“We had a great experience with Kellene taking care of our pup. She was very responsive before and during the stay, and sent many updates/photos. Ozzy and coco got along great and it was nice to have a meet and great before to make sure the stay would go well. She treated Ozzy like her own pup and took him for walks, lots of play time and cuddles. We couldn’t ask for anything more!”

“She is absolutely the best sitter I’ve used. Her children and her dogs were perfect for Zoe. She has a large fenced yard giving Zoe lots of room to play. I think Zoe thinks I’m totally boring now. LOL I’m so grateful Rebecca sent me updates and pictures. She’s the best!”

“Mary was very welcoming, communicative, and friendly during my dogs stay at their home. My dog absolutely loved to run around in their big yard and relax inside on the couch. Mary sent me Photos/videos multiple times a day which was much appreciated. Would be happy to book again!”

“I have a special-needs dog that is blind, and due to loss of sight struggles with other dogs only because he can’t see them coming. Tracy watch Dover Rocky and make sure he was OK with all the other dogs and then sent me some of the cutest pictures of him just relaxing little notes telling me he was getting along with a dog that barked at him earlier. I’m never left Rocky with any other person other than family. Tracy is not part of that family.”

“This was my first time using Rover and I could not be happier! Dawn and her husband were wonderful sitters. My dog, Jax, was obviously comfortable within minutes of walking in the house. Through out his stay Dawn would send pictures so I could see for myself how ‘chilled’ Jax was. I highly recommend Dawn and would definitely leave Jax in her care again.”

About: I have had a deep compassion for all animals my whole life, wanting nothing more but for them to be happy. When your furry family members are with me, safety and entertainment will be of top priority. Giving love is second nature to me and I will be at full attention with your dog. Fun and exercise with plenty of fresh air guaranteed! I have specific walking routes to know where your pet will always be at all times , and communication will be as frequently as desired. Pictures will be posted regularly. Part of how I reach maximum comfortability for your dog is by using famiar language (commands) and learning it's habits and rituals. Everything has a personality and I try hard to learn what your dogs is like. Last but not least, I am all breed friendly!
“I recently adopted my dog Bruno and he still can be a little skittish at times. When I went on vacation I didn't want to have to board him at a kennel where there might be a little too much simulation for him. Nikki and her family were perfect for him. He stayed with them for a week and I'm confident he was well taken care of because when it came time to pick him up he almost seemed hesitant to leave with me lol. Could tell he was comfortable in the house which says a lot. Will definitely be using Nikki again. Thank you!”

“Leandrea did a superb job with my kitty Sunny! I was anxious about leaving him due to him just having surgery a couple of days prior, but I was immediately put at ease with her quality of care! I would recommend her to anyone looking for care for their pet! I will definitely be booking for all my pet needs in the future! Thank you for being so wonderful!”

“Rosie interviewed Nicole in a Meet and Greet and I heard Nicole say we will get along just fine! And I could see that and it happened! Nicole went out of her way to pave the way for being with Rosie. She wanted to know her habits, asked about brushing her and wanted to know my needs for updates. I felt very comfortable leaving Rosie in Nicole’s care. And from the updates I could tell Rosie felt comfortable with Nicole. I will definitely call upon Nicole again! She cared, was dependable and easy to work with. I may even book a play date for Rosie knowing how they got along. Glad to have River!”

“I enjoyed the photo updates everyday showing Merlin doing his favorite thing, people watching on the porch. I wasn’t worried about my kitty while away.”

About: Hi, I’m Ashling! I love all animals, and cats hold a very special place in my heart. I’ve been caring for cats since middle school, when I started out as the go-to neighborhood cat sitter. Today, I am the first-choice caregiver for my family and friends whenever they travel and need someone to keep their kitties safe, comfortable, and content. I understand that cats are creatures of habit and can be sensitive to changes in their environment or routine. My primary goal is to minimize their stress and ensure they feel secure while you're away.

