“Yolanda and her family did a wonderful job with Gizmo. It was our first time leaving him for a week and with someone through Rover. Yolanda's patience, kindness, and experience brought me relief knowing that my dog was in great hands. She did everything possible to calm my anxiety-ridden fur baby and made him comfortable; kept me updated and was responsive; sent me photos; and was very easy/flexible to work with. By the end of the week, Gizmo was playing with other dogs and taking long walks twice a day, which he never does! He's been home for almost 24 hours and I can tell he misses Yolanda, but mostly, he's been sleeping like a baby. LOL. I couldn't thank Yolanda and her family enough. I finally found someone who was willing to take in my dog and refused to give up on him even when times were hard. I highly recommend her services! Riley isn’t around other dogs very often, so I was a little nervous, but they did great together and it made me so happy to hear how well she adjusted. About: I've had dogs most of my life. My Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is 3 years old and loves a friend. I have an 11 year old daughter that will also provide lots of love. Your dog won't just be boarded, they'll become a part of the family. No kennels necessary, they can sleep with me! I'm a stay at home mom. I love taking my dog out for walks around my quiet, dog friendly neighborhood. I'm home almost all the time. I'd love another doggy friend to visit us! I have tie outs for the dogs when they'd like fresh air. We go on walks as needed....and we can walk more if your dog loves it like mine does!

Weekends are very open and only tend to leave for short periods of time to run errands I have a fenced in yard with plenty of room for them to run around and enjoy the outdoors, as well as one Corgi at home. I do live in a two story house with the primary bedroom upstairs. Depending on the preference, dogs are usually allowed to roam free whether I am home or not but I do have gates to keep them from going upstairs if necessary.

About: Hello and welcome! We take care of/have taken care of all different kinds of pets. We have our own two dogs, as well as six cats. We have experience with multiple different breeds and types of animals, as well as being able to handle many at a time. (We have had up to 9 dogs in my care at one time!) I know how hard it is to leave your pet behind, which is why I will update you with pictures as much as you would like. I have a finished basement if your loved one would prefer to be separated, and also have many open rooms for them to choose from for slumber. The cats have a gated off cat room, only accessible to humans and kitties. The crew and I can't wait to meet you! (Or if you prefer the whole crew won't meet you :)). Dani is currently home full time. At this time Dani is home for almost the entire day, with occasional errands. You can request our schedule for any amount of time to confirm your loved one will be cared for properly and on time. We deep clean all items used after a pet stays, so that they are ready for the next pet to stay. We have extra blankets, beds, crates, bowls, and more. We keep our fishtanks neat and clean, as well as my home. My dogs are extremely friendly even with cats. My backyard is fenced in with access through a back door. When it's nice out we play outside with the dogs where they have access to a kiddie pool to play in the water. I have started to add more outdoor play equipment/toys.

