“Piper's stay with Lisa was great. Based on the photos and stories Lisa sent daily, I was doubtful that Piper would even want to come home again. Lisa's dog, Rio, was a fun playmate and they ran around her fenced in backyard all day. Lisa sent photos of Piper snuggling with her children during nap time. I have no doubt Piper was well loved and well cared for while we were away and I will definitely use Lisa again!”

I was really looking for a home with a family that would interact with her regularly, meet her high energy needs and be able to have her in a calm, family environment ~ they were excellent in providing our pup with everything we were hoping for, and they truly went above and beyond! We are so pleased with her stay; with it being our first Rover experience, we were very relieved with the overall experience, and highly recommend Rebecca and her family.”

“We could not have been happier with the care that Laura and her family provided for our 2-year-old Black Lab, Jewel, while we were in New York for five days. Laura checked in regularly and shared funny photos of Jewel clearly living her best life! Laura and her family went above and beyond—they even set up a small plastic pool, which Jewel seemed to thoroughly enjoy, along with plenty of playtime and frolicking with the children. Their fenced-in yard and quiet neighborhood provided a safe and welcoming environment. When our return flight was unexpectedly canceled and we needed to stay an extra day in New York, Laura was incredibly accommodating and flexible. We felt completely at ease knowing Jewel was in such good hands. I highly recommend Laura and her family to anyone looking for loving, reliable, and attentive pet care.”

Nikki was clearly enjoying herself. We would definitely have Emma dogsit Nikki again.”

“Diane and Dale went above and beyond to accommodate our schedule and care for Oliver. He fit right in with their dog, Lexi, enjoyed the walks around the pond and was well-loved. I highly recommend them!”

“Cindy and her family were amazing. I received daily updates while I was away and I could see that Cali was being completely spoiled❤️. I think Cali is looking forward to her next visit with Cindy and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone. I would give her 10 stars if I could ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

About: Hi! My name is Ryaan, and I’ve grown up with dogs and cats my entire life. Animals have always been a huge part of my family, so caring for them comes naturally to me. I also worked for several years at a doggy daycare and boarding facility, where I gained hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, administering basic care, supervising playtime, and making sure pets feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. Your pet will be treated like family in my care! 🐾 I currently have just a few 1 hour classes a week on just Mondays and Wednesdays and am home for the most part otherwise making me available for your pets. -fenced in yard -home frequently -able to provide long walks and lots of playtime -safe home (mostly pet proofed) -stairs are needed to be taken to get up to the house and down to the backyard

“Tammy was able to care for our cats with no issues. Weather was very hot when she cared for them and communicated with me about the temperature in the house and asked permission to open windows. Would definitely hire again.”

About: I have always had animals around in my life. Overall, I have had the pleasure of having 8 dogs, 2 rabbits, 2 guinea pigs, 1 hamster, and lots of fish (both freshwater and saltwater). Additionally, I have had the opportunity to care for the cats of family members. I have experience with: -Positive Reinforcement Training -Leash Handling -Muzzle Usage -Reactivity Training Guided by Licensed Animal Behaviorists -Veterinary Medication Administration Currently, I have one dog, Josie, who is an Australian Shepherd/Blue Heeler Mix. Josie is dog reactive, and I have spent an extensive amount of time working on her training and care. I am currently available to provide pet care Monday-Thursday from 4:30 pm - 9:30 pm. Oftentimes, I am also available to provide pet care at any time on Saturdays or Sundays. I have availability at any time during the day during these days in July 2026: 7/10, 7/11, 7/18, and 7/31. Since I have a dog at home who is anxious and reactive, I am not able to care for your pet in my own home; however, I would love to care for your fur baby where they are most comfortable -- in your home or in your neighborhood. I typically arrive with small treats in a pouch to share, ensuring my greeting is always positive. While at your home, I will ensure your pet receives exercise/play, multiple potty breaks, and refill water/food as needed. I believe in positive reinforcement, ensuring my interactions with your pet are always kind and respectful.

“Mya was absolutely wonderful! This was my first time using Rover and she went above and beyond any expectations! She cared for my animals so well and kept me updated which I greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend.”

