“Laura was great! Our dog Dolly seemed well taken care of. Dolly got along really good with her labrador Diesel. He is a sweet boy. Highly recommend her and have scheduled for future plans. Theresa W.”

“Ashlee was great with my dog, Sariah! She sent updates with pictures throughout the weekend, which was much appreciated. We will definitely book her again when we need a sitter.”

“Marilynn was UNBELIEVABLE with my dog!! He’s a difficult rescue and she was aware of it, but gave him a chance. He doesn’t tolerate other dogs, but by the end of his 24 hour stay he was playing in the yard with several other dogs (all larger than him). I was in shock. She is truly the dog whisperer and I’d trust Todd with her any time. Thank you so much, Marilynn!!!! You truly do love pets. ❤️”

“Super happy with Ellie’s time spent with Stacey and her family! Appreciated the communication and pics throughout our time away, we could sense the love they gave our girl. Will book again!! 🙏🏽”

“My pup loves being sat by Daniel and all the other dogs. He eats well, plays safe and always has a good time. My pup returns home very restful and happy, I can tell he enjoys staying with Daniel. They provide a great sense of a home away from home for my pup.”

“Scott was very accommodating and communicative, we got several pictures and even a short video of our dog out playing in the fresh snow. Our dog has a fear of smooth floors and Scott was able to layout enough rugs and beds that Barley was comfortable. Will book again.”

“Zachary was great with my petsitting needs - especially given that I reached out for the first time within a week of needing the help. He fit me into his schedule for a meet n greet (which went really well), I really liked that he had a fenced in backyard. The stay was arranged for 5 days (I ended up coming back a day early and was able to pick him up early). Zachary provided updates early in the stay to let me know how my dog was settling in. Zachary was very responsive to my messages and was quick to reply. If you have a dog with separation anxiety (like mine), it was great that he lives in a house, so there were no wall neighbors (such as apartments) to worry about with any barking. If I find myself traveling for a few days again, I will definitely reach out to see if Zachary is available to watch my dog!”

“Becky was amazing with my dog, I left him for around 5 days and she updated me everyday regarding his stay. Her backyard was so amazing, my dog was out having fun with the other dogs under her care. This was my first time dog boarding and she made this process so smooth and stress free. Would definitely recommend her!”

“Thank you, Fernando, for babysitting Bud!! It was an 'all boys weekend' which is right up Bud's alley! He came home relaxed and is asking when he can come back for more of the same! Thank you, Mary and gang, for Always taking such good care of Bud. PS: Fernando, thanks for the walk around the block!!”

“Maria watched our two golden doodles while we were on vacation for a week. This is the second time we’ve used her and she’s always been great. She sends updates with photos/videos multiple times a day. I can tell our boys were well taken care of. Would definitely recommend.”
“Dawn and her family provided a comforting setting for our dog Astro. He was the only client they had for the stay which to us is just what he likes. He’s not much a social one, but tolerates well with other dogs if he has to! They paid Astro lots of attention when he needed it. Kept us up to date on anything that was important to tell us and sent pictures to show us he’s doing well! He’s pretty easy to take care of and not a trouble maker for anybody and he knew he was in good hands! Also, we liked that Dawn has a fenced in backyard! Big plus! Thanks again! Mike and Liz”

“Tracy was great with Hana and gave frequent updates and pictures. Tracy clearly has great experience taking care of dogs with all types of temperaments and I felt Hana was in great hands!”

“Our 11 month old vizsla puppy is a handful and Debbie handled him beautifully with training experience, understanding, and love. He received dedicated one on one care for the 6 days we were away on vacation and we couldn’t be more pleased. Her daily photo updates were comforting and thoughtful. We would love to have Debbie host our pup again in the future!”

“Would definitely book again with Jill in the future. She clearly loves dogs and has lots of treats and dog toys in her home. Our anxious pup warmed up to her quickly and came home happy. And she came in clutch for us and was able to take our booking on short notice when we really needed it. Would recommend to others looking for a dog sitter.”

“I had to board Daisy because I had surgery. Daisy was very much at ease at Sarah's home. Sarah shared pictures with me and reassured me when I said I missed Daisy. Silly me - little did I know Daisy had a great time :)”

“Kathy and Brad are the best! Kept in great communication while we were gone; we could tell Benjamin settled right in. We are so happy to have a new home away from home!”

“Joe and his wife are very nice people and did a fabulous job caring for our dog while we were gone. We received pics of Fizzy enjoying herself in the yard and lounging around the house. Would definitely book with them again.”