About: Having been surrounded by dogs and cats throughout my life, I've cultivated a profound passion for working with these wonderful companions. While growing up, my mother and I had a cat, but most of my interactions with pets occurred through my grandparents. My grandparents have always had dogs and allowed me to be actively involved in their care, including feeding and walking. This experience nurtured a deep passion and profound appreciation for animals, as they are not just our pets but integral members of our family. I embarked on my first job at McDonald's, where I gained valuable experience in providing excellent customer service. In September of my first college year, I began working at the UW Veterinary Hospital as a kennel worker. This role primarily involved cleaning and providing vet students, vet techs, and doctors with the necessary equipment for treating animals. In the following spring semester, I left the hospital and secured a position as a dog caregiver at Dog Haus University in Madison. I was already familiar with dog behavior, but this job allowed me to gain confidence in recognizing a dog's emotions through their body language. Additionally, I currently work at a doggy daycare in Milwaukee called Unifursity in the same capacity, but with the added responsibility of pottying and feeding dogs since this establishment also offers boarding services. I have experience in petsitting my grandparents' dogs in their home while they were out of town and have demonstrated my ability to maintain their routine. Being at the doggy daycare has allowed me to gain new skills such as properly administering the Bordetella and Distemper vaccination, along with solidifying my skill in maintaining a dogs daily schedule when it comes to feeding, pottying and excerise. Regarding my experience in Madison, opportunities that arose did not align with my housing situation since I did reside in the campus dorms. Patience is a quality I've developed over the years, partly due to having younger siblings who can be quite challenging. My grandma's dog, a large German Shepherd with severe separation anxiety, has given me experience in dealing with dogs who are considered "difficult." Working at the daycare, patience is crucial, as some dogs struggle to follow instructions and require consistent redirection. There have been instances of nervous dogs who were initially wary of strangers, but through careful handling, consistent communication, and positive interactions, I gained their trust while maintaining authority when necessary. I am a full-time student, but I have flexibility on times as my schedule isn’t super demanding. I do work Thursdays, Fridays & Sundays, and I’m able to be accommodating around times if needed. While I do have a full house that could be overwhelming to some pets, as a pet sitter in a client's home, I will follow their guidelines closely which may involve feeding pets according to their usual routine, administering medication if necessary, and engaging in play or exercise activities. I aim to maintain a clean and organized space, respecting the home and the pet owner's preferences. About: Hello there! Having been a dog owner myself, I truly understand the special attention your furry friends need. For the past couple of years, I've happily assisted family and friends with walking, feeding, and playing with their dogs while they were away. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and even helped with administering medications through their food. Please feel free to reach out with any questions—I can’t wait to meet you and your pet! I offer a flexible schedule to fit your pet care needs. If you think it would be beneficial for me to stay on-site with your pet, I'm happy to do that. If you just need someone to drop in and check on your dog during the day, I can do that as well! My goal is to provide the care and attention your pet deserves. When I care for pets in a client's home, I focus on making sure your pet feels comfortable around me. I stick to a pet’s usual routine for feeding, walks, and playtime, which helps them feel at ease. I also keep a close eye on their health incase there are any concerns/changes in your pet’s behavior and/or appetite. Safety is a priority, so I ensure their environment is free from hazards both in and outdoors and your dog will always have a leash on when on walks. I plan to stay in touch with you — the pet owner — giving an update after or during each visit I have with your pet. If you would like pictures of your pet sent to you while I am with them — let me know! My goal is to provide a loving and engaging atmosphere where pets can feel comfortable in their own space.
About: I have been around pets my entire life. I am very experienced at caring for big and small, young and old. Any type of pet you have, I will provide excellent care. I am available from early mornings to late nights. I can work 7 days a week. Anything from a quick visit to an overnight stay works for me. I can provide any services you need at your home. About: I have 20+ years of experience with a variety of pets. From dogs to reptiles and everything in between, I love them all. Growing up, I cared for dogs, cats and small rodents. Out of high school I adopted my first rescue dog and never looked back. I have worked with many rescue dogs over the years and went through basic training with each one. This helped me learn to accommodate for special needs and/or behaviors. I also have experience with giving pets medications and injections. I previously worked with groups of dogs at a local dog daycare. Our family currently has 2 dogs, 2 cats, 3 snakes, 1 gecko, 1 box turtle and 1 fish. I have a natural passion for caring for animals and I can’t wait to fall in love with your pet. I currently work part time during the day as an office manager and have a fairly flexible work schedule. I do have multiple pets that I visit on a regular basis mid day during the week. I'm also free on most weekends! I believe pets are a part of your family as much as any other family member. I will treat them with the utmost respect and love while I am caring for them. I will also do my best to stick to your instructions to keep your pet’s experience with me as consistent and stress free as possible.
About: I've grown up with pets ever since I was little. I've been trusted even from young ages to walk, feed, and clean up after dogs. I've never had a bad experience and I'm always willing to encounter any and every kind of dog out there with lots of love and care! I have my own pet at home, had him for 10 years. Even after so long, it's so easy and even fun sometimes to do the little things for your pets like feeding them, walking them, and just making sure you spend some quality time with them! There's never a moment I don't want to be around my pet, or any pet for that matter! I always think the key to good pet care is real love and attention. Watching for what your pets want and giving them it will make them happy. If it's attention, bring on the cuddles! If it's a walk, let's do it! And that goes for pets that aren't mine as well. I always care for them like they're mine, and will pay attention to what they want as well as what their owners know is best too!

I (Maddie) have grown up with dogs and cats my entire life and have always been hands-on with training. My grandpa has been breeding huskies since before I was born so dogs have always been a large part of my life. . I’m confident working with high-energy and large breeds, and I’m especially passionate about giving puppies the structure, love, and attention they need. I previously worked at a doggy daycare which has given me plenty of knowledge on caretaking and maintaining a happy and healthy home with multiple dogs. I (Joseph) have always had a deep love for animals—I raised a kitten growing up and worked at a reptile store where I cared for reptiles, fish, and insects before traveling for a year. Together, we’re all about giving pets thoughtful, experienced, personalized care every step of the way. 🐾 We are both currently working from home so normally one of us is always home. If we do leave your pup will never be left alone for more than an hour. Our space includes a fully fenced backyard, a dedicated doggy room with a queen-sized mattress, cozy dog beds, and an XL crate if needed. Ring cameras and security system so we know our house is always watched. Maddie has trained her super well-mannered and playful 6-year-old Siberian Husky since birth who loves making new friends. We only take in 2-3 dogs at a time which is plenty of space for our house. Our neighborhood is quiet and safe with a playground, large field and lots of kids around. We follow your dog’s routine closely and send regular updates so you always feel connected—your pup will be treated like part of the family. 🐾
About: I can't wait to meet your fur babies! I own my home and currently have no pets so would love to watch yours (I share my parents golden retriever once in awhile so she is here every so often). I would be happy to chat on any specific needs your pet may have I have a hybrid work schedule, so I am home 3 out of the 5 work days most weeks. “Yolanda and her family did a wonderful job with Gizmo. It was our first time leaving him for a week and with someone through Rover. Yolanda's patience, kindness, and experience brought me relief knowing that my dog was in great hands. She did everything possible to calm my anxiety-ridden fur baby and made him comfortable; kept me updated and was responsive; sent me photos; and was very easy/flexible to work with. By the end of the week, Gizmo was playing with other dogs and taking long walks twice a day, which he never does! He's been home for almost 24 hours and I can tell he misses Yolanda, but mostly, he's been sleeping like a baby. LOL. I couldn't thank Yolanda and her family enough. I finally found someone who was willing to take in my dog and refused to give up on him even when times were hard. I highly recommend her services!
