“Amber was amazing! Her and her family helped take great care of my 3 month old pup for a few days while we were in the process of moving. She was super accommodating and helpful, taking him in just hours after us contacting her very last minute while stressed trying to figure out what to do with him. Taking in his “puppy shenanigans” and all like he was one of her own. Amber made sure to keep me updated about how his was doing helping to ease my mind of having him away from home for the first time. Sending me pictures/videos and messages about how his day was going. She also took the time to make sure that my pup was comfortable and entertained. Taking him on walks and being able to run around and play in the yard. Letting him go at his own pace and doing what made him feel safe when he didn’t like the rain or was was scared by her dog at first (he wasn’t the biggest one around anymore and couldn’t terrorize/annoy every living thing like he normally likes to do). She even went the extra mile to wash his bed after an accident over night and have him and all of his stuff packed up nicely and ready to go for me when I got there. My little boy loved playing with her and her family. And having the other dogs around for him to interact with was a bonus. When I tell you he was so excited when he first met them that I didn’t even get a second look over the shoulder or a goodbye before he took off to play with one of the kids ? (I’m still emotionally processing his betrayal ?). I could not recommend Amber enough! Your pet will be greatly taken care of (Not to mention worn out….he’s been napping since the moment we put him in the car) and all of your worries will fade the moment you get there.”

After communicating and speaking to Paige on the phone, I realized that Paige was a true animal lover like myself. It was then I booked with her to board my Babycat while I had to go to the hospital for 2 nights. During my stay at the hospital, Paige answered text and even sent pictures of my Babycat to reassure me. About: I have been an animal lover ever since I can remember! I worked at Sondel Family Vet & absolutely loved it! I had to unfortunately leave due to having my first child. I always enjoyed spending my days interacting with owners and their pets to make sure they were provided with the best care (While also giving them extra love.) I have also had many pets throughout my life; including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs & bearded dragons. I even recently fostered my first dog who got adopted a few weeks after I took her in! I have worked on farms with cattle & have also taken many equine classes at UW-Madison. So yes, I have quite an extensive resume working with animals! Our evenings & weekends are usually always open. About: Hello I have been taking care of all sorts of pets since I was very young! I have experience with potty training, crate training, walking, and lots of play time. I also can give any puppers bath if need be. I also have experience with cats and many other small animals. I am free all week as I stay home with my 4 kiddos. I have 2 young kids that are 2 and 3 years old and my other 2 are 9 and 12. I always make sure that my pets and anyone else's pets are fed at a certain time, made sure they get their walks and exercise, but also make sure they get their cuddle time as well. I also make sure that they have water on hand at all times.

I'm a massage therapist and love giving pups a little TLC with energy therapy and light massage. They love it! The dog you see in my thumbnail photo is KC. She was a rescue dog who was with us for six years and needed lots of training, support and care. Please note I take 3 walking clients per day but only 1 boarder at a time. I teach at a technical college and am a personal trainer, working part-time from home and part-time out of the home. I'm often home for long hours during the day. My three kids are in public school, so dogs may have 1 to 4 dog-lovers in the home after 4pm. I offer long walks on sidewalks or trails if preferred, treats, water, lots of play and unlimited petting! I offer care in my home and dog walking. About: I have a big heart for all animals. You can count on your dog/cat provided with genuine care and attention. Since starting Rover, I have come in contact with all types of furry friends, all of them being great experiences. Whether your fur baby likes long walks, quick runs, or is a couch potato, I will fit to all of the needs and wants. I would love nothing more than to be able to help another during a busy week/weekend, or just a busy life. When it comes to availability, I work very well on a schedule - as well as being able to have flexibility. I am off every weekend and Monday, with lots of random days off here and there. I can also make time before or after work. I can promise your fur babies will be treated with more than enough attention, love and respect. I am a part time worker in Portage, Wi. I work (typically) Tuesday - Friday but take quite a bit of work off, when given the opportunity, to spend time at home with my toddler. We are in the works of getting a fence around our yard and hope to have once come fall of 2025. My pets are my children. They are spoiled and loved deeply. We have a long yard leash that our puppy uses as well as constant supervision when outdoors.

