If you have a dog with separation anxiety (like mine), it was great that he lives in a house, so there were no wall neighbors (such as apartments) to worry about with any barking. If I find myself traveling for a few days again, I will definitely reach out to see if Zachary is available to watch my dog!”

During Tucker’s stay, I received texts, photos, and videos which assured me that he was receiving great care, attention, and was thoroughly enjoying his stay thanks to these two wonderful women! They followed his feeding and sleeping instructions exactly and were prompt in his pickup and drop off. Their fenced-in yard was a big plus as it allowed him to explore and interact without the need for a leash (which he needs at home). He loved it!! About: I owned a dog growing up and cared for and trained one with my family. I sit for friends and family from time to time and I love to play and take dogs for walks and, if they are able, runs of up to a few miles! I have a fenced in yard, and my kids (4, 8) are also great with animals. I work from home. With the exception of rare travel days, school drop-offs, and evening events, I will always be around the house to care for your pup. Your pet will get the attention it needs, as I work from home and I have a fenced in yard, as well as young boys that are great with animals. Frequent outside visits and play times are very doable.

About: For over forty years we’ve always had dogs in our home. We have a sweet pitbull mix that we adopted last year. She came from a home with several dogs so she loves to meet and make new friends. We enjoy providing a good home to animals and we look forward to caring for your pets. Potty breaks can be provided every two hours. Your dog will have plenty of opportunities throughout the day to run, play fetch, or explore in our fenced backyard. We try to follow the same routine as you would for your pet at home. We only care for two dogs at a time as we have a dog of our own. The dogs have free run of the house if the owner doesn’t specify otherwise.

About: I took canine training at the age of 13 and have taken care of dogs on and off since then! I adopted my very own dog (a beautiful beagle Maya!) for the first time almost 3 years ago and have learned a lot more since then. Maya frequents dog parks, day cares, hiking trails and the lake as much as she can. She is very social and does well with other dogs as well as children! I’m comfortable administering medicine as I’ve had to with my pup in the past. I work from home and take my dog out every 4-5 hours for potty breaks and short walks around the block. On weekends when I’m home we visit dog parks and/or dog friendly trails as weather permits but also love to cuddle on the sofa for a good movie marathon! When your pet is in my home, they have free range of every room and furniture, minus the bedroom. My dog is crate trained and sleeps in her crate at night. If your dog prefers to sleep outside of a crate I do have a separate room they can sleep in so they have privacy and don’t have to stress seeing the crate. I will still be able to hear/watch over them from their private room at night!

She was also patient when our schedule changed a bit for drop off and pick up, and let us shift the times a bit. “Marilynn was UNBELIEVABLE with my dog!! He’s a difficult rescue and she was aware of it, but gave him a chance. He doesn’t tolerate other dogs, but by the end of his 24 hour stay he was playing in the yard with several other dogs (all larger than him). I was in shock.
