“David was/is amazing! Why? He was responsive and accommodating. His extensive knowledge of dogs was clear when we met him - we knew our pups were in good hands. We received daily updates and in each photo the dogs looked like they were having the time of their lives and/or taking a nap on David’s lap 😂. We live downtown Madison and I could tell our pups enjoyed the beautiful country property as they came back tired and content! “Amber was amazing! Her and her family helped take great care of my 3 month old pup for a few days while we were in the process of moving. She was super accommodating and helpful, taking him in just hours after us contacting her very last minute while stressed trying to figure out what to do with him. Taking in his “puppy shenanigans” and all like he was one of her own. Amber made sure to keep me updated about how his was doing helping to ease my mind of having him away from home for the first time. Sending me pictures/videos and messages about how his day was going. She also took the time to make sure that my pup was comfortable and entertained. Taking him on walks and being able to run around and play in the yard. Letting him go at his own pace and doing what made him feel safe when he didn’t like the rain or was was scared by her dog at first (he wasn’t the biggest one around anymore and couldn’t terrorize/annoy every living thing like he normally likes to do). She even went the extra mile to wash his bed after an accident over night and have him and all of his stuff packed up nicely and ready to go for me when I got there. My little boy loved playing with her and her family. And having the other dogs around for him to interact with was a bonus. When I tell you he was so excited when he first met them that I didn’t even get a second look over the shoulder or a goodbye before he took off to play with one of the kids ? (I’m still emotionally processing his betrayal ?). I could not recommend Amber enough! Your pet will be greatly taken care of (Not to mention worn out….he’s been napping since the moment we put him in the car) and all of your worries will fade the moment you get there.”

About: Grew up with dogs and cats my whole life. Started pet and house sitting in my early teen years for dogs of all shapes and sizes as well as cats, fish and turtles. Additionally, I have a degree in animal and dairy science and spent half a year as a veterinary assistant at a clinic. I work a full- time job that is typically 8am-4:30pm with some earlier mornings and nights as needed. But schedule can be somewhat flexible to fit your needs! I’d love to care for whatever your pet needs, walking, playing, feeding or just spend some time with them. I’m comfortable taking care of any special needs for your pets as well such as treats, meds, crating etc. and always making sure they are safe, secure and well taken care of!

Have experience in giving vaccines(IM or SQ), oral meds, and basic care. I have since moved onto a new adventure in lawncare. I have been around dogs my entire life. I grew up with a German Shepherd, a purebred Samoyed, and a tabby cat. Currently, I have 2 beagle-shepherd mixes, Hunter and Holmes, who are 2 of the sweetest boys you will meet. My pups are loved, cared for, and happy when they are there, and tired when they come home and that makes dog momma heart happy!!! They are always accommodating when I have last minute schedule changes and also when I need to have them stay overnight!! I also get regular pictures and behaviour updates and those are so appreciated as well! About: I have grown up around dogs my whole life and I've had my first (adult life) dog for three and a half year. Wila Rose is an Australian Cattle Dog mix. About a year and a half ago we added another rescue, Buckley Quinn. He is a smart but goofy boy. They both go backpacking with us and we do a lot of hiking on our local public land areas. We enjoy playing around in our yard with our limited dog agility set and learning new tricks. We occasionally go swimming but love jumping and exploring new water areas and hiking trails. Wila and Buckley are a huge part of my life. We enjoy hiking, being outdoor, and traveling as much as possible. We do quite a but of training included but not limited to: agility, scent training, shed training, and just some fun party tricks. About: Although new to Rover as a sitter, we've used Rover frequently for our boys. I've had pets (cats, dogs, fish) ever since I was 14. I don't have special certs but have done puppy classes and have successfully trained our dogs since! One being a Shiba Inu if you know how stubborn they are 😉. About: Hello I have been taking care of all sorts of pets since I was very young! I have experience with potty training, crate training, walking, and lots of play time. I also can give any puppers bath if need be. I also have experience with cats and many other small animals. I am free all week as I stay home with my 4 kiddos. I have 2 young kids that are 2 and 3 years old and my other 2 are 9 and 12. I always make sure that my pets and anyone else's pets are fed at a certain time, made sure they get their walks and exercise, but also make sure they get their cuddle time as well. I also make sure that they have water on hand at all times.

