“My partner and I wanted to spend a couple of hours on my birthday at some places that don't allow pups - after quick and easy communication with Michelle, we booked daycare with her. Our pup is very social with dogs and people but is always super cautious at first. When we dropped Navi off, she was a bit skittish and didn't really want to go in the house. This left us feeling a bit worried. However, Michelle immediately sent us an update with pictures after we drove away showing Navi explore the house and the backyard. About: My dog care history began when I was in middle school and became caretaker for my family dog, Charlie (a Shiba inu mix). I have walked and cared for dogs of many different sizes and all ages both in my personal life and professionally. I have over 3 years if experience at doggy daycares. In my personal life I have cared for my dilute tortie Smokie for 7 of her 8 years. I have also cared for reptiles and amphibians at the Urban Ecology Center and am trained to handle snapping turtles. About: I am a true animal lover at heart! My family always owned dogs growing up, I adopted my own, Bear, in 2017 and my cat Luna (aka Tuna) in 2021. After recently losing Bear unexpectedly, I’m hoping to help heal my heart and get some puppy love by offering walks and drop-in visits to your babies! Prior to adopting Luna, I offered in-home boarding for many years through Rover. Unfortunately she’s not a fan of having other dogs around, otherwise we’d still be offering that service. I also worked at a doggy daycare during college because I loved dogs so much, and I wanted to spend time with them even though I couldn't get one at the time. This obviously provided me with lots of experience in handling multiple dogs! About: I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life and love them so much that I decided to work at a Dog and Cat daycare and boarding facility. I’ve been working there for 3 years and have worked with all breeds and ages varying from puppies to seniors and love comforting them and making them happy while also making sure their parents know they are in good hands! I’m currently working part-time and my availability is flexible. I’m willing to make adjustments as long as I am notified at least 2-3 weeks in advance. Depending on the typical routine of the pet, I will follow it as close as possible to make them feel as comfortable as I can. About: I am a part time college student. I am going to school to get my ECE Degree. I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 10 by volunteering at humane societies and having my own dogs.
