“Please read! I will be there first to admit I was skeptical of using Rover. I carefully scanned through profiles of those willing to watch the two dogs we have, a Great Dane and a boxer. Cilyr was so much more than we could have asked for! She and I agreed having a meet and greet prior was a great choice to make sure the dogs would have an easier transition. Cilyr went to every length to ensure she had asked questions we may not have thought of: do the dogs have allergies? Require specific routines? But I was really blown away when she brought to my attention that she does not have a truck large enough for our Great Dane in the event he would need to get to a vet emergently however, she has already arranged with a friend and neighbor that she could borrow theirs should an emergency arise. I knew at that moment She was that absolutely perfect choice to watch our dogs. This was not just a” side gig” for her, she genuinely cares so much for animals and helping others! When I brought the boys back for their week long stay they took about a day and a half to fully adjust. I know this because Cilyr went above and beyond to make sure I knew the boys were doing well and sent pictures! It was so heartwarming to get those little messages and pictures and know our boys were in great hands. Through those pictures you could see our dogs easing into their day and feeling safe and loved. Before we had even returned from our vacation we had discussed that we will hands down take our dogs back to her any time we need to leave them. About: I don’t have any professional experience yet, but I’ve spent years walking and caring for a reactive pit bull. He has taught me how to read animal body language, and how to respond to it when he is uncomfortable or nervous. I am currently working part time. I am available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Friday and Saturdays after 4 PM. Thursdays and Sunday I am available all day. I usually have the first and last Saturday of every month off, so I am available all day. I do work at a restaurant so there is a chance my schedule could change. “Please read! I will be there first to admit I was skeptical of using Rover. I carefully scanned through profiles of those willing to watch the two dogs we have, a Great Dane and a boxer. Cilyr was so much more than we could have asked for! She and I agreed having a meet and greet prior was a great choice to make sure the dogs would have an easier transition. Cilyr went to every length to ensure she had asked questions we may not have thought of: do the dogs have allergies? Require specific routines? But I was really blown away when she brought to my attention that she does not have a truck large enough for our Great Dane in the event he would need to get to a vet emergently however, she has already arranged with a friend and neighbor that she could borrow theirs should an emergency arise. I knew at that moment She was that absolutely perfect choice to watch our dogs. This was not just a” side gig” for her, she genuinely cares so much for animals and helping others! When I brought the boys back for their week long stay they took about a day and a half to fully adjust. I know this because Cilyr went above and beyond to make sure I knew the boys were doing well and sent pictures! It was so heartwarming to get those little messages and pictures and know our boys were in great hands. Through those pictures you could see our dogs easing into their day and feeling safe and loved. Before we had even returned from our vacation we had discussed that we will hands down take our dogs back to her any time we need to leave them. The personal touches are unmatched to anything we’ve experienced in the past and we will absolutely recommend her every chance we get! Thank you Cilyr!”

About: Choosing who to leave your dog with is an important decision. We will treat your dog like part of our family so they feel relaxed, safe and comfortable. We live on 37 acres in the country, so there’s plenty of room for your dog to explore. We have trails where we can walk your dog on a leash and a fully fenced 1-acre yard for safe, supervised play or a snooze in the yard. Whether your dog is active or more laid back, they’ll have what they need in our home. Your dog will be included in whatever we’re doing inside, outside or around the property. Throughout the day and evening they get a mix of supervised indoor and outdoor time, leashed walks on our wooded trails and play sessions with toys, balls and frisbees. We also make sure they have plenty of quiet time to rest and relax. Each dog's activity is adjusted based on their energy level and needs - whether they’re active and playful or prefer a more laid back routine. We are both retired so your dog won’t be left alone for long periods of time. We follow your dog's normal routine as closely as possible including feeding schedules, rest time and any specific care instructions. We want them to feel comfortable, secure and settled while they’re here.
About: Dogs are my favorite people - I attract dogs wherever I go. I have owned two dogs in my adult life-English Bulldog and Goldendoodle. Currently, I have a 10 year old goldendoodle. She loves everyone. I am a teacher and have off during the summer. I enjoy hiking, camping, biking, running, reading, gardening, and cooking. I’m currently on summer break, so my days are very flexible. During the school year, I am available before 7am or after 4pm. I have a very friendly goldendoodle. I have a big yard. I am willing to provide lots of love, playtime, and walks for your dog. I can be active with your pet or sit with them and love them up. Whatever you need, I can provide.