About: Hi, I’m Ashling! I love all animals, and cats hold a very special place in my heart. I’ve been caring for cats since middle school, when I started out as the go-to neighborhood cat sitter. Today, I am the first-choice caregiver for my family and friends whenever they travel and need someone to keep their kitties safe, comfortable, and content. I understand that cats are creatures of habit and can be sensitive to changes in their environment or routine. My primary goal is to minimize their stress and ensure they feel secure while you're away.

About: I’m a cat-focused pet sitter who is comfortable caring for cats with different personalities, including shy or nervous cats who need patience and space to warm up. I pay close attention to each cat’s normal routine and behavior. During visits, I can handle feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, playtime, enrichment, and lots of companionship. I know how important it is for cat parents to feel updated, so I send photo updates after every visit.

“Michele took such fabulous care of our babies! They can be shy with new friends, but warmed up to Michele so quickly - especially rare for our reserved calico. Rover cards were detailed and the photos were so cute! Highly recommend if you are seeking someone who will care for your pets like their own.”

“Berenice was consistent and kept my cats from guessing at what time they will eat and get some cuddles. I appreciate this because they do not like change. She communicated via Rover only which was a bit hard because of where we were so next time I will insist on getting texts instead if possible. She was also very responsive when I asked her to do something.”

“Nicole was wonderful with house sitting! She was extremely communicative and sent lots of pictures which eased our minds! We knew we left our girls in great hands, she consistently got our calico her pills and the kitties were played with tons. Nicole also left our house in pristine condition. She's the best!”

“Maiah helped me out on short notice and watched my cat, Patches. She did a wonderful job making sure she was taken care of while I was gone, and I look forward to scheduling with her again the next time I’m traveling. Thank you Maiah!”

“We couldn't have asked for a better rover sitter than Heather! She was incredibly caring and attentive, and we were so impressed with the beautiful, artistic photos she took of them! We also appreciated her proactive communication about any observations she made. Heather's genuine love for animals was clear, and our cats were happy and well-cared for in her hands. We would absolutely love to work with Heather again and highly recommend her to anyone seeking a responsible and thoughtful rover sitter.”

About: Hello! (Usually available after 5:30 pm during the week days and free on Fridays) My name is Stephane and I'm a project engineer in environmental science. I have had cats since my childhood, a mother, and a daughter I had the chance to live with for 20 years. Today, I have a cat I got from a refuge, called Juno. He was super shy and introverted due to his sad past but I can see a lot of progress in his behavior. He is some work but seeing him getting more and more free makes me happy. I have also always been with dogs and love to take them on walks and play with them. I took care daily of my roommate's dog (Kenny) in Toronto, taking him regularly on walks and dog parks. I live in North Water Street and can drive to your home to take care of your best friend(s). I'm also an aquarist and can look of your aquatic friends if you need it. I hope to see you soon and your best friend! I always start my day with a hello to Juno :) He usually comes to me claiming food like for having breakfast and we cuddle after. Which is a perfect start for having a good day. I will follow any instructions you give me to keep your pet routine as normal as possible. I will be respectful of your space and will always ensure that everything is closed and safe for your pet. I can send you updates with photos if you need them.

About: I’ve never owned a cat as I used to be extremely allergic. As I’ve gotten older and I have multiple friends with cats, I’ve found out I am able to be around cats and love on them with just a daily allergy pill. With that, I’ve come to realize how much I truly enjoy taking care of them.
“Courtney took wonderful care of our cat while we were on vacation. It was the first time we’d left Percy for so long so I had been a little nervous, but after meeting Courtney and seeing how much she loves animals I was sure he would be happy and safe. She kept in great communication with us, sending lots of photos and videos. She and Percy were best friends in no time! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for care for their pet ☺️”

“Courney was the absolute best. She helped me with more than just watching my animal. She helped bring in the mail when it got delivered and even went out of her way to get toys for my pet during Christmas time. She is an animal lover for sure. If there is anyone that I would rebook again with it would be her.”

About: I owned a dog growing up and cared for and trained one with my family. I sit for friends and family from time to time and I love to play and take dogs for walks and, if they are able, runs of up to a few miles! I have a fenced in yard, and my kids (4, 8) are also great with animals. I work from home. With the exception of rare travel days, school drop-offs, and evening events, I will always be around the house to care for your pup. Your pet will get the attention it needs, as I work from home and I have a fenced in yard, as well as young boys that are great with animals. Frequent outside visits and play times are very doable.

