“Amber was amazing! Her and her family helped take great care of my 3 month old pup for a few days while we were in the process of moving. She was super accommodating and helpful, taking him in just hours after us contacting her very last minute while stressed trying to figure out what to do with him. Taking in his “puppy shenanigans” and all like he was one of her own. Amber made sure to keep me updated about how his was doing helping to ease my mind of having him away from home for the first time. Sending me pictures/videos and messages about how his day was going. She also took the time to make sure that my pup was comfortable and entertained. Taking him on walks and being able to run around and play in the yard. Letting him go at his own pace and doing what made him feel safe when he didn’t like the rain or was was scared by her dog at first (he wasn’t the biggest one around anymore and couldn’t terrorize/annoy every living thing like he normally likes to do). She even went the extra mile to wash his bed after an accident over night and have him and all of his stuff packed up nicely and ready to go for me when I got there. My little boy loved playing with her and her family. And having the other dogs around for him to interact with was a bonus. When I tell you he was so excited when he first met them that I didn’t even get a second look over the shoulder or a goodbye before he took off to play with one of the kids ? (I’m still emotionally processing his betrayal ?). I could not recommend Amber enough! Your pet will be greatly taken care of (Not to mention worn out….he’s been napping since the moment we put him in the car) and all of your worries will fade the moment you get there.”
“Edith was great with our puppy Artemis! We were able to meet beforehand for a short notice meet and greet before the holidays. Artemis got along really well with her two dogs and it seemed like he was having a lot of fun throughout the day- he came back exhausted and happy to see us after a couple of weeks, but we could tell that he was well taken care of. Edith sent frequent picture updates, and we felt like he was in good hands the whole time. I would definitely book Artemis here again in the future!”

About: I am a proud dog owner/parent who loves spending time with my two Frenchies. I love to have doggy friends come over and spend quality time playing, snuggling, and relaxing. I am currently doing consulting work from home in a part time basis and have a very flexible schedule. I can do doggy daycare during the week as well as some weekends. The house have a fenced backyard that is very safe for our dogs and our house is doggy proof. I have crates too if that is your preference, otherwise your pup will be inside the house with us.

About: Finishing up my Navy career as a Military Working Dog Handler. I did this for 5 years and loved training the dogs. I currently work from home which allows me more time for taking care of your pets! I have experience with all types of dogs along with emergency care training and basic medical needs. If you ever need to make changes I am almost always able to accommodate. On nice days I like to sit outside with the dog(s) while they run around and enjoy some sun. About: Although new to Rover as a sitter, we've used Rover frequently for our boys. I've had pets (cats, dogs, fish) ever since I was 14. I don't have special certs but have done puppy classes and have successfully trained our dogs since! One being a Shiba Inu if you know how stubborn they are 😉. I currently have two bernese mountain dogs and love furry friends from small to extra large! I've done drop ins and in home in the past. Im currently mostly a SAHM! I am a RN but only work 16hrs a month. I will have ample time to be at home with all pets. I have a fenced yard (6ft chain linked) and two neutered boys to keep your pets company. I can also always go for walks, fill a small kiddie pool for the dogs to play in, and whatever else your pup enjoys! I can crate as well if need be and tons of pictures can and will always be sent.
“Emily accommodated us when our plans had to change suddenly and we needed someone to watch our pups for several hours. Her directions were great and she greeted us right away with a smile. The pups were comfortable to walk away from us with her which says a lot. She cleared the hike in advance and kept in touch with us. The boys were happy and mellow when we met to pick them and she was very understanding about their sometimes car sickness. We’d definitely recommend her as she was great with our pups and they can sometimes be a handful.”
About: Hello I have been taking care of all sorts of pets since I was very young! I have experience with potty training, crate training, walking, and lots of play time. I also can give any puppers bath if need be. I also have experience with cats and many other small animals. I am free all week as I stay home with my 4 kiddos. I have 2 young kids that are 2 and 3 years old and my other 2 are 9 and 12. I always make sure that my pets and anyone else's pets are fed at a certain time, made sure they get their walks and exercise, but also make sure they get their cuddle time as well. I also make sure that they have water on hand at all times.

