About: I have 2 Maine Coon cats at home- and I dearly love them (more than most people) so much. I have always had a pet cat growing up and they hold a special place in my heart. One of my Maine Coons actually had FIP and was on a long journey of healing- and it now been cured for 2 years. About: Since I was a little girl I’ve always had the biggest love for animals of all kinds! I grew up on shows like “Dr. Jeff - The Rocky Mountain Vet”. It was my dream to be a vet;however, my lifestyle goals have changed, but my passion for animals hasn’t, so I decided to join Rover! I have had a variety of small pets over the years. My most recent companion was an African Pygmy Hedgehog, Hedgie, who I adopted when he was just a few weeks old. Unfortunately, Hedgie passed away a few months ago from old age, and since then I have been looking for some new fury friends. When I was younger I had two purebred pit-bulls and a rescue cat. As for my experience, I have been surrounded by animals of all kinds, specifically dogs and cats my entire life. I began dog walking and sitting for family and friends when I was in middle school. In high school I studied duel enrollment veterinary science at a trade school. Aside from the medical aspects, the curriculum focused on walking skills, proper collar/harness and leash usage, nutrition, microchip identification, grooming, oral hygiene, injection techniques, and oral administration of medications. In addition to my veterinary education, I have been a frequent volunteer at the Prince William County Animal Shelter for the past several years. I am currently a student at Howard University and my schedule allows for breaks in between my course work. I love going outside for long walks, especially around the Capitol and museums. Therefore, I am looking to enhance my walking experience with some new friends. I will not be offering any services in my current place of residence. I live on campus and large domestic pets are not allowed in university housing.

About: I have been pet sitting since the age of 13. I have been dog sitting since then and now have my own cats. I have cared for kittens- adult cats and puppies-senior dogs. I am a full time teacher so on weekdays, I am available after 3:30. On weekends, I am available at any time. I am willing to stay overnights at houses, do house visits, and do walks with the pups. Typically, if I am just checking in, I will make sure there is food and water, everything is clean, the pup/kitty is heathy, and spend some time with them. The amount of time and how things are done will also depend on the frequency and job situation.

About: I've grown up around animals my whole life, including horses, dogs, cats, birds, even miniature donkeys of all ages, and I've never gone a day with less than 8 pets! In addition to owning several loving pets, my mom and I have rescued many pets from unsafe situations and helped nurse them back to a healthy condition, which has given me experience with animals of all personalities, backgrounds, and needs. I've cared for dogs my entire life, and have experience caring for up to 5 dogs at once. I am very comfortable handling both high energy and more relaxed dogs, and I adjust my care to fit each dog's individual needs. My responsibilities have included feeding, walking, supervising playtime, bathtime, dispensing oral medication, and making sure each dog stays safe, happy, and well cared for. Back home with my parents, I have two loving dogs - Millie who is a highly energetic dog who can't get enough playtime and Fletch who just wants love and affection 24/7. About: I have been pet sitting since the age of 13. I have been dog sitting since then and now have my own cats. I have cared for kittens- adult cats and puppies-senior dogs. I am a full time teacher so on weekdays, I am available after 3:30. On weekends, I am available at any time. I am willing to stay overnights at houses, do house visits, and do walks with the pups. Typically, if I am just checking in, I will make sure there is food and water, everything is clean, the pup/kitty is heathy, and spend some time with them. The amount of time and how things are done will also depend on the frequency and job situation.

About: I've had dogs and other animals my entire life. I had big dogs growing up with Landseer Newfoundlands as well as corgis growing up. I have also had cats growing up until they passed. Lastly I worked and spent most of my summers out at the barn with the horses, and a variety of animals there. So, I have quite a variety of animal experience under my belt. I currently own a corgi that lives with me in my apartment. I currently work full time as an engineer Monday through Friday. Though, I work from home and work in the downtown area, so pretty flexible if needed downtown. I am also available to walk / take care of animals on the weekends. I have had dogs my whole life, I currently have a dog in my apartment that I take on frequent walks, and play with him.