About: I’ve been a dog owner since 10 years old and have not gone without mans best friend since! I currently live on 23 acres in the country and long walks and chasing balls packs in most of the day with my 4 dogs Jetta, Odie, Ruby and Rowley. All dogs are dog friendly and well mannered. Graduating puppy classes to canine good citizen classes, plus dabbling in agility and herding. I currently work Weekends Friday-Sunday and my week is filled with lots of outdoor time on my hobbies farm. Lots of free time during the week helps me have fun with my animals and enjoy the sunshine. All my pets are cat and dog friendly and have full freedom of the property. New comers are always on a 12 foot leash during playtime and walks, unless E-collar trained. When first meeting owners I go over your dogs recall manners and slowly introduce them to the pack on a long property walk. This helps incorporate pack leadership and expelling energy at the same time.
About: I have grown up around dogs my whole life and I've had my first (adult life) dog for three and a half year. Wila Rose is an Australian Cattle Dog mix. About a year and a half ago we added another rescue, Buckley Quinn. He is a smart but goofy boy. They both go backpacking with us and we do a lot of hiking on our local public land areas. We enjoy playing around in our yard with our limited dog agility set and learning new tricks. We occasionally go swimming but love jumping and exploring new water areas and hiking trails. Wila and Buckley are a huge part of my life. We enjoy hiking, being outdoor, and traveling as much as possible. We do quite a but of training included but not limited to: agility, scent training, shed training, and just some fun party tricks. I am new to Rover so please feel free to reach out with any questions. I have an acre of land (not fenced in). We love to go on walks and sniffaris at our local parks. Buckley loved to play with other dogs and Wila is more of a people dog. They even loves to go backpacking and hiking which often include 10+ miles a day.
“Kota was great with our pup Amelia. We hadn’t ever had anyone else watch her and kota definitely put my mind at ease by sending lots of pictures and updates. We aren’t from the area but if we are ever back we would definitely have her watch Amelia again. Also love that she has a fully fenced yard, huge plus and add more peace of mind.”

About: i’ve worked with all different size dogs, cats from different age ranges who need medication and lounge, and some others who need training and active walks! i’m currently not working many hours at my job and thought this would be a great way to spend my extra time spending time with animals ! I cuddle and play with my animals! i feed my dog twice a day, and let her outside about 7-8 times a day, unless she walks around with me outside! i give her treats, wash her, clip her toe nails, clean her face, etc.
“We reached out to Jessica to watch our (at the time) 9 week old goldendoodle puppy named Noodle and she has been fantastic with him! A little story to illustrate my point - when we first got our puppy, my fiance wanted him to stay home in a playpen while we were working and I insisted we hire a sitter. Now every time we take Noodle outside, he tries to take himself on a walk! It is obvious he loves his time with Jessica and she is great at communicating with us and reinforcing the training techniques we're working on. We will continue to book with Jessica as long as she will put up with Noodle.”

About: As far as experience goes there isn’t a time in my life I remember that I wasn’t caring for an animal. From reptiles, to rodents, to cats and dogs, I’ve had them all. From a young age I was taught responsibility and discipline when it came to caring for tiny creatures. Additionally for over two years I volunteered weekly at a local animal shelter. During this time I gained knowledge as to how animals interacted with one another, how to properly administer medication, warning signs to look out for, what to do in emergencies, and deeply studied animal behavior. To add on to that I am currently employed at a doggie daycare. During my time here not only have I gotten to widen my horizons when it came to taking care of animals but I have learned hands on how to bandage a wound, what to do in animal confrontations as well as how to handle the unexpected such as sickness or seizures. Additionally over the last 3 years I have volunteered at different animal welfare programs across the globe. These include Portugal, Puerto Rico, Tanzania and soon Hawaii. During this time I have not only seen hands on other cultures way of taking care of animals but also gained knowledge as to how to better the animal care I provide to clients. As I previously stated I currently am employed at a doggie daycare. Additionally I work at a bakery as well. My schedule changes weekly so it can be hard to give an exact time frame when booking. Typically I work up to 8 hour shifts. I typically prefer to stay in clients homes to keep their pets safe and happy in their own environment. I will be there in the morning before work, and will immediately come back when I get off as well as being there at night. I try to spend as much time as possible with the pets while you are away I typically only offer staying in the clients home and I am comfortable crating animals while gone. I always keep things like medications safely out of reach and secured. Additionally upon booking I typically ask about any health notes, allergies, or special needs as well as a good contact number for your vet in case of emergency.

About: I've been surrounded by animals my entire life and have years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages and personalities. I currently have four dogs and have helped care for many others through family and friends. I also grew up with cats, so I'm comfortable caring for both dogs and cats. Beyond caring for animals, I'm a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where I provide compassionate, dependable care to people every day. Being a CNA has strengthened my patience, attention to detail, and ability to stay calm and responsible in any situation which are qualities I bring to every pet I care for. I'm heading to the University of Minnesota Twin Cities this fall, and pet sitting is the perfect way for me to cover some schooling dues and spend time doing something I genuinely love. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, or simply having a calm and caring companion, I'll treat them like they're part of my own family. My goal is for you to feel confident knowing your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. I currently work part time as a CNA working second shift. So, I am always available until 2pm. But, catch me on a day I don’t work at the healthcare facility, and I’ll be free all day! Sometimes weekends can be hard, however I always find ways to make everything work out. As I live under my parents households still, I have two homes. One house has a large fenced in yard, with two friendly dogs that live there. The other home, has a large open field in the back, which unless the animal is off the leash trained, we have long leads for them to run free (ish). This home also has two even more friendly dogs who would love the company. Both of these homes are located in nice neighborhoods in the town of Plymouth.

