“Our 9 month old Golden Retriever puppy had such a good time at David's house that she didn't want to leave! I could tell she had lots of active play time because it takes a lot to wear her out, and she was really tired when we got home. I appreciate David's flexibility with drop off and pick up times, the special attention he gave our puppy, and the pictures that he shared throughout the day. David's location is an easy drive, a few miles off the highway, and the perfect setting for dogs to play and explore. I'm a worrier by nature, but I felt very comfortable leaving my sweet pup with David. We hope to take our puppy to David's house again the next time we leave town!”

“Amber was amazing! Her and her family helped take great care of my 3 month old pup for a few days while we were in the process of moving. She was super accommodating and helpful, taking him in just hours after us contacting her very last minute while stressed trying to figure out what to do with him. Taking in his “puppy shenanigans” and all like he was one of her own. Amber made sure to keep me updated about how his was doing helping to ease my mind of having him away from home for the first time. Sending me pictures/videos and messages about how his day was going. She also took the time to make sure that my pup was comfortable and entertained. Taking him on walks and being able to run around and play in the yard. Letting him go at his own pace and doing what made him feel safe when he didn’t like the rain or was was scared by her dog at first (he wasn’t the biggest one around anymore and couldn’t terrorize/annoy every living thing like he normally likes to do). She even went the extra mile to wash his bed after an accident over night and have him and all of his stuff packed up nicely and ready to go for me when I got there. My little boy loved playing with her and her family. And having the other dogs around for him to interact with was a bonus. When I tell you he was so excited when he first met them that I didn’t even get a second look over the shoulder or a goodbye before he took off to play with one of the kids ? (I’m still emotionally processing his betrayal ?). I could not recommend Amber enough! Your pet will be greatly taken care of (Not to mention worn out….he’s been napping since the moment we put him in the car) and all of your worries will fade the moment you get there.”

Our dogs are crate trained for this time as well, though not always done. We have two friendly, though large dogs to keep yours company. We also have 2 cats, but can be placed in a different area of the house as needed. Have 2 meal times per day and can adjust to fit needs. Always have water available and frequent outside time.

About: Hi ! As I am home for summer , I would love to be able to watch any animals , any size is okay ! I have grown up with large dogs most of my life but I am okay with any size and age. I am a college student athlete at Winona State University going into my Junior year next semester! I am also a nanny in the summers so I am very flexible when it comes to times or days ! About: Grew up with dogs and cats my whole life. Started pet and house sitting in my early teen years for dogs of all shapes and sizes as well as cats, fish and turtles. Additionally, I have a degree in animal and dairy science and spent half a year as a veterinary assistant at a clinic. I grew up with a German Shepherd, a purebred Samoyed, and a tabby cat. Currently, I have 2 beagle-shepherd mixes, Hunter and Holmes, who are 2 of the sweetest boys you will meet. We are often outdoors taking our daily walk, hiking local state parks, camping, or just working in the yard. I have always loved being around animals, especially dogs, and find that having them brings such happiness to life. The boys and I are together daily. I currently work typically Mondays thru Fridays sometimes varied or longer hours. However, we always make time to go for a walk daily, and on the weekends typically are out exploring. Hunter gets meds twice a day in a pill supplement as well as I trim their nails and baths occasionally. I currently rent a duplex that has a fenced backyard, and also have a spare bedroom and wire kennel if needed. About: I have been around pets my whole life. Whether it was my family pet or a friend's I've grown up around dogs my whole life. Being allergic to cats, dogs were my only option. I currently have trained my own pup from the age of 7 1/2 weeks till now as well as helped friends in the past with their own dogs. So I am fairly proficient at training pups. I unfortunately don't have much experience with senior dogs but I would love to expand my skills. I am currently a stay at home mom to a wonderful 1 year old little girl. So short of errands I am always at home. Perfect for pets who cant be left alone for long periods of time. Our home has a very nice unfenced in yard. We do have long leads that will be utilized for bathroom breaks and outdoor play time. We also live about a mile from a very nice open dog park that with permission will be the perfect place for high energy running. All dogs will be supervised while outside and will also have my two pups to play with as well. Toys will also be available for all to play with. Kennels will be utilized when needed (kennels will need to be provided by the pet parents)

