However, I never resist mingling with dogs whenever I can! I'm very experienced with caring for cats, including feeding, cleaning the litter box, etc. I am so open to home visits to check in on dogs as well as walk them. Outside of animals, I'm a pharmacist! I’m a high school teacher on my summer break, so I am available almost everyday at all times of day, especially mornings and mid afternoon around 3 or 4pm I love to take dogs on walks in different areas! For example, I love to walk the bike path, neighborhoods, the beach, parks, etc! Any environment works.
About: Hi there! I’m Karla DJ, your soon-to-be pet care companion! By day, I work at a desk with computers, so I cherish the breaks I get to spend caring for pets—it’s the perfect way to recharge! In my free time, I love DIY projects and training my own dog, Lola. I’ve been an animal lover all my life, growing up with two turtles, a guinea pig named Bobo, a Shih Tzu mix named Chucho, and a Pomeranian named Princess. Over the years, I’ve also been a rescue mom and the go-to dog sitter for friends and family. One of my favorite stories? While living in Houston, I met the sweetest rescue pup and instantly knew she was meant to be mine—that’s how Lola, my loving Carolina mix (and partner in crime!), joined my life. I'm a morning person and my day starts a 5am! With so much time I'd love to be more productive and help others with their pets. I have fostered special needs cats and dogs and do have experience in that area. My last experience was fostering a beautiful one eyed special needs pup who got adopted within weeks! I can't wait to start meeting new furry friends! I have a very flexible schedule! I am home all day as I work remote in Human Resources. I am available all day and have a very flexible schedule for last minute needs. I know that things come up with busy schedules and I am very accommodating for those last minute emergencies. I am home all day working and am available for frequent potty breaks or walks. I am very active as well and don’t mind longer walks with active dogs. I am available for walks or visits in a home. I’m also available for day care with my wonderful cockapoo - Johnny, who loves all animals. Open to bed cuddles if needed!
