Communication was amazing from start to finish, and she was so flexible when our flights changed, which took a huge weight off my shoulders. She even sent pictures without us asking which we absolutely loved and really appreciated. Her kids and mother were incredibly kind and Riley also got along so well with their dog, Annalise. Riley isn’t around other dogs very often, so I was a little nervous, but they did great together and it made me so happy to hear how well she adjusted. Honestly, the whole experience felt so comfortable… like I’ve known them for a long time. That says a lot when you’re trusting someone with your dog. About: Cats have been my companion all my life.. a home is not a home without the pitter patter of little paws. Currently, my fur baby Millie is my only pet but have experience with dog and cat households. I know their needs and can establish a bond with cats easily. And I also know when they need space and just someone to be company without adding to their stress.
About: Grew up an animal lover with multiple dogs and cats over the course of my life. Long story short, I have experience with puppy life, shelter life, low energy, high energy, etc. I just love animals and look forward to taking care of yours I work full time as a school counselor but understand what it takes to be a healthy dog owner. This means a walk in the morning before I leave, a walk when I get home after work, and depending on a lot of other factors maybe one late maybe not. On weekends I'm a a homebody which is why I signed up for this. I will get out of the house to walk my girl or take her on an adventure to the dog park, trail walk, etc. Otherwise I like just hanging out and playing video games. My girl has a crate in the family room but I also repurposed a spare bedroom into a doggy friendly room. I wasn't using it for any reason so figured why not make it dog friendly for my girl and others. I also have a fenced in yard that I can easily let her and other dogs out. It is big enough to be able to throw a ball around as well.

At home, I’ve got my own little zoo—2 sweet cats, a bearded dragon, 2 geckos, 4 snakes, and an adorable mouse—so trust me, I’m no stranger to unique personalities and specialized care. My dog has been consistently going going there for a year and as a young doctor working up to 28 hours in a row, I would not be able to have managed without them! They are very flexible and truly do love working with dogs. Recently, my dog got very mambas colitis and needed to go to the vet twice. Initially I wasn’t able to take too much time off but thankfully Mike was there. He offered to even cook Whiskey boiled chicken and rice and even offered to come to the vet with us the second time because he was genuinely concerned as well. I have a very anxious dog, but have been able to leave him while on vacation and not worry because I was getting constant updates- both good and bad about how he was doing, how much he was barking, how he was pooping, etc. it helped me enjoy my vacation more. I board friends' dogs in my home all the time, and am now excited to move into boarding strangers' dogs here on Rover! I work full-time, a mix of in-office and at home. I work from home on Thursdays and have flexibility on Fridays, so it works best for me to be able to provide boarding on long weekends (Thursday-Sunday). About: I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life and love them so much that I decided to work at a Dog and Cat daycare and boarding facility. I’ve been working there for 3 years and have worked with all breeds and ages varying from puppies to seniors and love comforting them and making them happy while also making sure their parents know they are in good hands! I’m currently working part-time and my availability is flexible. I’m willing to make adjustments as long as I am notified at least 2-3 weeks in advance. Depending on the typical routine of the pet, I will follow it as close as possible to make them feel as comfortable as I can. I will keep them busy by going on walks or by playing with them, or if they have lower energy I’ll just make sure to give them extra attention.

I frequently sit my aunt’s beagle mix who’s just a little old pup that sparked my interest for pet sitting cuz it was so fun to have visits from him. He and my old dog are in a bunch of my pics. With all animals I just try to make them comfortable and let them feel at home.
About: Grew up taking care of animals — have always had dogs (big and small, puppy to adult) and grew up around a farm, so I am comfortable around different animals. I am familiar with their needs, behavioral queues, and differences. I work from home most days, so I could easily work from the hosts home, or host the dog with me (shorter periods of time). The dog can free roam in my apartment, there is no issues with furniture. I have enough space to play with them inside, and work flexibility to give frequent walks. I live in an apartment with a fenced in backyard. Other neighbors have dogs and regularly let them sniff around back there with no issue, though I would not leave the dog unattended back there and would opt for regular walks.

About: I have had dogs my whole life. My family currently has2 dogs and one cat now. I know how it feels to leave pets alone and need someone to take care of them so I thought this would be a good way to help others. I am a teacher so I have a lot of flexibility over the summer. I can be somewhat flexible during the school year depending on my schedule. I am home during the summer since I am a teacher. We have some short family vacations we take, but for the most part I am available. During the school year I am free on the weekends. Our yard is fenced, but my dogs and cat make our house full. I am happy to visit dogs or cats, walk and play with them, and do any other care they need.
