“Please read! I will be there first to admit I was skeptical of using Rover. I carefully scanned through profiles of those willing to watch the two dogs we have, a Great Dane and a boxer. Cilyr was so much more than we could have asked for! She and I agreed having a meet and greet prior was a great choice to make sure the dogs would have an easier transition. Cilyr went to every length to ensure she had asked questions we may not have thought of: do the dogs have allergies? Require specific routines? But I was really blown away when she brought to my attention that she does not have a truck large enough for our Great Dane in the event he would need to get to a vet emergently however, she has already arranged with a friend and neighbor that she could borrow theirs should an emergency arise. I knew at that moment She was that absolutely perfect choice to watch our dogs. This was not just a” side gig” for her, she genuinely cares so much for animals and helping others! When I brought the boys back for their week long stay they took about a day and a half to fully adjust. I know this because Cilyr went above and beyond to make sure I knew the boys were doing well and sent pictures! It was so heartwarming to get those little messages and pictures and know our boys were in great hands. Through those pictures you could see our dogs easing into their day and feeling safe and loved. Before we had even returned from our vacation we had discussed that we will hands down take our dogs back to her any time we need to leave them. The personal touches are unmatched to anything we’ve experienced in the past and we will absolutely recommend her every chance we get! Thank you Cilyr!”

About: I am currently a full-time Team Coordinator that works remotely out of my home, or any place with wifi! Working remotely has provided me with a lot of spare time, not having to commute to and from work, so I am looking to fill some of that time caring for animals. I currently have two dogs and two cats at home. I have experience with all types of dogs including small dogs, like my dad's Peekapoo, and large dogs, like my brother's Great Dane. I've taken care of puppies as well as senior dogs with extra care needed included insulin injections and eye drops. I am available for entire weekends, individual weekend days, full weeks and individual week days. I look forward to meeting you and your pet(s) and please don't hesitate to ask me any questions! If weekdays are needed, I have the flexibility to work from your home which gives me the opportunity to be there all day long if needed. Only working from 7:30am to 4:00pm with no commute gives me plenty of extra hours for pet/house care. I will treat your pets and home with the utmost respect as if they were my own. I would ask for any special requirements that pertain to housesitting and pet sitting ahead of time so I can follow them when I am there. I always make sure to lock doors and stay vigilant, especially at other peoples’ homes. About: Though I’ve only had dogs during my childhood, my life changed when I came across my brown tabby kitty. For the past few years I’ve had the pleasure of raising him, and it’s been one of the best experiences of my life. Since then I have done many other cat sitting jobs for neighbors, and friends! I have opened up more of my time during the week to have a pretty open schedule I have a fenced in yard and a very clean and friendly home. About: I’ve grown up in a household that has always had at least two dogs, usually 3. We also have 3 indoor-outdoor cats. I am now a student at UW Madison, and I have a 5yr old heeler shepherd mix. Throughout her life I have trained her for obedience and herding, and have dealt with low confidence and reactivity with her daily. I am experienced with dogs who are shy and tend to be reactive. I am studying for a Food Science PhD at UW Madison, so I’m able to take whatever requests work outside of my classes! Most weekends are free, and I update my calendar regularly to reflect class and exam schedules. I have experience training dogs and love hanging out with any breed of dog. I believe dogs need both mental and physical stimulation in order to be fulfilled.
About: I use to work at a vet clinic with boarding and daycare for a year. I know how to take care of dogs and entertain them. And of course cats aswell. I’m available most of the time. I have another job but in the morning and mid-afternoon. I am on summer break but once school starts, I might be limited. I will make sure they feel comfortable and let me smell me before I pet them. I will make sure they have food, water, and etc.

About: My pet-sitting experiences include looking after both cats and dogs day to day and for extended periods of time. When taking care of cats, I make sure they have clean water and food at all times; keep their environment clean; watch over them and see if they are healthy; and interact with them by playing with them on a daily basis. About: I love all animals! At home, I currently have a feisty tabby cat, and the sweetest Akita around❤️ Both require lots of love, time, and attention, but life wouldn’t be the same without them. Prior to starting on this app, I have gained experience, in the past, when I was employed as a dog sitter at a local daycare in Wisconsin Dells. I also have done yearly sitting jobs up to a week for various neighbors around town for foster dogs of all ages, and breeds, and cats! I currently have a part-time job. I consistently work on the weekends from 8:00am to 2pm on Saturdays, and Sundays. Occasionally I pick up extra shifts during the weekdays, but shifts are consistent to 5 hour increments. If I have any extra shifts scheduled, I will be sure to inform you prior to my stay. I am more than willing to come in between those times. I do not currently open my own home as I have a large Akita that requires to be the spotlight. But when stating client homes, I am open to the majority of situations. I ask that if your pet requires special instructions, or precautions, list them clearly, and I will work around them!