“Mallory did a great job checking in on our cat Marvin while we were away on vacation. She provided great updates with photos every visit, and was very professional & communicative overall. Thank you Mallory!”

“Kristine was awesome with my cat Winnie. She can get scared with new faces but Kristine was kind and gentle with her. 10/10 would book with her again!”

“Sarah is awesome! I recently adopted a very high maintenance half Persian cat. I had to leave town to visit family for 4 days. I found Sarah on Rover based on reviews. She came to meet my cat and his routine. She came to the house daily when I was gone. She very willingly, happily, and efficiently followed a long list of to do things (meal times with specific types of foods, food puzzles, setup automatic feeders, play time, litter box maintenance, etc) I Sarah went above and beyond to make me feel better about leaving my cat behind home alone for the first time. She did a wonderful job at taking care of the cat and making him feel safe and loved 🥰 I highly recommend Sarah with your fur babies!”

“I was nervous about leaving my sweet cat Danger for a 2.5-week trip because she’s such a lover and needs her cuddles and affection. However, my nerves were eased with Maiah :) Danger adored her, and I thoroughly enjoyed and looked forward to all the updates from their visits. I will definitely work with Maiah again in the future!”

“Lilly was fantastic! As far as the basics go, she was reliable and had excellent communication. But the real standout is that she took the time to not only take care of basic needs, but also spent time trying to bond with our cat. I was amazed that she was able to convince our shy, scaredy cat to come out for petting and attention! You can tell Lilly really cares about pets. I would absolutely recommend her and would book her again.”

About: Nothing probably sets me apart from other sitters. I always carry a mini journal and pen around with me to jot down notes or things I need to remember, especially if there are specific instructions, like dietary or playtime needs for pets. I usually am the one who takes my family dog for a walk every day since I'm the only one in my family who has the most amount of free time on their hands. If I ever dog sat for a friend's pet in my home, I usually don't really change my routine but add the necessary care requirements for both dogs. When I'm staying over at a friend's or family member's house while watching their pet, I still do a similar routine when I'm at home, but I stay on high alert and make sure I don't leave snacks or anything I bring anywhere the dog can reach.

“Michele was great with Pekoe. His photos showed my stranger-averae parrot to be calm and happy. She did a great job respecting his space and personality while keeping his bedtime routine intact. I've already booked her for my next 2 trips. 🙂”

“Katie was great! Our cat Millie was very shy and hid a lot but Katie always found a way to snap a picture of her for us ;) She also took great care trying to integrate her into the new surroundings. Would 100% recommend her!”

About: I’m a cat-focused pet sitter who is comfortable caring for cats with different personalities, including shy or nervous cats who need patience and space to warm up. I pay close attention to each cat’s normal routine and behavior. During visits, I can handle feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, playtime, enrichment, and lots of companionship. I know how important it is for cat parents to feel updated, so I send photo updates after every visit.

About: I’ve never owned a cat as I used to be extremely allergic. As I’ve gotten older and I have multiple friends with cats, I’ve found out I am able to be around cats and love on them with just a daily allergy pill. With that, I’ve come to realize how much I truly enjoy taking care of them.
About: Hello! (Usually available after 5:30 pm during the week days and free on Fridays) My name is Stephane and I'm a project engineer in environmental science. I have had cats since my childhood, a mother, and a daughter I had the chance to live with for 20 years. Today, I have a cat I got from a refuge, called Juno. He was super shy and introverted due to his sad past but I can see a lot of progress in his behavior. He is some work but seeing him getting more and more free makes me happy. I have also always been with dogs and love to take them on walks and play with them. I took care daily of my roommate's dog (Kenny) in Toronto, taking him regularly on walks and dog parks. I live in North Water Street and can drive to your home to take care of your best friend(s). I'm also an aquarist and can look of your aquatic friends if you need it. I hope to see you soon and your best friend! I always start my day with a hello to Juno :) He usually comes to me claiming food like for having breakfast and we cuddle after. Which is a perfect start for having a good day. I will follow any instructions you give me to keep your pet routine as normal as possible. I will be respectful of your space and will always ensure that everything is closed and safe for your pet. I can send you updates with photos if you need them.

