“Please read! I will be there first to admit I was skeptical of using Rover. I carefully scanned through profiles of those willing to watch the two dogs we have, a Great Dane and a boxer. Cilyr was so much more than we could have asked for! She and I agreed having a meet and greet prior was a great choice to make sure the dogs would have an easier transition. Cilyr went to every length to ensure she had asked questions we may not have thought of: do the dogs have allergies? Require specific routines? But I was really blown away when she brought to my attention that she does not have a truck large enough for our Great Dane in the event he would need to get to a vet emergently however, she has already arranged with a friend and neighbor that she could borrow theirs should an emergency arise. I knew at that moment She was that absolutely perfect choice to watch our dogs. This was not just a” side gig” for her, she genuinely cares so much for animals and helping others! When I brought the boys back for their week long stay they took about a day and a half to fully adjust. I know this because Cilyr went above and beyond to make sure I knew the boys were doing well and sent pictures! It was so heartwarming to get those little messages and pictures and know our boys were in great hands. Through those pictures you could see our dogs easing into their day and feeling safe and loved. Before we had even returned from our vacation we had discussed that we will hands down take our dogs back to her any time we need to leave them. About: I have always had a strong passion for working with animals. I have 5 pets of my own and currently work at a vet clinic which provides me with additional resources . I know how to feed, clean up after, and medicate animals. I have worked with all sizes and ages of dogs and cats. About: I am a proud dog owner/parent who loves spending time with my two Frenchies. I love to have doggy friends come over and spend quality time playing, snuggling, and relaxing. I am currently doing consulting work from home in a part time basis and have a very flexible schedule. I can do doggy daycare during the week as well as some weekends. The house have a fenced backyard that is very safe for our dogs and our house is doggy proof. I have crates too if that is your preference, otherwise your pup will be inside the house with us.

About: Hi! My name is Rona. I grew up on a farm in the Philippines. As a child, my parents always had dogs and cats at home. I’ve experienced taking care of many different types of animals. It was quite challenging but it’s fun! When I came here, we adopted Maggie and Lyka when they were still puppies. Maggie is a 7 years old Pug and Lyka is a 3 years old Boston Terrier. I love them so much! They are both lovable and friendly. Our neighbors and friends have relied on me to groom, walk, feed and bathe their dogs while they were away. My house sits in a shady private area and is surrounded by parks and trails so there will be a lot of running around and play time when your dog is cared for by me. I can do oral medication administration, I have had a senior dog experience and can provide daily exercise for your pups. My schedule is flexible so I can usually take on new dogs at a moment’s notice. I will update you regularly with pictures and videos to give you peace of mind during your time apart. I am working from home so most of my time will be caring for your fur baby. Daycare drop-off no earlier than 6:00 am and pick-up hours anytime in the afternoon. We have a large fenced backyard and our two dogs, Maggie (Pug) and Lyka (Boston Terrier) are very good with all dogs. They love to play and will keep your fur baby company during their stay. The dogs are in and out all day using 9 steps. We have security cameras and limited access to our property.

About: I’ve grown up in a household that has always had at least two dogs, usually 3. We also have 3 indoor-outdoor cats. I am now a student at UW Madison, and I have a 5yr old heeler shepherd mix. Throughout her life I have trained her for obedience and herding, and have dealt with low confidence and reactivity with her daily. I am experienced with dogs who are shy and tend to be reactive. I am studying for a Food Science PhD at UW Madison, so I’m able to take whatever requests work outside of my classes! Most weekends are free, and I update my calendar regularly to reflect class and exam schedules. I have experience training dogs and love hanging out with any breed of dog. I believe dogs need both mental and physical stimulation in order to be fulfilled.

I have a dog and cat myself at my apartment that are well socialized to be around other dogs. I can accommodate up to two dogs in my apartment if needed and can also go to your home if preferred. For cats, I find it best to go to them. I do not have a yard, but my apartment complex is pet friendly with a play area and lots of walking trails nearby.
About: I have always had a strong passion for working with animals. I have 5 pets of my own and currently work at a vet clinic which provides me with additional resources . I know how to feed, clean up after, and medicate animals. I have worked with all sizes and ages of dogs and cats. I have experience with all kinds of breeds and animals with different physical and nutritional needs. I I work part time at a vet clinic and coaching on the weekends. Monday- Thursday I am able to be home in the morning and night with a possible stop by in the afternoon to let animals out or check in on them. On the weekends I am there in the morning and home either mid afternoon or in the evening to check on animals and be there for the night. I keep them calm and comfortable by being in their own home. Keep them on their normal routine so they won't feel more uncomfortable without their owners home. I make sure they get plenty of exercise, attention and love, and make sure they get any meditation they need. I keep the house tidy and clean up any messes made by the animal while there.

“Please read! I will be there first to admit I was skeptical of using Rover. I carefully scanned through profiles of those willing to watch the two dogs we have, a Great Dane and a boxer. Cilyr was so much more than we could have asked for! She and I agreed having a meet and greet prior was a great choice to make sure the dogs would have an easier transition. Cilyr went to every length to ensure she had asked questions we may not have thought of: do the dogs have allergies? Require specific routines? But I was really blown away when she brought to my attention that she does not have a truck large enough for our Great Dane in the event he would need to get to a vet emergently however, she has already arranged with a friend and neighbor that she could borrow theirs should an emergency arise. I knew at that moment She was that absolutely perfect choice to watch our dogs. This was not just a” side gig” for her, she genuinely cares so much for animals and helping others! When I brought the boys back for their week long stay they took about a day and a half to fully adjust. I know this because Cilyr went above and beyond to make sure I knew the boys were doing well and sent pictures! It was so heartwarming to get those little messages and pictures and know our boys were in great hands. Through those pictures you could see our dogs easing into their day and feeling safe and loved. Before we had even returned from our vacation we had discussed that we will hands down take our dogs back to her any time we need to leave them. The personal touches are unmatched to anything we’ve experienced in the past and we will absolutely recommend her every chance we get! Thank you Cilyr!”