“Dan didn't mind my early drop off and definitely spoiled my puppy. He sent lots of pictures and gave great updates throughout the day. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.”

“Yshonda treated my Kingsley so well and kept me informed with pictures and videos. I was able to work without anxiety knowing she was caring for my fur baby.”

“Miranda is the best. She takes such good care of our people-shy dog. She was patient with him and let him warm up to her on his own, and now he loves going to her house...full on butt wiggles when he makes his way over to her. It gives us great piece of mind to know that he’s so well taken care of.”
“Alexandrea took great care of my 12 week old puppy Driggs. 😊 She sent me lots of photos of Driggs and kept me updated on how he was doing. She also watched him back to back last minute and I appreciated her willingness to do so! I will definitely be using her again and totally recommend her!”

“Friendly, flexible, and most importantly my little dog seems super happy and worn out after spending the day playing with theirs! Seems like a safe and fun fit for my fur child and will continue to rebook!”

“Kait was so wonderful! Penelope is still a puppy and learning a lot and Kait was patient with her and very communicative with me. I appreciated the photos and updates throughout the day. Kait was also very flexible with my schedule which was much appreciated. Would definitely recommend!”

About: I have years of experience caring for dogs and cats going back to childhood. I have been actively pet sitting for 5+ years and have experience with puppies and kittens, seniors, and pets with special needs. I have also cared for rabbits and am very flexible and willing to learn! I am a teacher, so I am free most of the summer to watch your pet and give them some love! September -May I am still available but with less flexibility I enjoy drop ins and walks so I can give pets attention and care while in their own comfortable environment. I can also watch dogs at my home for those who need overnight visits, but dogs MUST be cat friendly/neutral without history of chasing cats
“Luscely was available last minute and didn't make me jump through hoops to dogsit. She was communicative, fair, and my dog was happy. I will absolutely use her again!”

About: For over forty years we’ve always had dogs in our home. We have a sweet pitbull mix that we adopted last year. She came from a home with several dogs so she loves to meet and make new friends. We enjoy providing a good home to animals and we look forward to caring for your pets. Potty breaks can be provided every two hours. Your dog will have plenty of opportunities throughout the day to run, play fetch, or explore in our fenced backyard. We try to follow the same routine as you would for your pet at home. We only care for two dogs at a time as we have a dog of our own. The dogs have free run of the house if the owner doesn’t specify otherwise.

About: Welcome to my profile! I grew up with a wide variety of pets, so I truly understand how each one has their own unique personality. I know how deserving of love every animal is, and I will do everything in my power to make your pets happy. I treat your pets as my own, while also understanding the need to accommodate to every pet's individual quirks and needs. I recently lost one of my pups to cancer, and because of this, I am really yearning for some more furry friends to meet. Maybe your pet can be my next friend! I recently lost my job, so I currently have a very open schedule! I do have a couple of established clients outside of Rover, but my schedule is still very flexible. I live in a condo-style apartment, so although I do not have a yard, I go on many walks each day- whether around my neighborhood or by driving to a park or beach. I also live just down the street from a dog park, for pups who enjoy socialization and time off-leash. Additionally, I have a patio space for pups who enjoy hanging out al fresco when the weather allows. My own pup is a bit of an escape artist, so I am extra careful with doors, gates, and secure leashing practices. I am also aware of how curious dogs can be, so in my home you can be sure of a safe environment where there are no dangers within a dog's reach (or jump). Not only do I treat your pets with love and respect, but I treat your home with the same care. You can be sure I will keep things neat and tidy, and always make an effort to leave a space cleaner than I found it. No matter the service or location, every animal deserves to feel safe, cared for, and loved. I assure you that I put all my energy into caring for your pets, and I will always treat them as I do my own.
“Our dog had an awesome day with Louise! She was great with little Stuart and so easy to work with for us. She accommodated a long day with our schedules and is so kind. She gave our dog personal care and very loving for our needy little puppy. We plan to book with Louise again, can’t recommend her enough!”

About: I love any type of dog, any type of dog is welcome in my home for caring, people I know describe me as a nice loving person . I work from home on my own time, I am self employed, dog sitting will fit in my schedule routine just perfectly right to welcome any dog. Anything the owner does for the care of there dog fits right in with me, communication on how you would like for me to take care of your dog is the key, I would love for your dog to feel right at home .
“Kathy and Brad took great care of our little dog while we came from out of town to attend the State Fair. They clearly love dogs and they gave him lots of attention and love. Great communication also both before and during his stay. We will definitely use them again if we are in the area.”

