We left our sweet Piper with Krystal for a week and Piper seemed to adjust well and was in good spirits when we picked her up. I was amazed by how unfazed she was by the cold, wet weather that hung over the Fox Valley the week we were away; seemingly taking the additional 4 muddy paws in stride! After an initial meet and greet, we felt very comfortable with Jeff and Ember loved his fenced in yard. We liked the photo and written updates we received while vacationing. About: I've taken care of animals of all different species and sizes throughout my life, I've always found a deeper connection with animals, and the more I care for them, the more I see that. For Dogs, I can get along with most, although I am admittedly spooked by bigger or more aggressive dogs (Cane Corso's for reference). And as for cat's, I'm always willing to take carr of another feline friend, my closest animal companions in life have been cats! I can respect a cats boundaries very well. Notes: For dogs with Clicker training, I do own a clicker. I cannot allow other cats in my home, as one of my cats is not friendly with others. I'm typically up very early to feed my cat and spend whatever free time I have giving him attention and love while I relax. I am currently unemployed, so I can tend to pets around the clock! My yard is not fenced, I can keep a dog close if need be. I am more than willing to take pets on walks to the park, or outdoors in general. I can adapt to most any animals schedule pretty easily. My house is pretty large, so most animals will have plenty of space to roam and get comfy, and I can make accommodations for any special pet gear needed. List of tasks or care instructions would be highly appreciated, and would help me stick to a given schedule.

She cared for our Golden Retriever, Winston, for four days and kept me updated with plenty of photos, videos, and thoughtful messages throughout his stay. She was patient when he got a little testy and took her time introducing him to the other pups in her home so he could settle in comfortably. About: My family and I had a dog of our own for about 13 years during my childhood, allowing me to gain experience in feeding, training, and walking dogs. Now that she has sadly passed away, I would love to give other pets the same love I am no longer able to give to my own pet. I currently work part-time and have plenty of time to smother your pets with my love! Late mornings and early afternoons are the times that typically work best for me, but I am flexible and willing to try anything! I will only allow pets that are fine being outside because my house does not allow pets indoors. I have a large yard surrounded by fields in a rural area where pets are free to roam in sight as long as they’re well-trained.

About: I have been an emergency and critical care veterinary technician for 10 years so I’m very comfortable with senior pets or pets with medical needs. I work relief at two pet hospitals and have 3 children so no 2 days looks alike for me and that’s how I like it. I love to be outdoors and love finding new places to walk and explore with my little crew. I live in the country so my backyard includes trials, fields, and woods to play in. I also love to travel so I know how stressful it is to leave your pup with someone else so I’ll be sure to send lots of pictures and as many updates as you’d like! I work relief/per diem at multiple emergency pet hospitals and I have 3 kids so not one single day looks like the next. My schedule is set about 2 months in advance so just ask about days you need! I have one dog who is high energy, but independent enough to do her own thing. She loves to play fetch, walk the trails in the woods, and car rides. I will always introduce my dog to yours through a baby gate, once they get smells/intro’s over with I like to have them meet outside for a potty break, this method takes the protective instincts away. Guards come down. A little trick I learned from working at the Vet Clinic that hasn’t let me down yet. I can keep them separate from one another also if you wish/request. Though my dog is a fixed/spayed female. I have a split level 4 bedroom house that allows a lot of space in the two living room areas in case your pet prefers their own space to eat/protective. I live 8 min from the Shawano dog park and less than 5 min from the dog beach.

About: I’m the type of person who goes to a party and makes friends with the dog. My friends know I’m around when they see a blanket covering up their sleeping pup. My family has nicknamed me dog girl because I take on the challenge of caring for all of them during family functions. I have experience with dogs who need medication, eye drops, ear drops, or who have health issues. I work from home so I am able to hangout with your pet all day! I have a very flexible work schedule if appointments are needed. I prefer to care for dogs in my home but can watch in your home, let out during the day, and check on your home if away. At my home I leash all pets when letting them out. Dogs are allowed on my furniture, I even have a chair next to my work desk incase they want to lounge around on the job.