“Second week of doggy daycare for Penny and she loves her attention from Dan, Holly and whoever else can give her pets and love. She use to not care for other dogs but is starting to interact and play. My heart is happy for this wonderful place for my Penny.”

About: I owned a dog growing up and cared for and trained one with my family. I sit for friends and family from time to time and I love to play and take dogs for walks and, if they are able, runs of up to a few miles! I have a fenced in yard, and my kids (4, 8) are also great with animals. I work from home. With the exception of rare travel days, school drop-offs, and evening events, I will always be around the house to care for your pup. Your pet will get the attention it needs, as I work from home and I have a fenced in yard, as well as young boys that are great with animals. Frequent outside visits and play times are very doable.
“We are traveling and needed someone to watch Ginger for the day. Miranda calmed mom’s nerves down since this was the 1st time for this. Miranda gave us updates and the whole experience was delightful.”

“Jill was able to accommodate our request rather last minute and was communicative throughout. She gave our senior dog a wonderful day of companionship; we know she was well cared for and left very happy.”
About: I have years of experience caring for dogs and cats going back to childhood. I have been actively pet sitting for 5+ years and have experience with puppies and kittens, seniors, and pets with special needs. I have also cared for rabbits and am very flexible and willing to learn! I am a teacher, so I am free most of the summer to watch your pet and give them some love! September -May I am still available but with less flexibility I enjoy drop ins and walks so I can give pets attention and care while in their own comfortable environment. I can also watch dogs at my home for those who need overnight visits, but dogs MUST be cat friendly/neutral without history of chasing cats

“Markie and Logan came home smiling and tired, which is really all I ask. they had a blast playing with all of the other dogs, and Logan didn't want to come inside from Joe's back yard!”
“Our dog had an awesome day with Louise! She was great with little Stuart and so easy to work with for us. She accommodated a long day with our schedules and is so kind. She gave our dog personal care and very loving for our needy little puppy. We plan to book with Louise again, can’t recommend her enough!”

“Holly was so amazing in socializing my puppy. She was super timid and skittish around other dogs and Holly was so great in slowly getting her to be more comfortable around other animals. Will definitely rebook. She is attentive and flexible with scheduling.”

About: For over forty years we’ve always had dogs in our home. We have a sweet pitbull mix that we adopted last year. She came from a home with several dogs so she loves to meet and make new friends. We enjoy providing a good home to animals and we look forward to caring for your pets. Potty breaks can be provided every two hours. Your dog will have plenty of opportunities throughout the day to run, play fetch, or explore in our fenced backyard. We try to follow the same routine as you would for your pet at home. We only care for two dogs at a time as we have a dog of our own. The dogs have free run of the house if the owner doesn’t specify otherwise.
“Kait was a pleasure to work with! She was very good at communicating, sent excellent pictures and was not shy to ask questions about Maya’s care! Her and her precious Zelda welcomed my Maya with open arms and warm hearts 😁 I HIGHLY recommend booking with her! We will definitely be back!”

“Amazing communication and pictures throughout. Soba had such a great time hanging out with Tracie and Penny! She was totally pooped from all the fun we had by the time we got home. Would definitely bring soba back without hesitation.”

About: I love dogs and animals - they really are the best! I have owned three for many years, raising two from being puppies, and addressing challenging behavior with an older doggo, in addition to fostering multiple rescue dogs. I recently moved to WI, and my pets stayed home with my partner for now, and miss my furry companions and want to provide love and care for yours while I’m here! I am happy to work with you on what’s best, whether that is house sitting, boarding, or simply letting your animals out on walks or to go potty. Let’s chat! I currently work from home and have a remote job, so can provide your dog with any needs or attention that makes sense based on their schedule. I have some in-person meetings that occur throughout the week, and am generally around on the weekends regularly. If planning on boarding or daycare, I now live in a home with a nice backyard. I can easily crate, take out for potty breaks, etc. I am also mindful of dog reactivity regardless of my own or neighbor’s dogs.

