“Emma was awesome! She had our shetland sheepdog for over two weeks. We did a meet and greet to make sure everyone would get along. It went well and we were very comfortable leaving Nikki for a long time with Emma. Communication was fast for everything. Emma sent pics and an update almost everyday. Nikki was clearly enjoying herself. We would definitely have Emma dogsit Nikki again.”

“I was very impressed with Lisa. This was the first time boarding my dog anywhere. Lisa was very professional from the meet and greet to when my dog stayed at her house. Unfortunately I had to cut my vacation short but Lisa was very accommodating when I picked up my dog early. The best thing of all was that my dog Marnie loved her right from the start. She is a Miniature Pinscher and quite timid to most people she meets. I highly recommend Lisa and I will definitely take Marnie to Lisa's home again.”

“Refine and her family were great hosts! Communication was great and I felt comfortable leaving Blaze with them! If Blaze gets better with potty training I would love for them to keep him again! He was wore out coming home this morning for sure!”

“Karen took great care of our boy- very communicative and patient with his minor separation anxiety- if we find ourselves back in town we’ll be happy to work with her again!”

“Cheryl and Josh were great with our dog, Goldie. She got a lot of walks and we know she got a lot of attention and love. She came home exhausted. 😅 We will definitely trust Cheryl and Josh again for future dog watching!”

“Thank you Courtney for bringing my pup to the dog park for lots of play time! He was in great hands. I appreciated all of the pictures as well 👍🏼 highly recommend if you’re looking for a sitter in the Beaver Dam area.”

“We had never left our dog with anyone other than family, but Mary quickly felt like family! Our dog warmed up to her right away and almost seemed sad when we picked her up because she had so much love and attention given to her while we were gone! I would highly recommend Mary- her love for animals is very evident and she will treat your pet like it were her own!”

“Luana is loving caring individual and takes pride in taking cate of your fur baby making sure my dog was a priority. Sends great pictures to provide updates. I will definitely recommend.”

“Kota took on my 13 week old puppy and I am so pleased with how well my puppy did at her home! Kota snuggled and loved and cared for her like she was her own! She communicated daily and sent the cutest pictures! I give my highest recommendation to her! So much better than a kennel when you need boarding! Your pet will be welcomed into their home and treated like a family member!”

I’m comfortable with feeding routines, administering basic care, supervising playtime, and making sure pets feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. “Rebecca and her family took such good care of our pets that we never had to worry that they were not loved & cared for. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a warm and friendly environment for their furry family member.”

“Sadie’s was a great pet caregiver to our 4 month old puppy. This was the first time we left him with someone for a few days, and, he loved it! She shared pictures throughout his stay of his playtime and nap time. He was a tired puppy when he came home. He will visit with her again!”

“My dog had a wonderful time at this house and I received many pictures of her having fun. The family was also accommodating to our needs when we had some trouble getting back at the time we predicted.”

About: Although new to Rover as a sitter, we've used Rover frequently for our boys. I've had pets (cats, dogs, fish) ever since I was 14. I don't have special certs but have done puppy classes and have successfully trained our dogs since! One being a Shiba Inu if you know how stubborn they are 😉. I currently have two bernese mountain dogs and love furry friends from small to extra large! I've done drop ins and in home in the past. Im currently mostly a SAHM! I am a RN but only work 16hrs a month. I will have ample time to be at home with all pets. I have a fenced yard (6ft chain linked) and two neutered boys to keep your pets company. I can also always go for walks, fill a small kiddie pool for the dogs to play in, and whatever else your pup enjoys! I can crate as well if need be and tons of pictures can and will always be sent.
“Ryan was very communicative with us during the time our two dogs stayed with him, and sent pictures over as well. The dogs were happy when we picked them up. I can tell that they were well taken care of when we were away. Thank you Ryan!”