About: I have grown up around dogs my whole life and I've had my first (adult life) dog for three and a half year. Wila Rose is an Australian Cattle Dog mix. About a year and a half ago we added another rescue, Buckley Quinn. He is a smart but goofy boy. They both go backpacking with us and we do a lot of hiking on our local public land areas. We enjoy playing around in our yard with our limited dog agility set and learning new tricks. We occasionally go swimming but love jumping and exploring new water areas and hiking trails. Wila and Buckley are a huge part of my life. We enjoy hiking, being outdoor, and traveling as much as possible. We do quite a but of training included but not limited to: agility, scent training, shed training, and just some fun party tricks. I am new to Rover so please feel free to reach out with any questions. I have an acre of land (not fenced in). We love to go on walks and sniffaris at our local parks. Buckley loved to play with other dogs and Wila is more of a people dog. They even loves to go backpacking and hiking which often include 10+ miles a day.

I have foster dogs in the past, and watched others dogs for an extended period of time and I love all types of breeds. But Big dogs have my heart. Your dogs will be pampered and can be on the couch, bed, or dog bed. We have an enclosed deck perfect for sun bathing pooches or those who love to sit in the cold (like my Newfoundland). Potty breaks will be leashed to ensure the safety of your beloved dog. I work from home so my schedule is pretty flexible on how to care for a dog. Unlimited potty breaks if needed. Live in a quiet neighborhood with sidewalks. I can provide a pick up and drop off service if you need it. Any dog in my home will be treated as if they were my own. About: I have been around dogs my whole life and am now a proud owner for the past 1.5 years! I’m around 1-2 times throughout a typical work day to let my puppy out. She rules this house so no furniture or beds are off limits, which is extended to all the dogs that come into my home (I’ve recently become the extended family dog sitter due to my work schedule). Monday’s-Thursdays I am home 1-2 times during the typical work day for about a half hour each time. Fridays and weekends I’m typically home most of the day, maybe running errands here and there. Allie rules the house here! She is allowed on furniture and beds and this would extend to your baby too. We spend a lot of time outside with water always available and I’m always out with her. We have tons of toys and she doesn’t mind sharing them.

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life, growing up with dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, fish, and even a tarantula, animals have always been such an important part of my life. Even though they can’t talk, they quickly become your best friend and constant companion. Over the years, I’ve gained experience with everything from training playful puppies to helping care for senior dogs, including giving medications and basic health care. I also adopted my two kittens when they were just four months old, and they’re now happy, healthy three-and-a-half-year-olds. I always make sure fresh food and clean water are provided, with bowls cleaned regularly to keep everything sanitary. Whether it’s brushing, playing fetch, going on nice long walks, or just giving them lots of attention and love—your pet’s happiness and care are my top priority! I make sure that my cats home environment is safe for them to roam and not get into too much mischief. Water bowls are cleaned. Food is rotated. Pee pads are changed out and litter is changed once a month while cleaning litter box out daily. I am sure that my cats live in a safe environment and are happy and healthy.

