle in. Any and all expectations set regarding their care and what food, toys, or treats they are allowed will of course be followed. I may have treats of my own I could offer them but will only do so with your approval and in amounts you allow. I do haveextra food and water bowels if you would prefer to use those rather than bringing your own. In the case something awful were to happen I have experience bringing animals to emergency.
“Emily saved our family vacation, and helped our sweet girl with separation anxiety come out of her shell! If catastrophizing was an Olympic sport, I’d be the undefeated Gold medalist. I automatically assume something will go wrong, so after plans for our dog’s care fell through right before our vacation, I was irritated with my husband for even suggesting Rover. I was certain, it wasn’t was possible to find someone Piper could meet, develop a relationship, and truly enjoy staying with—for 5 whole days, and on that short of notice. She’s a great dog, but she needs to know where my husband is at all times. That’s why I couldn’t believe he thought she’d survive a week away from him! Let alone after being plucked out of her home and left with complete strangers! I knew I’d have to stay home, and there was nothing Rover could do about it. I thought we were wasting our time, but I had been looking forward to that vacation for a year, so I wanted to be sure there was no way to make it work before accepting the loss. After coming across Emily’s profile, I I held my breath, and told my husband I was willing to schedule a meet-and-greet. Eveything about her experience, living arrangements, and family life looked perfect on paper, but the “glass is totally empty” part of me spent days insisting it was destined to fail. Imagine our surprise when the “absolutely not”, quickly shifted to talks of mutual friends, laughs, and knowing they were exactly who we were hoping to find!! We absolutely loved getting frequent photos chronicalling Piper’s adventures! Seeing how much fun she was having helped ease our minds, and allowed us to enjoy our time together as a family—without having to worry if she was being treated well! One after the other, each picture reminding we had nothing to worry about! We should just enjoy ourselves, because Piper was having too much fun, participating in too many activities, and soaking in immeasurable amounts of love and attention to worry about when we’d be back to pick her up!
