“Karen was great to work with. Very open for a meet and greet prior to having our Barley stay there. She allowed Barley to wander in the fenced in area to familiarize himself. Barley wasn't afraid of her, in fact walked right up to her for petting. She was great in letting us drop off 1/2 hr earlier than expected as was ready for our vacation earlier. Arrived home earlier in the day than we thought so was great with letting us pick up Barley a day early. Karen said she would go on Rover and adjust days for a refund...I declined and said enjoy it as a tip. He was a tired but happy dog when we picked him up. Thank you Karen.”

About: I've taken care of and owned many dogs over the years. I have had pets all of my life, dogs, cats, fish, turtles, guinea pigs...you name it! Neighbors, friends and family have continuously entrusted my wife and I to care for their pets. We will board only one family’s dog(s) at a time so you can be sure they get the attention they need. Our four kids are age 7-13 and will also provide extra attention and playtime for your dog. With six in the household you can rest assured knowing your dog will have attention at all times. Our 4 acre yard provides ample space for leashed exploring and there is abundant wildlife in the area providing new smells to investigate. Your dog will be walked a minimum of once in the morning and once at night with bathroom breaks every 2-4 hours or as needed. During the week my wife and I have the ability to work from home to provide care for your dog during the day. We do require dogs to potty trained and not have a history of aggression. They also need to be trained to not chew on non toys unless they are still puppies which we fully understand and can work with! We look forward to having an opportunity to meet you and keeping you pets well loved! No matter what our day looks like, there is always someone available to provide the attention and consistency of car for your dog(s), which is the number one priority. We also have a furnished basement that can be closed off if needed. Or a quiet capped garage and workshop room depending on the sleeping arrangements your dog is accustomed to. If you could please let me know of any special needs your dog may require or want.

I’ve provided both day and night care, and handled meals, walks, potty breaks, medications, and cleaning. Hello!! I am a soon to be stay-at-home momma who will have lots of available time to watch/play with/or walk your furry friends! I currently have a dog and a cat of my own but they are very friendly and loving with all animals big or small. I would love to board your animals in my home! But, they must be friendly with both dogs and cats as I have one of each who are very sweet and get along with everyone! All supplies will need to be dropped off with your furry friend as well as I don’t have extra kennels (if your pup uses one) or extra supplies.

About: I grew up in a household filled with pets ranging from dogs and cats to turtles and birds. Taking care of animals has never been a chore to me, but a way to connect with them and enjoy their company. I am currently a student with a part-time job but am looking for an additional side job to occupy my time. I am available Thursday afternoons, weekends, and late nights. I am very respectful of individual needs and desires. I care that each animal receives the specific care it requires to stay happy and healthy.

About: I am a very positive and outgoing person. I believe in the old-fashioned way of doing things and treating people. I have lots of experience taking care of numerous cats and dogs. I grew up living in the country and we always had lots of outdoor cats and a couple inside. Learning what treatments to give them and the right kind of food is very important to me. Along with this I have had a couple of dogs. Taking time on walk every morning was the best way to start my day. I currently have a puppy so I am very fresh on puppy training and tricks. I have an open schedule Monday through Friday and some weekends depending on what is going on. I currently travel with my boyfriend who works on the road so I have lots of time to spend with your furry friends. I will always keep a close eye on your pet as if they are my own. They are just as important as young children and must be watched and played with as such.

About: I have a 2 year old aussidoodle, she is fixed, potty trained, and she’s super friendly! My cats old and inside cat her name is piper! I work a lot but I’m normally available depending on the day and time. You just message me and I can make something work! I’m pretty flexible. It would be nice to have a 2 weeks notice! My dog Oakley is a cattle dog so therefore she needs walks a lot. My family owns a private camp grounds, so if your dog has a lot of energy let me know I bet I could make something work!

About: I have pet experience ever since I was 5. I have experience with puppies, adults, and seniors. From small dogs to a great danes, i can care for any dog. Im able to take care of your animals in the morning and at night for the most part. I work midday shift mostly, some mornings. I have a 12 year old pug named Charlie, I make sure he gets what he needs, expecially since he has mobility problems. I can do pretty much anything, feeding, play time, walks, baths, ect.

About: I've helped my parents take care of my family dog for almost 16 years now! 1-2x/year I farm-sit for my aunt's 6 horses as well as 4 outdoor kitties and 2 indoor kitties for 5-10 days each. I started working for Rover when I was waiting for my state licensure to be approved to start working in my career field. Now, I am currently working full-time as a physical therapist, which keeps me busy. I do love spending time with animals though, so I'm willing to help out with some lower commitment animal care tasks. I think it's important for animals to have as much consistency as possible, so please let me know specifics for your pet (i.e. meal times, training commands, etc.).
