We left our sweet Piper with Krystal for a week and Piper seemed to adjust well and was in good spirits when we picked her up. About: I've been taking care of dogs on my own since middle school. We've always had a family dog in the household as well as friends and neighbors who would need help with their little ones. I have a BS in Animal Science, have worked as an emergency vet assistant/triage tech for the last 3 years, and have some professional dog training experience. I currently have 2 guinea pigs, and a 2-year-old AND 1-year-old pitty/lab mix that love to come to work with me and go on all sorts of outdoor adventures! About: I’ve had two dogs for the past 5 years back home and I am now taking care of my own dog. I have experience feeding, walking, training, bathing, etc. I occasionally work from home, and when I do, I will be able to watch and play with your pets all day! I am very flexible, and my schedule is open. My own dog loves to play and is very friendly! We go on 30+ minute walks everyday and I let the dogs out to go potty every 4 hours. About: For years I have walked and taken care of my neighborhoods dogs. I even had a dog myself and would take him on walks everyday. We left our sweet Piper with Krystal for a week and Piper seemed to adjust well and was in good spirits when we picked her up. I think she even missed Krystal and Duke for a day or so after we returned home! Krystal kept us abreast of how Piper was doing and was responsive to our questions. I was amazed by how unfazed she was by the cold, wet weather that hung over the Fox Valley the week we were away; seemingly taking the additional 4 muddy paws in stride! We would happily re-book with Krystal the next time we need to leave town.”

About: I’ve walked dogs since I was 8 years olds, started house sitting at 13 for dogs, cats, and small animals. I considered my years of experience after adulthood for frosting cats and dogs. As well as my personal experience with horses, goats, chickens, rabbits, and more. I love them all and my kids do too. We are currently a single dog household with no cats, much to my kids disappointment. We are hoping that providing our children a wide range of experiences they will understand what the long term responsibilities will look like before adding another permanent furry family member. I work from home 95% of the time, only going in office once a month. My children are all young so we aren’t gone all weekend at sporting events and spend most of the time at home. While I do not have a fenced yard directly tied to the house there is lots of room on site to explore on walks and get exercise. There is also a fully enclosed fenced paddock if they enjoy playing fetch off leash. Our furniture is pet friendly but we will respect your rules. A ranch level house so only a drop down step into the living rooms and a few off the back porch making this a smooth retreat for your little legged friend or senior dog.

I only work a fees shifts a week so I can be there for your pets a majority of the day!! I have a 1 bedroom apartment but it’s always clean, and there’s plenty of room! I do have a cat of my own so I would prefer to watch your pet at your home!