About: I myself have 5 rats, otherwise my family has owned so many animals over the years. Like pigs, many dogs, cats, birds, and more! Personally, I thrive on communication and respect. I will always ask questions if I don't understand something and always try to make things right. I am a part-time college student, currently unemployed but searching for a job. So I have a LOT of free time, I barely have any dead set plans and when I do they aren't full-day. Fitting animals more into my life will help me be flexible and caring. Ill be able to strengthen my knowledge in each and every type of animal I'll come across and be able to care for them how they need it. I always clean up after pets, especially if theres a kennel, backyard area, and litter boxes. I'm willing to clean floors, and do tidying aswell. I'll play with the pet for awhile and comfort them, while giving them my full attention. I'm willing to do just about anything!
About: I recently moved back to MI to care for a family member. I love caring for pets as well! I have had many pets of my own and multiple years of pet sitting experience. I’m currently work-from-home exclusively and can manage varied schedules. I love taking any length walk according to your preference. About: I have always had dogs in the household ever since I was born. More specifically my family had my sister and I grow up around Black Labs the entirety of my life. Neighbors as well as my immediate family have relied on me to take care of their animals. Whether it be a short walk or staying with them for an extended period of time, I was their guy! I have an extremely open/flexible schedule. I am self employed so I pretty much choose when I want to work my other job. Taking care of animals via Rover will take top priority unless my job situation changes. If that occurs I will make sure to update my profile accordingly! I have no other animals/roommates in my apartment. So your dog/cat will get all the undivided love and attention they deserve while you're away. Same rules apply if I am asked to dog/cat sit at a clients home!
About: I've had dogs my whole life! Most have been middle size dogs - lab mixes, etc. I have experience with taking care of all size of pets though.I also walked dogs at a local humane society until I adopted my own bundle of joy! I have dog sat for all different sizes and types of dogs and genuinely enjoy being around them. Like I said above - I sometimes prefer dogs over people haha! I would love to get back into walking and socializing dogs looking for good homes! I love being able to help them find new homes! I just have a connection with dogs and love being around them! “Our 9 month old Golden Retriever puppy had such a good time at David's house that she didn't want to leave! I could tell she had lots of active play time because it takes a lot to wear her out, and she was really tired when we got home. I appreciate David's flexibility with drop off and pick up times, the special attention he gave our puppy, and the pictures that he shared throughout the day. David's location is an easy drive, a few miles off the highway, and the perfect setting for dogs to play and explore. I'm a worrier by nature, but I felt very comfortable leaving my sweet pup with David. We hope to take our puppy to David's house again the next time we leave town!”

“Amber was amazing! Her and her family helped take great care of my 3 month old pup for a few days while we were in the process of moving. She was super accommodating and helpful, taking him in just hours after us contacting her very last minute while stressed trying to figure out what to do with him. Taking in his “puppy shenanigans” and all like he was one of her own. Amber made sure to keep me updated about how his was doing helping to ease my mind of having him away from home for the first time. Sending me pictures/videos and messages about how his day was going. She also took the time to make sure that my pup was comfortable and entertained. Taking him on walks and being able to run around and play in the yard. Letting him go at his own pace and doing what made him feel safe when he didn’t like the rain or was was scared by her dog at first (he wasn’t the biggest one around anymore and couldn’t terrorize/annoy every living thing like he normally likes to do). She even went the extra mile to wash his bed after an accident over night and have him and all of his stuff packed up nicely and ready to go for me when I got there. My little boy loved playing with her and her family. And having the other dogs around for him to interact with was a bonus. When I tell you he was so excited when he first met them that I didn’t even get a second look over the shoulder or a goodbye before he took off to play with one of the kids ? (I’m still emotionally processing his betrayal ?). I could not recommend Amber enough! Your pet will be greatly taken care of (Not to mention worn out….he’s been napping since the moment we put him in the car) and all of your worries will fade the moment you get there.”

About: I have grown up with all kinds of animals, dogs being the main one. Love carin for dogs and always making them feel loved, even when owners may have to be away. What better way to spoil your pet then to make sure they have a great day too! I am the kind of person that would go to a party and hang out with the dog. Hope to talk to you soon. ? ❤️ We are a working household but have staggered start and end times so very little time is left alone. During that time dogs can remain out if possible or can be crated. Our dogs are crate trained for this time as well, though not always done. We have two friendly, though large dogs to keep yours company. We also have 2 cats, but can be placed in a different area of the house as needed. Have 2 meal times per day and can adjust to fit needs. Always have water available and frequent outside time.

About: Hi ! As I am home for summer , I would love to be able to watch any animals , any size is okay ! I have grown up with large dogs most of my life but I am okay with any size and age. I am a college student athlete at Winona State University going into my Junior year next semester! I am also a nanny in the summers so I am very flexible when it comes to times or days ! I am also a nanny in the summer which means I have can have very flexible hours ! I am also very active, walks, runs etc. I have a fenced in yard and a pool !
