“Zachary was great with my petsitting needs - especially given that I reached out for the first time within a week of needing the help. He fit me into his schedule for a meet n greet (which went really well), I really liked that he had a fenced in backyard. The stay was arranged for 5 days (I ended up coming back a day early and was able to pick him up early). Zachary provided updates early in the stay to let me know how my dog was settling in. Zachary was very responsive to my messages and was quick to reply. If you have a dog with separation anxiety (like mine), it was great that he lives in a house, so there were no wall neighbors (such as apartments) to worry about with any barking. If I find myself traveling for a few days again, I will definitely reach out to see if Zachary is available to watch my dog!”

About: I have a diverse experience of taking care of dogs. One of my previous jobs was working in a dog daycare/kennel where I took care of dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I have been a dog walker and sitter for many years now, and have been around dogs my whole life! I currently own a mini poodle puppy! About: I have always had a dog in my life and mostly care for my parent’s dogs however live in Wauwatosa in an apartment with no pets in a very walkable area (I go for 2 walks a day). My family currently has 2 dogs- a 9 year old Atlas Mountain dog named Mila adopted from Tunisia; she is obviously emotionally scarred and usually takes a bit to warm up to people- so I understand the dogs who need some space at first but I know to love & care for each and every dog the same. My family's other dog, Mavis, is a 6 year old high energy border collie! About: First and foremost, I’m a queer yoga teacher in the area and I haven’t used this account in least two years 😬 I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life. At four, my family started fostering cats (mamas and kittens were my faaaav) and I would help out as much as I could. Yes, I did try to name a kitten Washcloth. No, my mom did not let it stand. This love for animals carried forward throughout my youth with four cats, a German Shepard mix, a malamute, a boxer and pit. My house was always full and as the Aries eldest daughter that I am I always was the first to help out. I got a cat as soon as I could when I moved out on my own and about seven years ago I got a rescue pup of my own. I also have a Rottweiler who I helped raise and train from 7 weeks old. I dedicated so much time to gently training both of them and just pouring love into them. I can definitely help with training and love working with dogs on walking well on leash. I also really believe in positive reinforcement for your pets - they just want to make us proud. Truly a universal desire. I love long walks with dogs and lots of coregulation calm time. Trust that your babies will be treated like they are family. I am a yoga teacher and teach about 10 classes per week. Other than that I work remotely from my computer, so I can flex my time. I really value a slow paced life, so being able to really take my time and go for walks/hikes, cooking a gourmet dinner at home for myself and cuddling up with a good book. I have always been a very regimented, schedule following pet owner. I think it helps create consistency and eases anxiety for animals. Routines help animals thrive. I think frequent bathroom breaks are important. Long walks early in the day before the world is busy and it gets too hot in the summer are a priority. I also really love snuggling up and just having quiet, calm time with pets. I am happy to follow whatever guidelines/special requests pet parents have. I know how important it is to keep things consistent for pets! There’s never any judgement from me!
About: As a young adult I cared for my neighbor's pets, some time managing up to three houses. I have experience with families with three dogs, fish, lizards, and chickens I am a full time grad student at UW Milwaukee. mM classes are online so I mostly study at home but I will got to a coffee shop or the library. I see pets as members of the family. I have 2 dogs...a terrier and a mini poodle. I love them to pieces and they run the house! Lol. They are well behaved and allowed on the furniture and the bed. Your fur babies would be too! I want them to be comfortable in my home. If I’m dropping in to take care of your fur baby in their home just let me know what I need to do for them and consider it done! I take my pups out every morning for a short walk, after work, and just before bed time. I feed them twice a day with occasional treats that they love mixed in :) I'm in an apartment so they will be leashed when we go outside. I live close to 3 different parks as well as the Menomonee River Parkway....lots of space to walk with them and let them sniff away!
About: I grew up having three different dogs ever until I was about 13. Over the last couple years, I’ve watched, walked, and overall taken care of several dogs for friends and family. I genuinely love to be around dogs and to play. I work from home full-time so I can give your dog a good amount of attention throughout the day with breaks to play and take a necessary potty or walk. I can watch dogs currently anytime during the work week! I live in an apartment so I don’t have a yard, but the area I live in has grass near by to go to when needed. Otherwise, we do go on walks throughout the day in our apartment community to get some exercise. We hold the safety of the dogs at highest priority so making sure they don’t get into anything they aren’t suppose to and making sure that they have what they need!

He fit me into his schedule for a meet n greet (which went really well), I really liked that he had a fenced in backyard. The stay was arranged for 5 days (I ended up coming back a day early and was able to pick him up early). Zachary provided updates early in the stay to let me know how my dog was settling in. Zachary was very responsive to my messages and was quick to reply. If you have a dog with separation anxiety (like mine), it was great that he lives in a house, so there were no wall neighbors (such as apartments) to worry about with any barking. About: I grew up with dogs and cats and now have a 2 year old golden retriever that I raised as a puppy. I’ve invested a lot of time learning how to train dogs effectively so that I can best care for my own and others dogs. I work from home full time, so would love to provide day care for dogs that get along well with others and that would benefit from individual attention and another dog playmate. **I just started on Rover so that’s why I have only a few reviews. Setting prices low to get initial clients, so take advantage! Happy to talk through any questions to make sure you feel great about your pet’s care!** I work fully from home so am available for day care during the work week and some weekends. I can also do dog walks or drop ins during the work week. I’m open to overnights as well after first successfully testing out day care. I have a back yard (not fenced, but I have long leads if needed) and a large unfinished basement for play. I have a 2 year old golden retriever that is very friendly and great with all dogs.