“Jo was the perfect sitter for our dog! She went the extra mile by first having a meet and greet before hand to make sure that our dog got along with her sweet pup Jordy. Jo was extremely responsiveness and sent lots of updates and pictures of our dog. She even took her on walks which we greatly appreciated! Would definitely recommend Jo as a sitter. We'll definitely use her again!”

“Thank you so much to Lisa for taking such good care of my 16 year old cat. Knowing that VanGogh was in such good hands made my time away much more enjoyable and I came back to an apartment that was cleaner than when I left. I will definitely be asking for her help again in the future.”
“My two cats were well cared for by Tiffani. The photos she sent each day make me believe they were comfortable with her being there. I came home to find them fed and watered, and having been cleaned up after.”

About: I’ve had dogs and cats since I was young. I’ve walked, fed, bathed, helped train, and overall cared for animals. I have had experience with kittens/puppies and senior animals! I have watched family and friends dogs! I work part-time and my schedule is often different, but I am always free after 7 pm weekdays and 6 pm weekends. About: With around five years of hands-on experience in dog care, I’ve developed a deep understanding of how to give dogs the attention, patience, and love they deserve. For three years, I walked and sat for a dog every other day for elderly owners, which taught me how to connect with dogs of all temperaments and needs. In addition, I’ve raised my own Golden Doodle from 8 weeks old to 1.5 years. It wasn’t always easy, but through calmness, steady emotions, and consistent training, I’ve shaped her into the most loving, gentle, and sweet dog I know. I understand the importance of being gentle and patient, staying calm even in challenging situations, and creating a stress-free environment for dogs so they feel safe and comfortable. With me, your dog will get the best care possible, built on experience and a true passion for their well-being. As someone who manages an outdoor pool, my schedule is structured around peak hours, but I’ve found a perfect balance to incorporate pet care into my routine. I have flexibility during the early mornings, evenings, and off-peak hours, which allows me to give your dog the attention they deserve. Whether it’s taking them for walks, playing in the yard, or simply providing companionship, I make sure that pet care fits seamlessly into my day. My commitment to providing reliable and loving care never interferes with my responsibilities as a pool manager, as I’ve carefully arranged my schedule to meet both needs. Rest assured, your dog will receive the best of both worlds! When caring for your pet, whether in my home or yours, safety, trust, and environment are my top priorities. I always ensure a secure space, free from hazards, and follow all instructions regarding your dog’s routine, medications, and preferences to keep them comfortable and safe. I understand the trust you place in me, and I’m committed to building a strong relationship with your dog, treating them with the same love and care I would give my own. Whether in my home or yours, I create a calm and enjoyable environment, providing plenty of outdoor playtime and relaxation. My goal is to ensure your dog feels happy, secure, and loved, whether they’re in the comfort of their own home or mine. If they were to be at my home, they would get a very friendly play mate (my Goldendoodle 😊).
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for the past couple years for neighbors, friends and family where I’ve walk, fed, played and, bathe them. I’m currently working part time and free in most mornings and afternoons to take your dogs or puppies for a walks and playtime. I’m free most weekends if need someone for pet sitting. I can easily crate your dogs if it’s needed. I can also take them for long walks or to dog parks or pet friendly fenced in parks if they are nearby to keep your pet safe.

About: Love for animals! I believe animals should be treated with kindness, respect and love. I have raised, taken care of and babysat dogs, cats and other animals since I was young plus have been blessed with a variety of furbabies over the years. I am very patient and understand that each person/animal has their own way and schedule that I’m more then willing to learn. I would be very happy to spend time with your furbaby/furbabies playing, cuddling, feeding and/or walking... I don’t mind doing last minute appointments, helping with vacations or even just being someone’s back up person. We all need a little extra help once in a while. I have a lot of experience with cats also and would be more than willing to come to your house to feed, brush, clean the litter and play, to give them exercise. Same with birds or any small animals. Thank you for reading and I hope to meet your furbaby someday soon!!