About: I have always had a dog growing up, so I learned from a very young age how to care for a pet. Friends and family have trusted me to take care of their dogs since I was around 12 years old. This includes stopping in the house to take them to the bathroom and feeding them, as well as giving medication if needed. Lots of snuggles and playtime too of course! I have taken care of dogs in the client's home for up to a week and cared for them at my home as well. No need to worry about any complex feeding schedules. I can manage it all. I am very comfortable with any age, breed, and sized dog! I have a one-year-old pup, so I am very familiar with training and puppy classes. I have volunteered at the humane society and when I was in high school, I job shadowed at a veterinary clinic. I currently work as a substitute teacher so my schedule is extremely flexible! During the summer months I am completely open. Weekdays and weekends any time of day. I make my own schedule so there will be no conflicts. I have a fenced in backyard with plenty of space for some off leash playtime! My dog loves to run around playing fetch with a ball or stick. I have a walking path across the street from my home and am walking distance to nature hill for some extra exercise. I always have water, waste bags and small treats with me when going on walks. (My dogs personal favorites are cheerios). I am comfortable walking with any leash, collar or harness. I have two kennels in my living room if your dog needs to be crated. At least one crate is big enough to fit a large or XL dog. I have a baby gate in front of my stairs, and the basement door is always shut. I personally love going to the pet store or drive thru to get my pet a pup cup! I would be more than happy to take your dog for an adventure and for some extra love and enrichment!
About: Agnes Mable, my dachshund of 12 years taught me patience better than anyone. I love spending time cuddling, giving belly rubs, sniffling frito feet, & running around the yard chasing them like a screaming banshee. I stay at friends & neighbors houses frequently when they're away to watch their dogs, cats, & fish. I also have friends & neighbors dogs over for weeks at a time. I've been doing this the since moving back to Wisconsin in April 2024. I love taking care of pets like their my own. Once I have a fenced in yard, I will welcome another dachshund into my life, but until then I fill my cup with caring for other's doggos & kitty cats. I'm excited to meet you! Extra treats for pugs & extra belly rubs for the heavy weights that can fetch & return! I work from home & the days I'm traveling for work will be unavailable to book. We'll spend all day together! I've got a spacious yard, large back deck that gets direct sun light for the one's that like to bake, & if they get along with other dogs, sometimes I walk over to my sisters with them to meet my favorite pug, Potato! I live in a duplex on the bottom floor so it's easy in & out, no stairs. My yard is massive with lots of plants & trees to sniff around. I'll always take my fur friends outside on a leash. I do have a small crate available for dogs under 15 pounds, toys, treats, & extra leashes just in case you forget something. Most importantly, I have a big lamby & a small lamby.

About: I’m a huge dog lover and I’m living in a non pet friendly apartment so I need some puppy time. I love the outdoors, so getting your dog outside is the best of both worlds for me. I also love running and would be happy to run your dog if you’d prefer that. I walked my neighbors dogs in high school and I’ve had dogs all my life. I work full time so I’m really looking for weekend gigs, but I’m also free most weekdays after 4:15. I can also do early mornings but it would have to be in Beaver Dam from 5:15-6:15 Not looking to dog sit, but I’d be happy to sit down and have a conversation with anyone who is concerned about the safety of themselves or their dogs.

About: I have grown up around cats and dogs my entire life. I enjoy spending time taking care of others. I am patient and compassionate, your pets well-being will be my #1 priority. I work part time as a CNA in a long term care facility. I am also attending college part time to purse a career in nursing. Over the years I have cared for numerous of my own cats and dogs. Simply by spending quality time with them every day, walking my dogs and cuddling with my cats. I know the importance of spending time with animals and I understand their basic everyday needs.

I currently own two of my own, a lab and a pittie, they are the light of my life and I cannot wait to treat your pet just like my own. I also just graduated from nursing school and moved back to the area from Milwaukee. I am currently looking for a nursing job but currently have many available days! I can come to your home at any time of the day and love to go on long walks! I can take your pet on long walks and let them out whenever needed. About: As far as experience goes there isn’t a time in my life I remember that I wasn’t caring for an animal. From reptiles, to rodents, to cats and dogs, I’ve had them all. From a young age I was taught responsibility and discipline when it came to caring for tiny creatures. Additionally for over two years I volunteered weekly at a local animal shelter. During this time I gained knowledge as to how animals interacted with one another, how to properly administer medication, warning signs to look out for, what to do in emergencies, and deeply studied animal behavior. To add on to that I am currently employed at a doggie daycare. During my time here not only have I gotten to widen my horizons when it came to taking care of animals but I have learned hands on how to bandage a wound, what to do in animal confrontations as well as how to handle the unexpected such as sickness or seizures. Additionally over the last 3 years I have volunteered at different animal welfare programs across the globe. These include Portugal, Puerto Rico, Tanzania and soon Hawaii. During this time I have not only seen hands on other cultures way of taking care of animals but also gained knowledge as to how to better the animal care I provide to clients. As I previously stated I currently am employed at a doggie daycare. Additionally I work at a bakery as well. My schedule changes weekly so it can be hard to give an exact time frame when booking. Typically I work up to 8 hour shifts. I typically prefer to stay in clients homes to keep their pets safe and happy in their own environment. I will be there in the morning before work, and will immediately come back when I get off as well as being there at night. I try to spend as much time as possible with the pets while you are away I typically only offer staying in the clients home and I am comfortable crating animals while gone. I always keep things like medications safely out of reach and secured. Additionally upon booking I typically ask about any health notes, allergies, or special needs as well as a good contact number for your vet in case of emergency.
About: I have helped my family take care of our pets almost my whole life! Since moving out I’ve had my own pets (cats and dogs). I understand the importance of giving your pet attention while you’re gone, since they could be stressed with the change in routine! I’m a farm girl at heart! I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, sheep, ducks, chickens, cows, pigs, rats, hamsters….you name it! I work from home so I’m available to spend time with your pets throughout the day! As long as I have access to Wi-Fi I can work from anywhere! I am comfortable with crate training if your pet needs it. I follow direction very well so just leave me with a detailed note on how things run and I’ll keep it as consistent as possible for your pet!
About: I’ve been around animals my whole life, growing up with dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, fish, and even a tarantula, animals have always been such an important part of my life. Even though they can’t talk, they quickly become your best friend and constant companion. I believe every animal deserves to be treated with love, kindness, and the best care possible, no matter their age, size, or breed. Over the years, I’ve gained experience with everything from training playful puppies to helping care for senior dogs, including giving medications and basic health care. I also adopted my two kittens when they were just four months old, and they’re now happy, healthy three-and-a-half-year-olds. I always make sure fresh food and clean water are provided, with bowls cleaned regularly to keep everything sanitary. Whether it’s brushing, playing fetch, going on nice long walks, or just giving them lots of attention and love—your pet’s happiness and care are my top priority! I make sure that my cats home environment is safe for them to roam and not get into too much mischief. Water bowls are cleaned. Food is rotated. Pee pads are changed out and litter is changed once a month while cleaning litter box out daily. I am sure that my cats live in a safe environment and are happy and healthy.
About: I myself have 5 rats, otherwise my family has owned so many animals over the years. Like pigs, many dogs, cats, birds, and more! Personally, I thrive on communication and respect. I will always ask questions if I don't understand something and always try to make things right. I am a part-time college student, currently unemployed but searching for a job. I have experience with senior dogs that require daily care (medications/baths/eye and ear cleaning) as well as animals still in training. If boarding at your home I’m also willing to help with gathering mail, watering plants and other small household needs. About: I have been around dogs my whole life and am now a proud owner for the past 1.5 years! I’m around 1-2 times throughout a typical work day to let my puppy out. She rules this house so no furniture or beds are off limits, which is extended to all the dogs that come into my home (I’ve recently become the extended family dog sitter due to my work schedule). Monday’s-Thursdays I am home 1-2 times during the typical work day for about a half hour each time. Fridays and weekends I’m typically home most of the day, maybe running errands here and there. Allie rules the house here! She is allowed on furniture and beds and this would extend to your baby too. We spend a lot of time outside with water always available and I’m always out with her. We have tons of toys and she doesn’t mind sharing them.

