“Tango had a great time with Jennifer and her dog, Madeline when I dropped him off for a day of play while visiting Saugatuck. Jennifer has a huge yard where my pup could race around and expend all his energy (and Madeline was very tolerant of him). Jennifer took extra care with Tango when they got out of the heat and went indoors, allowing the two dogs to sleep separately and comfortable. Then Tango got to play in the spray hose for a while. He came home happy and exhausted. Jennifer is a super dog caregiver and I wouldn't hesitate to take Tango back there. She is an experienced dog sitter and also very sweet and thoughtful person.”

I am a professional wildlife biologist and animal behaviorist. I have been a part of many dog-friendly families for over a decade. Often called Auntie Kareesa, I am used to having many dog friends I consider and treat as if they were my own family. I love to take out my fury friends hiking with me and am good at being in tune with their needs. I am also good with all sorts of different breeds as I have studied many of them. As a wildlife biologist I am familiar with animal behavior in general, and most often I am able to help dog owners further understand their animals behavior and needs. I love learning from animals and the many things they can teach us as well as help educate myself and others about them. I am an entrepreneur and I work mostly from home with the exception of a few days a week where the most I will be gone at one time will be 4-6 hours. I only host one pet at a time and I provide quality care and a peaceful environment. My community offers long, safe, and private walking paths and hiking trails. I am a long time trusted house sitter and my service includes not only caring for your pet and/or pets but also watering plants, bringing in the mail, rolling out trash bins (if applicable) on trash days, and overall caring for your home and a high standard of upkeep in your home, as well as keeping your entire home and pet(s) friendly and loving company. Your pet is given quality care and attention. Each pet and breed has very specific needs and preferences. I tailor everything I do aside from your feeding schedule, potty breaks, and walks, for each individual based on their specific needs.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs ever since I was 5 years old. Family and friends have relied on me to watch their dogs and let them out when there weren’t home. I have had all types of dogs ranging from aggressive rescues to seniors. I have 3 days off of the week and I do wake up early so I can take them on a walk and play. I would leg them out multiple times a day. I am leaving at the end of August for school so I won’t be in Minocqua. I will be coming to your house to feed, play, and let your dog out and if need be sleep over. If need be I will put them on a leash and walk them, but if you have a fenced yard that’s great.
