“This was our first time leaving our two dogs with Ty, but will not be the last! Ty was super responsive throughout the process - from pre-booking questions to updates during our trip to the day of pick-up. It's obvious he loves and is good with dogs and he was more than accommodating. We received updates and photos and/or videos every day. I am certain our dogs were much more spoiled at Ty's house than they are at home and it was nice to know they were having a mini-vacation of their own! Our flight home was delayed and cancelled multiple times due to weather and we didn't return home until more than 24 hours later than anticipated. Throughout this ordeal, Ty was helpful and assured us our dogs were just fine staying with him until we returned. He alleviated concerns about our pets and their lodging during an otherwise very stressful day. Will definitely be booking with Ty the next time we leave town.”

About: Lifelong pet owner and animal lover. I have cared for and loved animals of all shapes, sizes, and personalities, and I am confident I can make your pet feel at home. I have prior experience watching everything from tiny Chihuahuas to 90 lbs German Shepherds. I am also highly experienced with anxious or nervous dogs and know how to give them the space and one-on-one time they need to warm up. I own a friendly, medium-sized dog named Raven who loves meeting new friends once they feel settled. To give you peace of mind, I send plenty of photo and video updates throughout your pet's stay so you can see exactly how much fun they are having! 😊 I work at an office in Winona from 6:30am–4:30pm Monday through Thursday. I work every other weekend (Friday through Sunday), meaning I am completely free for pet care on my alternating off-weekends. I am happy to provide extended boarding starting on my available weekends and lasting until the following Thursday. Please note that during the workweek (Monday through Thursday), I am away at the office all day, so your pet would need to be comfortable being left alone during my working hours. I do have a teenager that when home from school during the week can provide potty breaks. I recently moved into my own house on French Island, and my grandmother lives just a couple of blocks away. We have access to her fully fenced yard, and there is also a park about a block away from my house as well as many other open spaces to play. I will walk and feed your dog to your instructions and maintain their routine while staying under our care. I have experience watching a lot of anxious dogs, and every single one has warmed up eventually especially when they get one on one time the first 30–60 mins of their stay. It’s important to me that they are comfortable before introducing my pup Raven because new environments can be scary.

About: At one time, we were breeders of Champion Golden Retrievers, and have raised many a pup, from small to large breeds. From Bernese to Yorkies, we love them all! Our furbabies are a Shorkie and Shih Tzu who are well behaved and make great hosts and playmates! Large pastures and trails on which to walk, so lots of exercise. About: Until college, I had never lived in a home without a dog. And from a young age, I was taught everything I need to know about caring for them. Between my parents, we currently have five dogs, a cat, and four guinea pigs. My siblings and I have been working hard for years to care for our fur-babies, and I can’t wait to meet yours! I will stick to your potty schedule for your animal as well as feeding. As for exercise, I am up to whatever your dog or cat prefers! I can go for walks, play fetch, provide enrichment with feeding time or play with toys. I am always willing to go to nearby park with your pup if preferred! About: I grew up with shelter dogs my whole life, and we always had three dogs at a time, so I’m very used to different personalities, energy levels, and behaviors. Having rescue dogs taught me a lot of patience and helped me learn how every dog has their own needs and routine. I also have experience with dogs of all ages, including seniors, so I understand the extra gentleness and patience they sometimes need. Honestly, I just really love being around dogs and miss mine at home, so I’d love the chance to spend time with some furry friends and make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for. I am in school full time and I work at Chick Fil A part time, but I am done with classes most days by 3pm so I am willing to walk dogs on those days! I also do not go home hardly ever, except holidays so I can do weekend care as well! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make it a priority to stick closely to their normal routine because I know how important consistency is for dogs. One of my dogs at home, Maui, will even get sick if breakfast is more than about 30 minutes late, so I truly understand how much pets rely on their schedules for comfort and health. I’m also very comfortable cleaning up after pets and handling any accidents quickly and responsibly. Being an only child, I’ve always been the one to step in and take care of messes at home, so it comes naturally to me to keep both the pet and the home clean and comfortable. It's obvious he loves and is good with dogs and he was more than accommodating. We received updates and photos and/or videos every day. I am certain our dogs were much more spoiled at Ty's house than they are at home and it was nice to know they were having a mini-vacation of their own! Our flight home was delayed and cancelled multiple times due to weather and we didn't return home until more than 24 hours later than anticipated. Throughout this ordeal, Ty was helpful and assured us our dogs were just fine staying with him until we returned. He alleviated concerns about our pets and their lodging during an otherwise very stressful day. Will definitely be booking with Ty the next time we leave town.”

About: I have had multiple pets. My first dog was a high energy Coonhound and I went to training lessons with him. I now own a Maltipoo, a chihuahua, and a cat. I also have experience babysitting my sisters senior pup. I work full-time during the week in healthcare. My job times can vary but I am typically available weekdays after 5pm. I am available most weekends. I care about keeping your house cleaner than I found it. I’ll make sure to take your pup out every couple hours to avoid any mess.
About: Love all fur babies. Have been taken care of all sorts of critters since I was little. Love all shapes and sizes. Excited to start babysitting. I worksl from home full time and we are home most days. Walks and plenty of play time in our back yard would hapen all day. We have a nice big fenced in back yard and theee dogs and two cats that love to play. We love playing fetch and have lots of toys.

About: I used to work at a doggy daycare and I worked with horses for about a year, so nothing scares me. I fostered a dog for a year until she found her forever home and now I have my own rescue. She is my whole world. I will treat your furbabies like my own because I know they are your whole world too. I work 2 part-time jobs with a lot of availibility/flexibilty. I typically work either midday or evening, but it changes daily. I would work well with a flexible schedule. We would go for many walks during the day. My dog loves to play so they can tire each other out. If comfortable with other dogs, we could visit the dog park.
