“Please read! I will be there first to admit I was skeptical of using Rover. I carefully scanned through profiles of those willing to watch the two dogs we have, a Great Dane and a boxer. Cilyr was so much more than we could have asked for! She and I agreed having a meet and greet prior was a great choice to make sure the dogs would have an easier transition. Cilyr went to every length to ensure she had asked questions we may not have thought of: do the dogs have allergies? Require specific routines? But I was really blown away when she brought to my attention that she does not have a truck large enough for our Great Dane in the event he would need to get to a vet emergently however, she has already arranged with a friend and neighbor that she could borrow theirs should an emergency arise. I knew at that moment She was that absolutely perfect choice to watch our dogs. This was not just a” side gig” for her, she genuinely cares so much for animals and helping others! When I brought the boys back for their week long stay they took about a day and a half to fully adjust. I know this because Cilyr went above and beyond to make sure I knew the boys were doing well and sent pictures! It was so heartwarming to get those little messages and pictures and know our boys were in great hands. Through those pictures you could see our dogs easing into their day and feeling safe and loved. Before we had even returned from our vacation we had discussed that we will hands down take our dogs back to her any time we need to leave them. About: I’ve rehabilitated dogs and cats of all sorts of walks of life throughout my rescuer career. We have helped deaf, blind, epileptic, and many other medical cases. All proceeds from pet sitting will be donated to Latoyas Legacy Sanctuary and Rescue in Pardeeville Wi to continue helping their mission. I work from home most of the time and have plenty of time to care for your pups (or kitties). If I am not working from home they are still let out and played with at 8am, noon-1pm, and 5pm, we also keep a close eye on nanny cams to make sure everyone is doing okay. We have a fenced in area for your pups to freely run, if recall is a worry. We also have 10 acres of not fenced in area for your dogs to play in if recall is not an issue. We do on daily walks (2-3 miles). We do have a separate “cat” room with a small doggy door if your cat is a little on the shy side, this will allow them to decompress, and come out when they feel more comfortable. During boarding days we schedule for either our schedules to be work from home, to assure your pup is the most comfortable during their stay. We have 3 friendly dogs to keep your dog company. We also offer outside cameras, and indoor pet cameras to monitor your pets while we are away.

About: I genuine care and give attention to every dog as if they were my own. I’m patient, reliable, and attentive to each dog’s individual needs. I’m comfortable working with puppies who are still learning routines, including basic training and potty schedules, and I’m also gentle and mindful with senior dogs who may need slower walks, medication reminders, or extra comfort. About: Hello pet parents! This is Avery and you are probably here to find someone who will take care of your pet(s) just like you would. I am your person! I have grown up with dogs my entire life ranging from miniature dachshunds to saint bernards! I have experience from watching family and friends pets to taking special care of my two puppers. I have also volunteered a great deal of time at my former city’s local humane society walking and playing with all different breeds of dogs. I know how stressful it can be finding someone to care for pets during the busy days, so I would love to help others not have to worry so much because I’ve been there! I have two doggos of my own, Lola and Arthur. I’ve had Lola since I was 15 and she went through my college years and now into adulthood and Arthur later joined us. Joseph (Jay) is my partner who also shares our Rover account due to living in the same household. He joined because the account too because if we have people’s pets over, we want them to be comfortable with both of us! Or if you have two dogs that need care we can both come over and give them individual attention, depending on your preferences. I am opening up my schedule for boarding pet care- currently for small dogs only. I am also open to drop in visits on week day afternoons and some weekends- Mount Horeb only. We follow a consistent routine of going out and exploring. We walk in the morning and night with potty breaks in between every 3-4 hours. About: I’ve grown up in a household that has always had at least two dogs, usually 3. We also have 3 indoor-outdoor cats. I am now a student at UW Madison, and I have a 5yr old heeler shepherd mix. Throughout her life I have trained her for obedience and herding, and have dealt with low confidence and reactivity with her daily. I am experienced with dogs who are shy and tend to be reactive. I am studying for a Food Science PhD at UW Madison, so I’m able to take whatever requests work outside of my classes! Most weekends are free, and I update my calendar regularly to reflect class and exam schedules. I have experience training dogs and love hanging out with any breed of dog. I believe dogs need both mental and physical stimulation in order to be fulfilled.

On my days off, I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, playtime and plenty of attention! I am home most of the time and my husband works from home so someone will usually be here. With the occasional instances of going out a few hours at a time. We do keep our dogs crated while we are gone and have cameras on the kennel/dog room to keep an eye on them. I know every dog has their own routine, personality and comfort level. I’m happy to follow your established routine and any specific instructions for feeding, walks, medications, crates or training.
