I always carry a mini journal and pen around with me to jot down notes or things I need to remember, especially if there are specific instructions, like dietary or playtime needs for pets. I usually am the one who takes my family dog for a walk every day since I'm the only one in my family who has the most amount of free time on their hands. If I ever dog sat for a friend's pet in my home, I usually don't really change my routine but add the necessary care requirements for both dogs.
