About: Hi! I would be an amazing pet sitter because I love animals. Ever since I was little I have had pets whether dogs, cats, ducks or turtles. I am currently in college and away from my dog Nalla so taking care of your pet would honestly be special for me too. One of the main reasons I am on rover is because I love to walk and hike and figured why not add a companion. Hi! I am currently on break from work and school so I can make anything work! I am available everyday of the week at any hours necessary! I sadly cannot have any pets in my home because I live in an apartment but I can take that out for walks in areas near me! About: I owned a dog growing up and cared for and trained one with my family. I sit for friends and family from time to time and I love to play and take dogs for walks and, if they are able, runs of up to a few miles! I have a fenced in yard, and my kids (4, 8) are also great with animals. I work from home. With the exception of rare travel days, school drop-offs, and evening events, I will always be around the house to care for your pup. Your pet will get the attention it needs, as I work from home and I have a fenced in yard, as well as young boys that are great with animals. Frequent outside visits and play times are very doable.

My own pup is a bit of an escape artist, so I am extra careful with doors, gates, and secure leashing practices. About: I have been around dogs my whole life and have had lots of experience with walking dogs of all shapes and sizes! I enjoy going for walks with dogs. I’m a high school teacher on my summer break, so I am available almost everyday at all times of day, especially mornings and mid afternoon around 3 or 4pm I love to take dogs on walks in different areas! For example, I love to walk the bike path, neighborhoods, the beach, parks, etc! Any environment works.

I have confident experience with reactive dogs and big breeds especially. I'm a part time barista, working mostly evenings, so morning and mid-day walks work best for me. I am available for night walks after work as well, if that works for your schedule. Weekend boarding is best with advance notice, as I occasionally pick up Friday and Saturday shifts at the coffee shop. I live on the second floor with access to a fenced in backyard. Hardwood floors in home. No kids or other pets of my own. I do have houseplants if your dog is sensitive to soils, fungus, or has a history of plant eating. Crating is an option I'm comfortable with if that's what helps your furry friend feel safe, though my ideal set up is to share my whole space and enriching lifestyle with your pup, or to visit them in their home where they're already comfortable. “Marilynn was UNBELIEVABLE with my dog!! He’s a difficult rescue and she was aware of it, but gave him a chance. He doesn’t tolerate other dogs, but by the end of his 24 hour stay he was playing in the yard with several other dogs (all larger than him). I was in shock. She is truly the dog whisperer and I’d trust Todd with her any time. Thank you so much, Marilynn!!!! You truly do love pets. ❤️”
