She was super accommodating and helpful, taking him in just hours after us contacting her very last minute while stressed trying to figure out what to do with him. Taking in his “puppy shenanigans” and all like he was one of her own. Amber made sure to keep me updated about how his was doing helping to ease my mind of having him away from home for the first time. Sending me pictures/videos and messages about how his day was going. She also took the time to make sure that my pup was comfortable and entertained. Taking him on walks and being able to run around and play in the yard. Letting him go at his own pace and doing what made him feel safe when he didn’t like the rain or was was scared by her dog at first (he wasn’t the biggest one around anymore and couldn’t terrorize/annoy every living thing like he normally likes to do). She even went the extra mile to wash his bed after an accident over night and have him and all of his stuff packed up nicely and ready to go for me when I got there. My little boy loved playing with her and her family. And having the other dogs around for him to interact with was a bonus. When I tell you he was so excited when he first met them that I didn’t even get a second look over the shoulder or a goodbye before he took off to play with one of the kids ? (I’m still emotionally processing his betrayal ?). I could not recommend Amber enough! Your pet will be greatly taken care of (Not to mention worn out….he’s been napping since the moment we put him in the car) and all of your worries will fade the moment you get there.”

About: Finishing up my Navy career as a Military Working Dog Handler. I did this for 5 years and loved training the dogs. I currently work from home which allows me more time for taking care of your pets! I have experience with all types of dogs along with emergency care training and basic medical needs. About: I’ve had cats and dogs since I was four years old. Our family cares for our dogs deeply, meaning they get lots of walks and lots of love! My family and I recently just lost our fifteen year old dog Lucky due to old age, and that was hard for me. Through Lucky’s last years we gave him insulin twice a day, meaning I am very experienced in giving medicine to dogs. Im currently in school, so I usually walk my dog when I get home from school, and feed him dinner. On the weekends we take him for lots of hikes. School gets out in June, and I will be completely available after that, but currently I could only help on weekends and after 4pm on weekdays. I have a fenced yard with a five year old medium sized dog named Ferris, who just lost our older dog Lucky, and is missing his best friend, meaning he would love a playmate! Ferris gets lots of walks (three) everyday, and we feed him twice a day. We also have a crate if needed. We have multiple dog beds and food and water bowls for extra company!

I work 3x a week at my “full time” job, 8 hour shifts, on the west side of Madison. This leaves me with ample flexibility and free time - I work from home about half of the time. I prefer long term stays for this reason, and most, if not all, save my memory, of my past pet visits have been for 3 or more days. First, I let the pets warm up to me, giving them the floor to tell me what they want. I stay with the pets as much as is possible so that they don’t feel alone, and I give them attention, affection and love while their parents are away. We go for long lazy walks each morning and night, at the least, and play with toys/prep puzzles/exercise their minds, if applicable. I care for the animals as if they were my own babies, because they are for the time being, and we have such fun adventures. Each one of them have unique personalities, and it’s for my pleasure to spend time with them!

“Amber was amazing! Her and her family helped take great care of my 3 month old pup for a few days while we were in the process of moving. She was super accommodating and helpful, taking him in just hours after us contacting her very last minute while stressed trying to figure out what to do with him. Taking in his “puppy shenanigans” and all like he was one of her own. Amber made sure to keep me updated about how his was doing helping to ease my mind of having him away from home for the first time. Sending me pictures/videos and messages about how his day was going. She also took the time to make sure that my pup was comfortable and entertained. Taking him on walks and being able to run around and play in the yard. Letting him go at his own pace and doing what made him feel safe when he didn’t like the rain or was was scared by her dog at first (he wasn’t the biggest one around anymore and couldn’t terrorize/annoy every living thing like he normally likes to do). She even went the extra mile to wash his bed after an accident over night and have him and all of his stuff packed up nicely and ready to go for me when I got there. My little boy loved playing with her and her family. And having the other dogs around for him to interact with was a bonus. When I tell you he was so excited when he first met them that I didn’t even get a second look over the shoulder or a goodbye before he took off to play with one of the kids ? (I’m still emotionally processing his betrayal ?). I could not recommend Amber enough! Your pet will be greatly taken care of (Not to mention worn out….he’s been napping since the moment we put him in the car) and all of your worries will fade the moment you get there.”

After communicating and speaking to Paige on the phone, I realized that Paige was a true animal lover like myself. It was then I booked with her to board my Babycat while I had to go to the hospital for 2 nights. During my stay at the hospital, Paige answered text and even sent pictures of my Babycat to reassure me.
