About: I have had dogs my whole life, have helped train family pets, and am certified as a Comfort Dog handler. I have watched dogs from the wee size of a Chihuahua to big fluffy Newfoundlands. I love using patience and kindness to ensure your pups safety and well-being. I agrew up with the high energy of Border Collies, both young and older. I have dogsat at someone's house up to 5 dogs at a time, with varying food needs and medications. I try my best to be flexible and up for anything you need to ensure your furry friend is taken care of the same way I would care for my own. From walks, to watching them in my home, I am here to help you remain confident in your dog's care. For boarding, I do have two dogs that live in residence and would be available for a meet and greet prior to booking. I work a hybrid schedule, so some days I am fully working from home and other days I am in the office and usually pop home in the early afternoon to let my dogs out and finish the day working from home. Dogs get fed before I start work and dinner when I finish. If I work from home I usually take a break outside at some point to play with the pups and after work we can do walks or dog park or hanging out in the yard. I have a fenced yard and two other pups in the home who are relatively chill. Dogs are allowed on the furniture and get lots of snuggles. My own dogs are crate-trained but rarely use them. They are often left on the living room couch when I leave, with a baby gate keeping them in. Can use crates if needed, I own a size small and a size large. My dogs are 25 and 12 pounds. The smaller of the two is a rescue and is extremely chill and friendly to all other dogs. The bigger dog can be sensitive with other dogs sniffing his butt but the most he does is bark at them to move away. He usually minds his own space and doesn't play with other dogs much but also doesn't bother them.

She left the house clean and in order. Everything was done properly. She was good at communicating with me and sent some cute pictures. I am so happy I found her and have another trip coming up, so I hope she is available! My schedule is extremely flexible and I only work part time, so I can care for your pets at almost any time of day, especially mornings and afternoons. In a client's home, the pets are in a familiar environment with an unfamiliar person. So, the first thing I do is give the pets a chance to get used to me! About: Have administered specialized medicine to senior animals for ongoing diseases such as kidney disease and hyperthyroidism. Was very diligent nursing my senior kitty before he passed. I work and go to school so my schedule varies but I always have some nights and mornings free each week that I would love to use on animals. Constant Care policy: if you are needing constant care that would require me to not leave for more than 4 hours, please book atleast 2 weeks ahead of whatever dates you need so I can accommodate that. “Amanda and her son were amazing with our dog Charlie! He's a big boy and can be a lot to handle but they didn't seem to have any issues. This was his first stay with them. He settled in almost immediately. It was just a short stay overnight and he actually ate a couple times. Often he food strikes for the first day or two so this shows he felt at ease with them. “Heather was absolutely amazing with our dog, Arlo, while we were out of state for a funeral. Leaving him was incredibly difficult for us because we had never left him before, but Heather gave us peace of mind from the very beginning. She reassured us many times before and during our trip, which meant so much during such a hard time. She sent multiple pictures every single day along with detailed updates, and it was clear Arlo was being treated like part of the family. Heather and her family took such wonderful care of him, and we could truly see how loved and comfortable he was while we were away. We honestly could not have asked for a better experience. Heather made a painful and stressful time so much easier for us, and we are beyond grateful we found her. We would give her 10 stars if we could and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and compassionate to watch their pet.”

Crate Availability: I have a crate on hand if your pup prefers a secure den for sleeping or downtime. I am the proud owner of two energetic Siberian Huskies, Skyler and Dexter. They love making new friends! I regularly host boarding and daycare guests for family and friends. Every visiting dog has gotten along wonderfully with my pack. Guest Dog Requirements: To ensure a safe, harmonious, and fun environment for everyone, I only accept guest dogs that meet the following criteria: Size: Medium, large, and giant breeds only (no small breeds, as my huskies are large and high-energy). Health: All dogs must be spayed or neutered. I am at home full time and available for consistent supervision. I can provide regular potty breaks as well as supervised playtime in our outdoor fenced yard, weather permitting. I have both a fenced in yard and several baby gates throughout the house. The gates are situated in a way that blocks immediate access to the garage and front door in the event of one of the dogs being an escape artist. I have a large crate for dogs who prefer more of a den space for breaks, however my dogs can and do sleep on various couches, chairs, and beds throughout the house. I also have dog beds and cooling mats available for rest time.
