About: My mom had rescue dogs and cats my entire childhood, and a few years ago, I adopted my kitty, Momo. Outside of my home, I occasionally help care for friends’ cats when they travel, which some times includes overnight stays, or some times just 2x a day check ins. I love playing or just chilling with cats. I’m happy to match a cat’s energy and play or not play however it seems to like. Unfortunately, I also have experience with caring for cats at end-of-life, as well as caring for cats experiencing illness. I’ve given antibiotics to my family cats and friends’ cats. My cat Momo is particularly difficult to give medicine to - unfortunately it really stresses him out, so I am very acclimated to cat scratches.

About: I've been around animals my whole life. I have a cat and have had several different dogs. I even fostered dogs for a summer. I'm now divorced and have my kids half the time. My work is flexible and I can add in dog care as needed throughout the day. I homeschool my boys when I have them and work delivery jobs when I don't. My work is very flexible so I can make time for per care any time. I live in town with a small yard. It works best to come to your home as it's most familiar for the animal. My mom adopted dogs big and small - as big as a golden retriever, and as little as a chihuahua, and often cared for multiple cats at a time. I grew up in California, where my family pets live with my parents - three dogs and two cats. My cat Momo moved to Eau Claire with me. My parents are planning to retire here, which will be a big move, especially with so many animals, so when the time comes, I’ll be helping move their pets. After living in Eau Claire for a month or so, I house and pet sat for my cousin while she was working on a project out of town for a few months. I bonded with her German Shepherd, Lobo, through long walks and runs, and fell in love with her tiny cat Duchess. Later that winter, while I was still doing the long-term pet sit for my cousin, one of her friend’s rescued a cat who had been abandoned. Due to her living situation, she couldn’t take it in immediately, so Lobo and Duchess had Zia as a guest living with us for a month or so. Beyond helping out my family, I have friends whose animals I help care for on occasion too. One friend reaches out when she needs to go out of town, and I will do check ups or come stay with her needy and sweet cat-named-Kitty. Another friend and I meet up to walk downtown with her cutie little dog Lotta. I record all my walks and runs on Strava, and enjoy posting photos and videos of my furry companions, so if I walk with your pup, I would be happy to share photos if you ask! Last summer, I looked after my co-worker’s chickens and garden for a 3-day weekend, so I’m open to learning how to care for other pets beyond cats and dogs too! I am available for dog walking and drop-ins before 5pm on Mondays, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, and after 5pm Tuesdays and Thursdays. As for house-sitting, I am available most days as long as your pet is okay with being alone for a few hours! About: They say to do what you love and make a career out of it. I’m just grateful my career gets to be with dogs. I currently work at a doggy daycare/boarding facility in the area, so I am certified with dog and cat behaviors and have seen the ups and downs of our fur babies, and I am still standing here happy to tell you all about their stay/session. Pet care for me starts at dawn lol My pups come for cuddles and a potty break first sight of my eyes opening. Most of the time this does align with my schedule in the 6 am timeframe. Our family does always thankfully have one person home at all times, so while kennels are still utilized in our home for various situations, your pups can expect to stay in a home environment while here :) While I personally do not have a yard, my family does own large pasture fields and hills that we will typically walk daily. These colder seasons do affect how often we go out due to the snow and unplowed hills. However in that safe weather we make it a main priority to keep active with our pups to maintain a healthy and long life for them. Safety is priority number one. Thankfully my family is pretty much set up for success here. We are knowledgeable for food, behavior, and play safety with dogs and cats. Signs and symptoms of common issues with dogs and cats, based off personal experiences, and possible fears of what ifs, urinary cat blockages and bloat, or bloody stools. And while I understand dog body language and know how to avoid those tense situations dogs can create, I am incredibly quick to say when we are going to the emergency vet, gosh forbid.

I currently have two cats, Mochi & Boba, and a dog, Charlie. Charlie loves making new doggie friends and would be happy to join on walks/drop ins if your dog is friendly, but no worries if they prefer solo time! I love dogs of all shapes, sizes, ages, and breeds. Whether it’s a neighborhood walk, a trip to the park, or just some extra love and attention, I’m happy to give your dog the care they need! ❤️ I’m currently working part time so I’m pretty flexible! I’m most flexible on the weekends & evenings, but I’m happy to work with your schedule and find a time that works best for you & your pet. I’ll come to your home to check on, care for, and love on your fur babies! I will make sure they get plenty of love, attention, and playtime while you’re away.