“Kota was great with our pup Amelia. We hadn’t ever had anyone else watch her and kota definitely put my mind at ease by sending lots of pictures and updates. We aren’t from the area but if we are ever back we would definitely have her watch Amelia again. Also love that she has a fully fenced yard, huge plus and add more peace of mind.”

About: Hello! My name is Sadie. I’m a board certified behavior analyst who works with children on the Autism Spectrum. I have a soft spot in my heart for all animals- I was that child that stepped over ants to avoid squishing them. I grew up with a Springer Spaniel, cats, and a rabbit (: I currently have 3 cats, Nimi, Gizmo, Figarro, and a dog named Perci. Additionally, I have experience caring for ferrets, goats, sheep, and fish. I’ll treat your animals as my own, and show them endless love and care. I’m super excited to meet you and your animals! I currently work full time M-F, but do make my own schedule. I see a lot of my clients either before or after work. I also have weekends off! Meet and greets are important to me for boarding to ensure it’s a good fit for your dog. However, I understand if it is not feasible. I have a dog and 3 cats who are free to roam the house and are allowed on furniture. My dog sleeps with me so yours is more than welcome to join the snuggle party! I also have a daughter (3 years old) who loves her animals, so your fur baby will get lots of love from all of us.
“Preslie and her family were amazing and took such good care of our Ruby! They were so warm and welcoming, attentive and communicative. Our puppy came home happy and exhausted from all the fun playing with Kaiya. Highly recommend”

“This is the second time I’ve booked with Don for doggy daycare. He sends photo and video updates throughout the day and takes time to ensure my dog is having fun at him home! There is lots of space for him to run and play outside. Don is the best when it comes to communicating and caring for my pup.”

About: I have grown up around dogs my whole life and I've had my first (adult life) dog for three and a half year. Wila Rose is an Australian Cattle Dog mix. About a year and a half ago we added another rescue, Buckley Quinn. He is a smart but goofy boy. They both go backpacking with us and we do a lot of hiking on our local public land areas. We enjoy playing around in our yard with our limited dog agility set and learning new tricks. We occasionally go swimming but love jumping and exploring new water areas and hiking trails. Wila and Buckley are a huge part of my life. We enjoy hiking, being outdoor, and traveling as much as possible. We do quite a but of training included but not limited to: agility, scent training, shed training, and just some fun party tricks. I am new to Rover so please feel free to reach out with any questions. I have an acre of land (not fenced in). We love to go on walks and sniffaris at our local parks. Buckley loved to play with other dogs and Wila is more of a people dog. They even loves to go backpacking and hiking which often include 10+ miles a day.
“Mary was fantastic. I have never had to leave my dog with a sitter before so he is very attached to me. Mary was kind and made him feel at home and sent me lots of pictures so I knew he was happy.”

About: I have been around pets my whole life. Whether it was my family pet or a friend's I've grown up around dogs my whole life. Being allergic to cats, dogs were my only option. I currently have trained my own pup from the age of 7 1/2 weeks till now as well as helped friends in the past with their own dogs. So I am fairly proficient at training pups. I unfortunately don't have much experience with senior dogs but I would love to expand my skills. I am currently a stay at home mom to a wonderful 1 year old little girl. So short of errands I am always at home. Perfect for pets who cant be left alone for long periods of time. Our home has a very nice unfenced in yard. We do have long leads that will be utilized for bathroom breaks and outdoor play time. We also live about a mile from a very nice open dog park that with permission will be the perfect place for high energy running. All dogs will be supervised while outside and will also have my two pups to play with as well. Toys will also be available for all to play with. Kennels will be utilized when needed (kennels will need to be provided by the pet parents)
About: Dogs are a big part of our daily life. We have two of our own—a friendly Golden Retriever, Oakley, and a playful Bernedoodle, Teddy—so I’m very familiar with different energy levels, personalities, and routines. I have hands-on experience with: • Daily walks, playtime, and exercise • Feeding schedules and portion control • Crate routines and basic training consistency • Managing multiple dogs at once • Recognizing behavior changes and keeping dogs comfortable Because I work from home, your dog won’t be left alone for long periods. They’ll get consistent attention, outdoor time, and a structured but relaxed environment. We also have a fenced-in yard, which allows for safe play and movement throughout the day. Our home is set up to be dog-friendly, and I treat every dog like part of the family—while still respecting their routine so they feel secure. Flexible availability for mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends depending on scheduling. I work from home and can provide all your pets needs in our home. Calm, dependable, and attentive care Safe family environment with clear expectations Must be good with both children and other dogs Fenced yard for safe outdoor play Experience managing multiple dogs Regular communication and photo updates Focus on routine, safety, and comfort
About: I have taken care of many of my friends pets since I was 12 which includes staying overnight at their homes when they are gone for weeks. I do long and short care sitting for pets. I love to spend time with pets and making sure they get the care they deserve. I am currently not working right now but will have a part time job soon. I will talk with the owners and work out a good schedule that will work best for all. Growing up we have used an invisible fence and radio collars to keep our dogs in our yard. We made sure to check in on them periodically while they were outside. While I'm taking care of my friends pets, I would play inside and outside with them, go on walks with them, and make sure they get the best care.

