About: Taking walks around my pond, lots of cuddles, and play will be enjoyed at my home. Open to working with your feeding schedule preferences for your pet. Weekends, I will be home more to play and cuddle. I work outside of home during the week, but in the evenings I will have lots of time to play and have fun. If you have a crate, I would love for you to bring it for the dog. This way, if I am sitting with multiple pets while I'm gone, they are safe. Also, I will always have a leash in my complex.

It was a rainy day, so there was probably lots of mischief going on inside her house. She sent pictures and videos of his stay with reassuring words as this was the first time we used Rover. Your pets will be the most important thing to me as I take care of them. I am available most week days and weekends, and am available for walks/outside time, whenever they need. I will walk, play with, and care for your pets throughout the day both while in my apartment with them, as well as in the yard. About: What sets me apart? When your pet is in my care (at my home or your own), I make them my priority from start to finish and treat them like my own. When guest dogs are staying in my home I sleep with them in our spare bedroom (no kenneling at night or during the day unless you request I do so) and if I'm house sitting you can rest assured that I will leave your home and pets as good or better than I found them. I never charge extra for walks, playing fetch, taking them on a car ride, or doing an activity they enjoy. I want your pet to feel like they're on vacation, too :) When I'm house sitting for a client I aim to be there the entire time, and since I work remotely (as long as you have quality wi-fi) I am able to work from your home - this means your pet gets even more time and attention, and if I do have to leave it will only be for a very short period and I will communicate this to you prior. If you do not need/want me there 24/7 we can discuss and adjust price based on what we agree upon during our meet and greet. I aim to be as flexible as possible to meet both your need and your budget... I know this is an investment! I am here because I love the idea of helping other pet-parents know their pets can be taken care of when they are busy or want to enjoy time away with loved ones. I am also here because anyone who knows me knows how much I love animals :) both my own and any animal I meet. I have experience with all sorts of animals and I'm equally as comfortable with both dogs and cats... big and small. I also have experience with tricky behaviors (aggressiveness, food guarding, potty training, learning to walk on a leash, teaching commands, etc.). I can administer medicine, communicate with vet offices effectively, and I am known for providing all of the updates/pictures/videos someone would like while I'm caring for their pet! For awareness, dogs and cats are kept separate in our home. We do this for safety :) There is an underground fence for our dogs and this is an option if your dogs are collar trained. If not, no problem - I am happy to take pets out on a leash. Safety is my top priority, so I will strictly follow the instructions given for your pet(s). When it comes to inside the home, I will closely monitor all play/interactions and if needed, I will separate and/or give primarily 1 on 1 time with your pet if that is what they require. Please note: if you live more than 45 miles from my address I do charge a 1x flat fee of $50.00 while house sitting. My name is Nikki, i grew up with all different kinds of animals and have volunteered with the humane society for many years. I specialize with helping feral/aggressive animals when i can find the time. My mother calls me the animal whisperer 😊 My husband Ben and i will take jobs together so we have some more flexibility. He also grew up with animals, he has specialized with training huskies in the past. We have an 11 year old daughter that loves to help play with animals. Even in youth she has had a lot of experience with animals and is very respectful and patient. One of her favorite activities is to exercise with animals, so occasionally if I am watching an animal that is good with kids and requires exercise, I will bring her along to join in the fun! (With your permission of course) We have have 3 fur babies of our own, Gypsy, Mila and Blu 😊 My husband and I work 8AM-4:30 Monday-Friday and have weekends off. We will need to schedule around our work during the week, but our weekends are usually open! I give all animals the amount of affection and time they need. An animal will tell you how much or little attention they would like, you can hear it through their reaction to you. Patience is always a must. I have taught my daughter this as well. You cannot properly care for an animal unless you understand their personality.

About: I’ve grown up with many different kinds of animals from dogs to bunnies & hamsters. I’ve also been around cats my entire life we just never had one in the house because my mom was allergic. I love animals as they have been my entire life growing up! I have been dog sitting for a year now, since January 2025 Pet care takes place in my everyday life because I have an 8-year-old dog and just got a puppy recently.