About: Hi, I’m Ashling! Animals have been a central part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier, spent my teenage years as the go-to neighborhood babysitter and pet sitter, and today, I’m a proud pet parent to two wonderful Wheatens of my own. Because of my personal experience with dogs of all backgrounds, I understand that every animal is unique. My philosophy is to always meet animals where they are at—building trust at their pace while providing a safe, confident, and structured environment. I'm currently accepting weekday appointments for now and will accept some overnights and weekends. I have a flexible schedule at this point and will be able to care for pets multiple times throughout the day and night. I will treat your home and your pets with the utmost respect and try to follow the schedule and routine to make sure your pet is comfortable in their home while you're away. Their safety and comfort is my highest priority.
“I have had my sweet little dog for over 15 years. No one has walked her except for family members and the people at doggy daycare. She is also deaf and partially blind. So I was extremely nervous to have somebody else walk her. But this was perfect! Leandrea did a great job with Jolie! She was on time, didn’t mind Jolie dragging her around the condo building several times, and give her kisses. It was wonderful to hear and to see Jolie happy and excited in all the pictures.”

“Vanessa has been walking my dog regularly for several weeks now and I couldn’t be happier with her help. She’s been very patient and loving with my dog, flexible on the schedule, and provides great walk reports and pictures. Thanks, Vanessa!”

About: I have had dogs of my own since I was 9 years old. I LOVE dogs--especially small ones! I have trained all of my dogs. I board friends' dogs in my home all the time, and am now excited to move into boarding strangers' dogs here on Rover! I work full-time, a mix of in-office and at home. I work from home on Thursdays and have flexibility on Fridays, so it works best for me to be able to provide boarding on long weekends (Thursday-Sunday). I am happy to provide your pet with seamless care and match what they are used to in your home. I have a large yard and a quiet neighborhood. My home has many rooms and I have some gates so that I can separate pets if needed. I also have a puppy play pen for smaller/younger pups who need their own space.
“She is fantastic with Rooney!! So at ease knowing she is there to take care of my little sausage! Her attention to detail and the care she takes with him is very comforting! So very thrilled to be working with her!”

About: I have a way with animals. Pets that don't like people typically tend to be my best friends. I have always loved animals ever since I was little. My goal is to be friends with every animal I meet. You have fun and I will make sure your pet does as well. I work full time in sales, so I am quite flexible. I can typically work my schedule to fit around what I need to do. I am happy to drop in and hung out with your pet while you are away. I love to go for walks, so I will be happy to tire a pet out with some good walk time.
“Julie was great with my elderly dog! She was kind and personable and always cheerful! I appreciated her taking such good care of Rogue and walking her in treacherous conditions like ice and snow! I’d definitely recommend her and use her services again :)”

About: I’ve lived with cats and dogs of many different breeds, and loved them all. Let me help out with your pet and they’ll probably like me too! Currently I have sporadic trips planned until I start classes at the end of August, then my availability will greatly differ but I’m not sure of the exact hours. I can’t care for pets in my home due to one of my cats being very unfriendly, but I will take great care in your home if necessary!