About: My love and compassion for animals is what sets me apart from other dog sitters. From little on I have always had a pet to now having two very spoiled dogs of my own. I have worked with pets from all different sizes and ages. Pet care in my daily schedule is a priorty. Having two dogs of my own I know how important it is for them to exercise, whether it be going to the dog park, a walk in the neighborhood or playing in the backyard I will make sure your pets needs are met! As a dedicated dog sitter, I go above and beyond to provide personalized care tailored to your dog’s unique needs and personality. What sets me apart is my genuine passion for animals and my commitment to creating a safe, loving, and stress-free environment for your furry friend. I prioritize open communication with pet owners, keeping you updated with photos and messages so you can feel confident your dog is in great hands. Whether it’s extra cuddles, a favorite toy, or a specific routine, I ensure your pet feels right at home, even when you’re away. Your dog’s happiness and well-being are my top priorities!

About: I have a mastiff and lab at home so I'm comfortable with walking small or large breed dogs. I can do drop in or walking . Retired after 26 years of working in law enforcement and am much happier spending my days helping with pets. I have a very open and flexible availability. I am not able to care for your pets in my home due to my mastiff being extremely territorial. I am comfortable doing drop in care or walking your pets.
“Alyssa was great to work with. Great communication, was easy to schedule a meet and greet with, and everything went fantastic on the actual walk. She followed instructions, took lots of photos, and my dog seems to have enjoyed himself! Would definitely book again.”

About: “God speaks to the creatures through the creatures.” -Dr. Chase. “All you need is love.” -John Lennon. Plenty of love I have to give, but I also have the experience of 35 years as a science teacher. I’m well-versed in how animals like dogs and cats talk to us through their gestures. Dogs evolved with humans, and I understand that relationship and how dogs meet our emotional needs. Please read my first four reviews which I received from pet owners that I served even before signing up with Rover. The pet owner decides when treats are allowed, if table scraps are allowed, and how much food to give. The dog decides when it wants to go potty. 😉 Just in case, I usually take the dog out before it decides and always before any discomfort. Snuggles welcome. 🐾🥰😻 When serving you and your pet, I like to send pictures. We can also use FaceTime or Zoom to check in. 🐶🤩 At age 61, I’ve been a retired teacher for 3 years, and my activity level allows me to run or play with your beloved dog. In your home, I follow instructions and do the routine for your beloved just like you would. However, if I’m allowed to give more snuggles, or more walks, or more training than you normally have time for, I’m at your service.

“I did not know what to expect, being the first time I contacted a dog walker through Rover. Jessica exceeded all my expectations. She did a fantastic job with taking our dog out for 2 different walks (much longer than I expected) throughout the day. We appreciated the many updates; when she started and ended, during the walks, the pictures, messages, and the summary at the end. I would highly recommend her.”

