About: Cats have always been my favorite animals, despite working with just about every domestic animal. Grumpy cats (my personal favorite- I love a challenge!), playful kittens, Velcro cats, they’re all so fun to interact with. I’ve grown up taking care of cats, and have an almost annoying amount of knowledge about them. I am experienced in medicating especially difficult cats, and I can trim nails as well!

About: Please read the entire profile. I did grow up with a Dalmatian dog. My dad was a firefighter, and came home with Pepper Christmas morning. My sister had a mini goldendoodle. I would stop daily after work around 3:45pm to play and take walks. I took a separation package from my employer 5/1/25 and now would like to offer walks, daycare, drop in visits and boarding . With boarding, For larger dogs, they WILL be crated at night. Your dog will be crated when I play pickleball in the mornings. I do have a crate(s). Please note if sending a request there may be a delay in responding due to pickleball between 9:30 - 12:30 approximate times. I currently have two dog walking appointments from 11:45am -1:45pm Monday-Thursday. Having retired 5/1/25, I have the time to provide loving care, playtime and walks with your pet. I will provide pictures and updates to you. No fence but can play fetch in the front/backyard or take your dog to dog park if they are ok with it. Please provide details or special needs. We are not quite ready to bring a dog into our home full-time because of traveling, but we love to have the company of a pet from time to time. There is still so many breeds of both dogs and cats that I would love to be able to take care of. I am currently working part-time at a pet boarding/ daycare facility and still going to school. She kept in close contact with us and continued to care for her. She had to make special food for our pup because of her diarrhea. Erika is just the sweetest person you will meet and she even washed all of the items in her kennel. We can not say enough positive things about her - if you need an angel to take care of your dog baby consider Erika!”

We left our sweet Piper with Krystal for a week and Piper seemed to adjust well and was in good spirits when we picked her up. I think she even missed Krystal and Duke for a day or so after we returned home! Krystal kept us abreast of how Piper was doing and was responsive to our questions. I was amazed by how unfazed she was by the cold, wet weather that hung over the Fox Valley the week we were away; seemingly taking the additional 4 muddy paws in stride! About: I have had horses and dogs along with all sorts of animals my whole life. I have assisted with litters of puppies and worked years in a veterinary clinic. My animals are my family and I will care for yours in the same way! I work Monday through Friday 8-5 and am off on the weekends I would be available after work and on the weekends. If that works let me know! I also take my small dog to work with me and my springer goes to daycare next to my work. I have a large fenced in backyard! Pets are like family in my home!! They are allowed on furniture! I have many years of experience from 6 pounds to 150 pound Great Danes.