“Erin was an excellent host for Katie for daycare! She greeted Katie outside with a treat. We were updated with pictures throughout the day: including Katie playing with their dogs, relaxing like the queen that she is, and exploring the neighborhood on a walk. Erin was flexible with pickup times which really helped with a changing schedule due to travel delays. Already booked another stay for Katie.”

“Amazing communication and pictures throughout. Soba had such a great time hanging out with Tracie and Penny! She was totally pooped from all the fun we had by the time we got home. Would definitely bring soba back without hesitation.”

About: Hi, I’m Ashling! Animals have been a central part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier, spent my teenage years as the go-to neighborhood babysitter and pet sitter, and today, I’m a proud pet parent to two wonderful Wheatens of my own. Because of my personal experience with dogs of all backgrounds, I understand that every animal is unique. My philosophy is to always meet animals where they are at—building trust at their pace while providing a safe, confident, and structured environment. I'm currently accepting weekday appointments for now and will accept some overnights and weekends. I have a flexible schedule at this point and will be able to care for pets multiple times throughout the day and night. “Mary has been so helpful and supportive the last two weeks. I had a couple of deaths in my family and Mary was able to walk my dog and check in on her when I had to fly home for a funeral. She’s so sweet and thoughtful and it was so great to know my pup was being so well taken care of! She’s the best ❤️”

“I have had my sweet little dog for over 15 years. No one has walked her except for family members and the people at doggy daycare. She is also deaf and partially blind. So I was extremely nervous to have somebody else walk her. But this was perfect! Leandrea did a great job with Jolie! She was on time, didn’t mind Jolie dragging her around the condo building several times, and give her kisses. It was wonderful to hear and to see Jolie happy and excited in all the pictures.”

About: I’ve had pets my whole life, so I understand how stressful it can be to find someone to take care of your pets while you’re away or even just gone for the day at work. Our pets are the whole world to us so it’s important you find someone you trust. I hope that once you get to know me I can be that person for you! I have over 13 years experience as I have been around animals my whole life. I love learning their little personalities the things they love whether it’s going for a walk and they have a specific fire hydrant they always stop at or a specific toy at home they always love to play with. Currently I have a cat named Stella who has provided me lots of experience in anxious cats as well as in tricks on giving medication. I am currently a substitute teacher with the summer off so I can provide pop in visits throughout the week as well as the weekends! Safety of pets is my number one priority with your pets as well as my own. I will always care for your pet like they are my own when I am with them to ensure they have adequate care. I will get to know your pet and notice when things may seem off if they aren’t feeling well. I would definitely recommend and plan to use her again!”

“Emily was incredibly responsive to messages and was able to come by on short notice to do a meet and greet prior a few scheduled walks we unexpectedly needed later that day. In the pictures, it looked like our dog Ducky had a great time.”

He fit me into his schedule for a meet n greet (which went really well), I really liked that he had a fenced in backyard.

“Joe and his wife are very nice people and did a fabulous job caring for our dog while we were gone. We received pics of Fizzy enjoying herself in the yard and lounging around the house. Would definitely book with them again.”

“Kelli was amazing with my dog Dusty!! She sent frequent updates throughout my time away and made me feel very comfortable through the whole process. My dog definitely loved spending time with her. Would highly recommend Kelli and will definitely be using her services again!”

“Sara was both completely professional and warm/kind with Kiara. She was ready to set up a meet & greet when it worked for us. She was also patient when our schedule changed a bit for drop off and pick up, and let us shift the times a bit. Most importantly, Kiara had a great time with plenty of walks and trips to the dog part with her new dog friend Josie.”

“Brooke was amazing with my sweet girl Tinsel! She sent updates and was quick to respond when I messaged her. We will definitely be making her and her family our regular dog sitters!”

“Sarah and her family provided constant updates of my dog throughout the week. Her daughters seemed really engaged and loving on my dog, making me feel confident she was receiving all the love and affection she gets at home. When I picked her up, my dog seemed so relaxed, almost as if she hadn’t been gone all that time, helping me feel confident she was safe and loved on. Usually after boarding in a facility, my dog is highly anxious, extra agitated and disheveled. None of that here with Sarah. Her and her family were truly the best sitters. I never worried once while away.”
