About: I've taken care of and owned many dogs over the years. I have had pets all of my life, dogs, cats, fish, turtles, guinea pigs...you name it! Neighbors, friends and family have continuously entrusted my wife and I to care for their pets. We will board only one family’s dog(s) at a time so you can be sure they get the attention they need. Our four kids are age 7-13 and will also provide extra attention and playtime for your dog. With six in the household you can rest assured knowing your dog will have attention at all times. Our 4 acre yard provides ample space for leashed exploring and there is abundant wildlife in the area providing new smells to investigate. Your dog will be walked a minimum of once in the morning and once at night with bathroom breaks every 2-4 hours or as needed. During the week my wife and I have the ability to work from home to provide care for your dog during the day. We do require dogs to potty trained and not have a history of aggression. They also need to be trained to not chew on non toys unless they are still puppies which we fully understand and can work with! We look forward to having an opportunity to meet you and keeping you pets well loved! No matter what our day looks like, there is always someone available to provide the attention and consistency of car for your dog(s), which is the number one priority. We also have a furnished basement that can be closed off if needed. Or a quiet capped garage and workshop room depending on the sleeping arrangements your dog is accustomed to. She listened to and agreed with me when we discussed how rabbits should never be handled by the scruff since they don't have a scruff. While we were away she came in and kept the bunnies fed, treated and clean! Both rabbits were excited when I came in the door from our trip and they asked for treats and greets. About: I’ve always had a pet my entire life and am used to having to train younger dogs. I’ve taken care of my own dog for five years now and potty trained her as well as feed her everyday. I also have dog sat for close friends and neighbors who need help. I’m used to a little bit of a hectic house and love getting to know each dogs different personality! I really enjoy going on walks and even better if it’s with a dog! I take my dog on walks often and like snuggle time just as much. I always feed her in the morning and the evening and always check to make sure she has enough water. About: I own two high-energy dogs, Josie and Stella, both raised from puppies, so I know how stressful puppy-parenting can be. I work a lot but I’m normally available depending on the day and time. You just message me and I can make something work! I’m pretty flexible. It would be nice to have a 2 weeks notice! My dog Oakley is a cattle dog so therefore she needs walks a lot. My family owns a private camp grounds, so if your dog has a lot of energy let me know I bet I could make something work!
About: I am open to most pets. Cats, Dogs, Horses, Calves, Lambs, Guinea Pigs, Turtles, etc..... If extra special care or out of state, I do charge travel fees. I do have experience with older pets and young ones. I have been known to raise Opossums from the size of mice to adults. If that gives you an idea! I am open to new proposals and willing to negotiate new situations! (Unencountered situations when it comes to pets) I also House-sit, plants, pets etc... I do travel out of state to Illinois (Mostly the North suburbs of Chicago) and Wisconsin. This is where I have done house-sitting. Pets and Plants can be included in this care. I do add travel expenses, mainly for gas, when traveling for house sitting. I get up in the morning and get my coffee going and then tend to pets that are around. They get fed first thing, inside and outside. Feral cats seem to be present in the morning. Litter boxes are checked. Water Bowls. Mostly I go to people's homes and care for the pets at their houses, but I have had people bring them to me. I have an extra room set up in my barn if there are anxieties or stress with animals and they need a quiet place. I am in the process of updating that room a little more. It is heated for the winter months. I do have hand brushes and combs for extra attention and I do go talk to whoever is around. If dogs come, they can be walked. Although I live in a small town, I am close to nice places to walk on the edge of town.

About: I have recently started dog sitting in my home. I have helped friends and now opening my home to more furry companions to help your family. I am a teacher in Dubuque and have the summers off. During the school year I work from 7:30-4:00 and home full time in the summer months. My home has a fenced in yard and is in the perfect location for walking. I am willing to accommodate any of your family requests for your pet including giving medication, daily walks, play time, and special attention.

I’ve provided both day and night care, and handled meals, walks, potty breaks, medications, and cleaning. Hello!! I currently have a dog and a cat of my own but they are very friendly and loving with all animals big or small. I would love to board your animals in my home! But, they must be friendly with both dogs and cats as I have one of each who are very sweet and get along with everyone! All supplies will need to be dropped off with your furry friend as well as I don’t have extra kennels (if your pup uses one) or extra supplies.