About: I genuine care and give attention to every dog as if they were my own. I’m patient, reliable, and attentive to each dog’s individual needs. I’m comfortable working with puppies who are still learning routines, including basic training and potty schedules, and I’m also gentle and mindful with senior dogs who may need slower walks, medication reminders, or extra comfort. I had a beloved toy poodle named Seven for 15 years, who was truly the best dog and a cherished member of our family. About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and caring for them has always been a big part of my daily routine. I currently have three dogs and five cats, so I’m very comfortable handling multiple pets with different personalities and needs. I enjoy pet sitting because it gives me a reason to get outside and move my body, something I don’t (yet) do for myself… And of course, pet therapy is an added bonus. I work 3x a week at my “full time” job, 8 hour shifts, on the west side of Madison. This leaves me with ample flexibility and free time - I work from home about half of the time. I prefer long term stays for this reason, and most, if not all, save my memory, of my past pet visits have been for 3 or more days. First, I let the pets warm up to me, giving them the floor to tell me what they want. I stay with the pets as much as is possible so that they don’t feel alone, and I give them attention, affection and love while their parents are away. We go for long lazy walks each morning and night, at the least, and play with toys/prep puzzles/exercise their minds, if applicable. I care for the animals as if they were my own babies, because they are for the time being, and we have such fun adventures. Each one of them have unique personalities, and it’s for my pleasure to spend time with them!
About: I have experience with a lot of Senior Dogs and with middle age as well. I'm a very out going person and enjoy all types of pets and animals. My schedule is pretty open I would like to do this like 25 to 30 hours per week. I can any time of the day or night. I’m currently working part-time, mostly nights (5-9) and some longer weekend shifts (1-10). I will always work around you and you’re baby, I don’t mind taking night shifts at all! I have a large yard for pets to enjoy, leashed or unleashed! I also have a separate space where your pet can endulge in a fun play area! All of my pets are extremely friendly with humans and other animals alike.

“Paige S. was an excellent babysitter for my Babycat. My Babycat is all that I have in this world and I would trust Paige S. with my Babycat anytime. After communicating and speaking to Paige on the phone, I realized that Paige was a true animal lover like myself. It was then I booked with her to board my Babycat while I had to go to the hospital for 2 nights. During my stay at the hospital, Paige answered text and even sent pictures of my Babycat to reassure me. She also helped load and unload Babycat in her carrier, as I am dealing with a handicap.This is how Paige takes excellent care of animals and their humans ! “Amber was amazing! Her and her family helped take great care of my 3 month old pup for a few days while we were in the process of moving. She was super accommodating and helpful, taking him in just hours after us contacting her very last minute while stressed trying to figure out what to do with him. Taking in his “puppy shenanigans” and all like he was one of her own. Amber made sure to keep me updated about how his was doing helping to ease my mind of having him away from home for the first time. Sending me pictures/videos and messages about how his day was going. She also took the time to make sure that my pup was comfortable and entertained. Taking him on walks and being able to run around and play in the yard. Letting him go at his own pace and doing what made him feel safe when he didn’t like the rain or was was scared by her dog at first (he wasn’t the biggest one around anymore and couldn’t terrorize/annoy every living thing like he normally likes to do). She even went the extra mile to wash his bed after an accident over night and have him and all of his stuff packed up nicely and ready to go for me when I got there. My little boy loved playing with her and her family. And having the other dogs around for him to interact with was a bonus. When I tell you he was so excited when he first met them that I didn’t even get a second look over the shoulder or a goodbye before he took off to play with one of the kids ? (I’m still emotionally processing his betrayal ?). I could not recommend Amber enough! Your pet will be greatly taken care of (Not to mention worn out….he’s been napping since the moment we put him in the car) and all of your worries will fade the moment you get there.”