I do not allow my dogs to do strenuous activity or rough play right after a meal. The yard is not fenced, so dogs will be on leash or long-line and fully supervised when outside the home. For off-lead outdoor fun we will take trips to the local dog park (not a very heavily trafficed dog park, usually empty). I have experience providing oral and subcutaneous medication to pets, should your pet need medication while in my care.

About: I've spent my entire life around animals of all kinds. From teacup poodle to full grown Bernese mountain dog, kitten to Maine Coon, shy or social butterfly, I have seen and loved them all. I have experience with all sorts of medical needs as well. I grew up with 1 tripod, 1 blind, and 1 asthmatic cat, so I'm no stranger to giving medicine. I'm currently working part-time so I have plenty of time to play with your fur babies and give them everything they need. I am usually unavailable on weekends, but I'm always available for midday check ins or walks while parents are working. I have a rather small yard, so my dog Mimosa gets walked around the block everyday. My cats have their own spaces where Mimosa can't get to them if they need alone time and easy access to litter boxes, food, and water. I work from 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM (about 25 hours a week), which leaves my entire midday window from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM wide open for lunchtime walks, playtime, and companionship. I am also available for quick check-ins before my morning shift, and my evenings are completely free after 6:30 PM for late-night cuddles and dedicated overnight stays. Because my daily job already centers around professional feeding, medicating, and cleaning, keeping your pet's routine seamless and sanitary between my shifts is second nature to me! About: I have worked with numerous animals since I was 5 years old. I have owned chickens, rabbits, horses, dogs, and cats my entire life. I am a 4-H leader where I teach children how to train dogs and I help them show and prepare their animals at fair. I also show my own animals at the fair. Additionally, I have pet sat for numerous family members over the years as well as friends. I will always be there for your pet and I will make sure they are well taken care of and loved just like they are my own. I am a teacher who is currently on summer break. So my schedule is pretty open during the summer and I have a lot of availability. During the school year, most of my weekends are free as well as when we have breaks. I am flexible and willing to make things work for you! I live on a little hobby farm with my husband. I have 3 dogs and 3 cats who are very friendly. I have everything needed in my home to take care of a dog including a kennel if needed as well as tie outs. We have a lake that is 5 minutes from our house and if your dog loves to swim, I would be happy to take them. I take my dogs all over in the summer and I would make sure your pet gets a lot of attention and exercise as well. Additionally, we have a huge barn and fenced in pasture as well as rabbit hutches in the barn and a chicken coop! Whatever animal you have they can be comfortable at my property. Additionally, if you feel better about your animal staying at home, I am happy to accommodate to that as well.

Right now I have an Australian Shepherd and a German Shepard, I love them very much but now that I've moved out of my parents house I don't see them every single day and im missing some pet love!! “For a recent week - long vacation, we left our 3 year old golden doodle with Jeff. This was our first time using Rover and leaving her in someone else's home. After an initial meet and greet, we felt very comfortable with Jeff and Ember loved his fenced in yard. We liked the photo and written updates we received while vacationing. About: I've taken care of animals of all different species and sizes throughout my life, I've always found a deeper connection with animals, and the more I care for them, the more I see that. For Dogs, I can get along with most, although I am admittedly spooked by bigger or more aggressive dogs (Cane Corso's for reference). And as for cat's, I'm always willing to take carr of another feline friend, my closest animal companions in life have been cats! I can respect a cats boundaries very well. Notes: For dogs with Clicker training, I do own a clicker. I cannot allow other cats in my home, as one of my cats is not friendly with others. I'm typically up very early to feed my cat and spend whatever free time I have giving him attention and love while I relax. I am currently unemployed, so I can tend to pets around the clock! My yard is not fenced, I can keep a dog close if need be. I am more than willing to take pets on walks to the park, or outdoors in general. I can adapt to most any animals schedule pretty easily. My house is pretty large, so most animals will have plenty of space to roam and get comfy, and I can make accommodations for any special pet gear needed. List of tasks or care instructions would be highly appreciated, and would help me stick to a given schedule.

She cared for our Golden Retriever, Winston, for four days and kept me updated with plenty of photos, videos, and thoughtful messages throughout his stay. She was patient when he got a little testy and took her time introducing him to the other pups in her home so he could settle in comfortably.