About: My children and I love dogs! I have been around dogs my entire life. I had a dog growing up who I adored. She was part of our family so I do understand how important it is that you feel comfortable with your dog sitter while you are away. I live in West Allis in a 3 bedroom townhouse with a decent size unfenced front yard and several parks in the neighborhood that we go to often. I would love to provide a caring environment for your dog. I offer overnight stays in my home, drop in visits, and dog walking services. About: I’ve been a devoted animal lover and pet owner for as long as I can remember. From dogs and cats to caring for pets with unique personalities and needs, animals have always been a huge part of my life. Currently, I share my home with a lovable, mischievous hound mix who keeps me on my toes and a cat who completely stole my heart. A few years ago, I lost my soul dog, Jersey, and that experience deepened my understanding of the special bond we share with our pets. I know firsthand how difficult it can be to leave them behind and trust someone else with their care. That’s why I treat every pet as if they were my own—with patience, affection, attention, and plenty of love. Whether your pet needs a quick drop-in visit, playtime, cuddles, a walk, or simply a friendly face while you’re away, my goal is to make them feel safe, happy, and cared for. I also know how important peace of mind is for pet parents, so you can expect regular updates, photos, and communication throughout my visits. Because I work from home, I have a flexible schedule that often allows me to accommodate drop-in visits and pet care needs throughout the day. I’m committed to providing dependable, compassionate care and building a trusting relationship with both you and your pets. I look forward to meeting your furry family members and becoming someone you can count on whenever you need a helping hand! 🐾❤️ I work from home and have a decently flexible schedule. I have a young son and pets of my own but thankfully I share these responsibilities with my rockstar husband so I will be able to care for your fur babies. I understand that having a stranger in your home can be a little uncomfortable. I will 💯 respect your space and keep things clean in order for your while you are gone. Please let me know your preferences for my stay.

However, I never resist mingling with dogs whenever I can! I'm very experienced with caring for cats, including feeding, cleaning the litter box, etc. I am so open to home visits to check in on dogs as well as walk them. Outside of animals, I'm a pharmacist! Additionally, I love to travel, go to new restaurants, and cozy up with a good book. Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have! I'm currently working part time so I have plenty of time to check in on your kitties/pups! I also have tons of energy so I'm able to play with them as well. About: I’ve had pets my whole life, so I understand how stressful it can be to find someone to take care of your pets while you’re away or even just gone for the day at work. Our pets are the whole world to us so it’s important you find someone you trust. I hope that once you get to know me I can be that person for you! I have over 13 years experience as I have been around animals my whole life. I love learning their little personalities the things they love whether it’s going for a walk and they have a specific fire hydrant they always stop at or a specific toy at home they always love to play with. Currently I have a cat named Stella who has provided me lots of experience in anxious cats as well as in tricks on giving medication. I am currently a substitute teacher with the summer off so I can provide pop in visits throughout the week as well as the weekends! Safety of pets is my number one priority with your pets as well as my own. I will always care for your pet like they are my own when I am with them to ensure they have adequate care. I will get to know your pet and notice when things may seem off if they aren’t feeling well. I also maintain safety when walking with your pet and making sure to learn their temperament before walks as well.

“Scott was a wonderful sitter to our dog, Phoebe. Excellent communication, professional, and friendly. He sent us a few pics while we were away to let us know how she was doing, which I especially appreciated. Definitely recommend Scott, and his cute dog Lucy, to anyone looking for a sitter and a playmate.”

“Daniel and Holly continue to be amazing. They watch buster every time my husband and I go on vacation. They are flexible with time and dates, and buster is always so excited to see them again!”

“Wallen had such a good time ! He really enjoyed being with Zachary! They bonded instantly. He sent us pictures and updates. Its been over a year since wallen has been boarded and it’s always nice knowing your bay is so well taken care of”

“Wow! My boys had so much fun with Debbie! They’re small but they LOVE to hike and had a great time hiking with Debbie and her friends. Very grateful for her excellent care. We never worried about them while we were away. Debbie is definitely a 5 star pet sitter!”

“Joe was very responsive throughout the process and we had a nice meet and greet with our pup before a 5 night stay. We got daily communication and photos and it seems like our pup had a fun time. Would recommend.”

Thank you!”

“Jill was very welcoming to my high energy & anxious Dutch Shepherd that has never been boarded. She has a nice house and yard that allowed my dog to comfort and freedom she is used to. Jill spoiled my dog with love & attention she almost wanted to stay with her!! We will definitely use her again. Thanks Jill!!”

“So kind and accommodating. It was great that she had a dog as it helped mine feel at ease. Sara asked for a meet & greet to make sure we were on the same page. Thank you for taking him to the dog park, his favorite place to be. Will definitely ask to rebook with her if needed on my next visit. Thank you Sara!”