About: I have 10 years of experience caring for pets, including dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I truly enjoy spending time with animals, making sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and love. Whether it’s energetic walks, playtime, or simply giving a dog some extra affection, I treat every pup like my own. I’m also comfortable with feeding routines, basic training, and caring for senior dogs or puppies I’m currently working part-time, so I have plenty of flexibility to care for pets. I’m available for morning, afternoon, and evening walks throughout the week. I love being outdoors and can easily adjust my schedule to meet your dog’s needs I provide a safe and loving environment for every dog. Walks are always on a leash, and I pay close attention to their behavior and comfort. At home, I make sure pets have fresh water, a clean space, and plenty of attention. About: I have grown up around cats and dogs my entire life. I enjoy spending time taking care of others. I am patient and compassionate, your pets well-being will be my #1 priority. I work part time as a CNA in a long term care facility. I am also attending college part time to purse a career in nursing. Over the years I have cared for numerous of my own cats and dogs. Simply by spending quality time with them every day, walking my dogs and cuddling with my cats. I know the importance of spending time with animals and I understand their basic everyday needs.
About: “God speaks to the creatures through the creatures.” -Dr. Chase. “All you need is love.” -John Lennon. Plenty of love I have to give, but I also have the experience of 35 years as a science teacher. I’m well-versed in how animals like dogs and cats talk to us through their gestures. Dogs evolved with humans, and I understand that relationship and how dogs meet our emotional needs. Please read my first four reviews which I received from pet owners that I served even before signing up with Rover. The pet owner decides when treats are allowed, if table scraps are allowed, and how much food to give. The dog decides when it wants to go potty. 😉 Just in case, I usually take the dog out before it decides and always before any discomfort. Snuggles welcome. 🐾🥰😻 When serving you and your pet, I like to send pictures. We can also use FaceTime or Zoom to check in. 🐶🤩 At age 61, I’ve been a retired teacher for 3 years, and my activity level allows me to run or play with your beloved dog. In your home, I follow instructions and do the routine for your beloved just like you would. However, if I’m allowed to give more snuggles, or more walks, or more training than you normally have time for, I’m at your service.
About: My family has had a dog since I was younger and I currently have a mini goldendoodle. I understand how keeping dogs happy and cared for is vital to ‘owners.’ I have a very flexible and open schedule! I like to take my own dog for longer walks to get energy out and relax our minds together. I love playing with them so they’re not just sitting around unhappy. It’s important to me to make sure all of their needs are met as I believe this affects longevity and overall well-being.

This means I have no issues with adjusting schedules even last minute. Need me to come earlier? Or come back when your flight is cancelled? “Piper's stay with Lisa was great. Based on the photos and stories Lisa sent daily, I was doubtful that Piper would even want to come home again. Lisa's dog, Rio, was a fun playmate and they ran around her fenced in backyard all day. Lisa sent photos of Piper snuggling with her children during nap time. I have no doubt Piper was well loved and well cared for while we were away and I will definitely use Lisa again!”

“Sparky had a great time at his overnight at Julie’s! He enjoyed playing with her other dogs and their toys. He loved all the attention and snuggles he got from Julie. I appreciated Julie’s proactive communication and all the pictures while he was there.”

“Emily and Bryan took wonderful care of our dog while we were traveling. They sent multiple updates throughout our trip which really helped put our minds at ease. We would definitely use them again in the future.”

“Cheryl was great with our dog Ellie and our cats! You could tell she really cared about our animals and took the stress of leaving them alone off of our plates. We will book with her again!”

“Our pup had a great stay with Rebecca and Matthew!

“Brittni & family were the best dog family we could ever ask for! Luna got along great with their dogs and kids. Brittni sent pictures of Luna with the family and out on walks. Highly recommend!”

“Roo had such a great time at Monique's! I love the doggy report card and the frequent updates. She has a great property for doggies to run around and have fun. I don't really think Roo wanted to come home.”

“I'm so happy we found Becky! My little dog has a few special instructions in his old age, so I really appreciate her care and attention. He was happy and healthy when I picked him up.”

“This was my first time using Rover. I was pleased to find an experienced host close to my home. Salena was good about confirming our logistics and sent a couple of updates during the stay. “Ryan was a great host to my two boys. He was great to work with and went the extra mile to help me out in a diffacult situation where I had to travel with very short notice for work. I would recommend Ryan to anyone looking to board their dogs and will be using him in the future again!”

“My dog had a wonderful time at this house and I received many pictures of her having fun. The family was also accommodating to our needs when we had some trouble getting back at the time we predicted.”