About: I recently moved back to MI to care for a family member. I love caring for pets as well! I have had many pets of my own and multiple years of pet sitting experience. I’m currently work-from-home exclusively and can manage varied schedules. I love taking any length walk according to your preference. I’m also willing to just spend time around older dogs like my own who need companionship. I cannot care for any pets in my home but I am willing to follow your guides for safe experiences in your home and neighborhood.

About: I myself have 5 rats, otherwise my family has owned so many animals over the years. Like pigs, many dogs, cats, birds, and more! Personally, I thrive on communication and respect. I will always ask questions if I don't understand something and always try to make things right. I am a part-time college student, currently unemployed but searching for a job. So I have a LOT of free time, I barely have any dead set plans and when I do they aren't full-day. Fitting animals more into my life will help me be flexible and caring. Ill be able to strengthen my knowledge in each and every type of animal I'll come across and be able to care for them how they need it. I always clean up after pets, especially if theres a kennel, backyard area, and litter boxes. I'm willing to clean floors, and do tidying aswell. I'll play with the pet for awhile and comfort them, while giving them my full attention. I'm willing to do just about anything!
About: I have been dog sitting for any years now. My family and friends trust me to walk, feed and let out here dogs. I love animals and this job is my dream job to work with them and get paid for it! I currently work a full-time job so that is why I need at last 2 weeks in advanced so I can talk off of work if you need me all day or for multiple days. If I get enough clients I will be quitting my other job and can be more open! I do live in an apartment but do have a fenced yard. I also have a dog she is a 2 year old German Shepherd she is very friendly but kinda shy until she gets to know other people or other dogs, once she does she will have not problem play with your pup!

I am flexible and available to customize to your dogs needs. I offer long walks, feedings, and lots of love and company. My dogs Hudson and Sadie are my pride and joy. I spend a lot of time outside with them and inside enrichment toys and puzzles. Sadie is a Blue Heeler and she needs lots of mental stimulation. I also have a kitten named Oreo who thinks he is a dog. I work from home so I am home 90% of the time. Please feel free to message me and we can talk about your dogs needs. I can send you pictures throughout the stay if you would like as well. I am home 80% of the time. It is something I am passionate about and love. I also run a small business from home so never worry about your fur babies being alone. I have three dogs of my own so adding a few more to my daily routine makes it just a little more fun. I have a fully fenced in backyard. I have two of my own dogs to keep your animals active and playing. I do prefer the dog to be crated at night for their safety. I have an alarm system as well as outside video surveillance.

About: I have been around dogs my whole life and am now a proud owner for the past 1.5 years! I’m around 1-2 times throughout a typical work day to let my puppy out. She rules this house so no furniture or beds are off limits, which is extended to all the dogs that come into my home (I’ve recently become the extended family dog sitter due to my work schedule). Monday’s-Thursdays I am home 1-2 times during the typical work day for about a half hour each time. Fridays and weekends I’m typically home most of the day, maybe running errands here and there. Allie rules the house here! She is allowed on furniture and beds and this would extend to your baby too. We spend a lot of time outside with water always available and I’m always out with her. We have tons of toys and she doesn’t mind sharing them.

About: Hi! My name is Ryaan, and I’ve grown up with dogs and cats my entire life. Animals have always been a huge part of my family, so caring for them comes naturally to me. I also worked for several years at a doggy daycare and boarding facility, where I gained hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, administering basic care, supervising playtime, and making sure pets feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. Your pet will be treated like family in my care! 🐾 I currently have just a few 1 hour classes a week on just Mondays and Wednesdays and am home for the most part otherwise making me available for your pets. -fenced in yard -home frequently -able to provide long walks and lots of playtime -safe home (mostly pet proofed) -stairs are needed to be taken to get up to the house and down to the backyard
“Rebecca and her family took such good care of our pets that we never had to worry that they were not loved & cared for. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a warm and friendly environment for their furry family member.”