About: I’ve taken care of neighbors/family/parents of friends’ homes and pets since I was a little girl. I enjoy pet sitting because it gives me a reason to get outside and move my body, something I don’t (yet) do for myself… And of course, pet therapy is an added bonus. I work 3x a week at my “full time” job, 8 hour shifts, on the west side of Madison. This leaves me with ample flexibility and free time - I work from home about half of the time. I prefer long term stays for this reason, and most, if not all, save my memory, of my past pet visits have been for 3 or more days. First, I let the pets warm up to me, giving them the floor to tell me what they want. I stay with the pets as much as is possible so that they don’t feel alone, and I give them attention, affection and love while their parents are away. We go for long lazy walks each morning and night, at the least, and play with toys/prep puzzles/exercise their minds, if applicable. I care for the animals as if they were my own babies, because they are for the time being, and we have such fun adventures. Each one of them have unique personalities, and it’s for my pleasure to spend time with them!
About: I've taken care of dogs and all sorts of pets while growing up on a farm. I've also been both an overnight house sitter and dog groomer for a professional dog breeder. I do not currently have dogs with me since I’m a student but I have plenty of long breaks throughout the day as well as non-eventful nights which gives me plenty of time for pet care. Back home, I would do my farm chores and care for my animals twice a day on average but I also like to spend some extra time out there most days. I always like being aware of rules and boundaries, especially when I’m in someone else’s space and would 100% respect the home, including the pets. I also think it’s important to clean up any sort of mess made and to be very open if something were to happen at any point in time.
About: I have experience with a lot of Senior Dogs and with middle age as well. I'm a very out going person and enjoy all types of pets and animals. My schedule is pretty open I would like to do this like 25 to 30 hours per week. I can any time of the day or night. “Amber was amazing! Her and her family helped take great care of my 3 month old pup for a few days while we were in the process of moving. She was super accommodating and helpful, taking him in just hours after us contacting her very last minute while stressed trying to figure out what to do with him. Taking in his “puppy shenanigans” and all like he was one of her own. Amber made sure to keep me updated about how his was doing helping to ease my mind of having him away from home for the first time. Sending me pictures/videos and messages about how his day was going. She also took the time to make sure that my pup was comfortable and entertained. Taking him on walks and being able to run around and play in the yard. Letting him go at his own pace and doing what made him feel safe when he didn’t like the rain or was was scared by her dog at first (he wasn’t the biggest one around anymore and couldn’t terrorize/annoy every living thing like he normally likes to do). She even went the extra mile to wash his bed after an accident over night and have him and all of his stuff packed up nicely and ready to go for me when I got there. My little boy loved playing with her and her family. And having the other dogs around for him to interact with was a bonus. When I tell you he was so excited when he first met them that I didn’t even get a second look over the shoulder or a goodbye before he took off to play with one of the kids ? (I’m still emotionally processing his betrayal ?). I could not recommend Amber enough! Your pet will be greatly taken care of (Not to mention worn out….he’s been napping since the moment we put him in the car) and all of your worries will fade the moment you get there.”
“Paige S. was an excellent babysitter for my Babycat. My Babycat is all that I have in this world and I would trust Paige S. with my Babycat anytime. After communicating and speaking to Paige on the phone, I realized that Paige was a true animal lover like myself. It was then I booked with her to board my Babycat while I had to go to the hospital for 2 nights. During my stay at the hospital, Paige answered text and even sent pictures of my Babycat to reassure me. She also helped load and unload Babycat in her carrier, as I am dealing with a handicap.This is how Paige takes excellent care of animals and their humans ! “Our 2 dogs stayed at Sarah's for about a week earlier this month. The stay was great! We got daily updates, including photos and videos. They have a fantastic large fenced in yard where they could safety run and play. They had lots of playtime, but also lots of snuggles and love. They were both clearly enjoying their own vacation at Sarah's while we were gone on ours. It was so refreshing to know they were so well cared for while we were away- we have already rebooked them for our next trip!”

“Amber was my first experience with Rover.com. In the past, I had taken Kit to boarders, and she was never a happy camper when she returned. We met with Amber about a month before she watched Kit and ensured that everyone got along and was comfortable with one another. It was a flawless experience. Amber and her husband were flexible with drop off (very early a.m.) and pick up (late p.m.). Amber updated us frequently and sent pictures. The best part was that Kit was happy when we picked her up. “I was very nervous to leave my dog Bailey. 1. I had never left her and 2.She had a small issue with her paw just before my vacation. When informing him about the issues and the shedding problem , there were no hesitations on what needs to be done to keep up with the grooming. You should have no worries when you hire this person. The communication, the pictures,the condition of my dogand the level of care were outstanding. I was very lucky to find somebody on short notice and appreciate the sensitivity and kindness.
