I had a situation where I was leaving out of town for over a week and had left my dog with a sitter, that sitter called me after an hour and said he’d severely injured himself and wouldn’t be able to properly care for my dog. I had a backup sitter that ended up not having availability for my dog either. I came to Rover right before boarding my flight and Hannah messaged me right back and agreed not only to board my dog for the entire time, but also pick her up from her previous sitter! I was completely over joyed with her attentiveness and care in such a stressful situation. About: For over forty years we’ve always had dogs in our home. We have a sweet pitbull mix that we adopted last year. She came from a home with several dogs so she loves to meet and make new friends. We enjoy providing a good home to animals and we look forward to caring for your pets. Potty breaks can be provided every two hours. Your dog will have plenty of opportunities throughout the day to run, play fetch, or explore in our fenced backyard. We try to follow the same routine as you would for your pet at home. We only care for two dogs at a time as we have a dog of our own. The dogs have free run of the house if the owner doesn’t specify otherwise.

About: Growing up my family owned a welsh springer spaniel. He was one of my best friends. I felt the same excitement he did when I walked in our front door to his excited jumping. After 13 years, he passed away of old age. Since then I have wanted to get a dog of my own, but I’m waiting until my husband and I get a house to take that step. In the meantime, I love caring for other family dogs. This is a super fun side job for me. I love all types of dogs, have experience with senior dogs, and am happy to care for more than one pet from the same home (whether they be cats, dogs, hamsters, fish, etc.). If your dog is nervous around new people, I will make sure to give them the care, attention, and space that they need. I always give frequent potty breaks, feed them at their regular time, and am very careful around doorways (so no one runs off on any solo adventures!). I had a situation where I was leaving out of town for over a week and had left my dog with a sitter, that sitter called me after an hour and said he’d severely injured himself and wouldn’t be able to properly care for my dog. I had a backup sitter that ended up not having availability for my dog either. I came to Rover right before boarding my flight and Hannah messaged me right back and agreed not only to board my dog for the entire time, but also pick her up from her previous sitter! I was completely over joyed with her attentiveness and care in such a stressful situation. She sent me lovely updates with pictures and even made a customized digital Christmas card with my pup on it! Hannah made sure my pup was safe and very well cared for and completely set my mind at ease! When I returned it was clear my dog was happy, healthy and had clearly been given lots of love and attention as a guest in Hannah’s home (: I will definitely use Hannah’s services again!”