We received daily updates and in each photo the dogs looked like they were having the time of their lives and/or taking a nap on David’s lap 😂. We live downtown Madison and I could tell our pups enjoyed the beautiful country property as they came back tired and content! “Amber was amazing! Her and her family helped take great care of my 3 month old pup for a few days while we were in the process of moving. She was super accommodating and helpful, taking him in just hours after us contacting her very last minute while stressed trying to figure out what to do with him. Taking in his “puppy shenanigans” and all like he was one of her own. Amber made sure to keep me updated about how his was doing helping to ease my mind of having him away from home for the first time. Sending me pictures/videos and messages about how his day was going. She also took the time to make sure that my pup was comfortable and entertained. Taking him on walks and being able to run around and play in the yard. Letting him go at his own pace and doing what made him feel safe when he didn’t like the rain or was was scared by her dog at first (he wasn’t the biggest one around anymore and couldn’t terrorize/annoy every living thing like he normally likes to do). She even went the extra mile to wash his bed after an accident over night and have him and all of his stuff packed up nicely and ready to go for me when I got there. My little boy loved playing with her and her family. And having the other dogs around for him to interact with was a bonus. When I tell you he was so excited when he first met them that I didn’t even get a second look over the shoulder or a goodbye before he took off to play with one of the kids ? (I’m still emotionally processing his betrayal ?). I could not recommend Amber enough! Your pet will be greatly taken care of (Not to mention worn out….he’s been napping since the moment we put him in the car) and all of your worries will fade the moment you get there.”

About: I have grown up around dogs my whole life and I've had my first (adult life) dog for three and a half year. Wila Rose is an Australian Cattle Dog mix. About a year and a half ago we added another rescue, Buckley Quinn. He is a smart but goofy boy. They both go backpacking with us and we do a lot of hiking on our local public land areas. We enjoy playing around in our yard with our limited dog agility set and learning new tricks. We occasionally go swimming but love jumping and exploring new water areas and hiking trails. Wila and Buckley are a huge part of my life. We enjoy hiking, being outdoor, and traveling as much as possible. We do quite a but of training included but not limited to: agility, scent training, shed training, and just some fun party tricks. I am new to Rover so please feel free to reach out with any questions. I have an acre of land (not fenced in). We love to go on walks and sniffaris at our local parks. Buckley loved to play with other dogs and Wila is more of a people dog. They even loves to go backpacking and hiking which often include 10+ miles a day.

“I was very impressed with Lisa. This was the first time boarding my dog anywhere. Lisa was very professional from the meet and greet to when my dog stayed at her house. Unfortunately I had to cut my vacation short but Lisa was very accommodating when I picked up my dog early. The best thing of all was that my dog Marnie loved her right from the start. She is a Miniature Pinscher and quite timid to most people she meets. I highly recommend Lisa and I will definitely take Marnie to Lisa's home again.”
