“Skipper had a blast with Christine. She is very attentive and very calm. She responded quickly to my inquiry. She is perfect for a dog with anxiety issues. I appreciated her flexibility and her requirement to see vaccination records. Skipper loved having other dogs to play with and we loved getting photos during his stay. We will definitely call on her again for Skipper's staycation! ”

“Laura welcomed our Barley into her home with open arms. She allowed us to come with Barley and check things out before having Barley stay with her. Shadow, Laura's massive golden retriever, is the friendliest pup around and gave Barley the opportunity to learn all the tricks around the house! :) We are so very lucky to have found Laura (and Shadow) and plan to have this be Barley's home away from home in the future!”

“Amazing people who love and care for my pup while he is with them - they also send the cutest pictures and updates! They were also super understanding when I got stuck in traffic on the way to pick my dog up.”

“I truly can't say enough wonderful things about Henry's stay with Ryan and Martha's family! They were so kind and accommodating when my travel plans changed several times, and I could tell that Henry was very loved and well cared for. They sent updates and pictures throughout the week, and they were very responsive. It was the best peace of mind having him stay with them, and I will definitely be rebooking in the future!”

“Nicole did a great job taking care of our dog, Kevin, and keeping us updated on his stay along with plenty of photos each day. Her and her family seemed to give Kevin lots of exercise and attention. Highly recommend!”

“Heather and her family welcomed Darcy back to their home with open arms. She sent photos of Darcy throughout her stay so we could see how she was doing. She looked so happy and comfortable in their home. This was her second stay and we’ve already booked another. We are so grateful to have found this home away from home for Darcy!”

“We left our dog Toffee with Jenny and her family for 5 days while we attended a work conference, and we could not have asked for a better experience! This was our first time using Rover and leaving Toffee with someone we didn’t know, so we were definitely nervous at first. Jenny immediately made us feel comfortable with constant updates, pictures, and videos throughout the entire stay. Toffee had the absolute best time running around in her huge backyard, playing with her kids and her two dogs, and getting so much love and attention. It truly felt like he was treated as part of their family. You can tell Jenny genuinely cares about the dogs she watches. We were able to fully enjoy our trip knowing Toffee was happy, safe, and so well cared for. We are beyond grateful and will absolutely be booking with Jenny and her lovely family again in the future. Highly recommend!”

“AMAZING!!! Lindsey is a very sweet person and an incredible dog care taker. We left for a family trip for few days and our dog stayed with her. We did not have any worries. We got updates from her daily and our dog had so much fun playing with Lindsey’s dog. Great communication too. If I could, I would give her 10 stars!!!”

“Michelle (and family) took excellent care of our dog while we were out of town for 2 days, even keeping her calm during a storm. Great communication, too!”

“We had a wonderful experience! This family took excellent care of our mini goldendoodle while we were on vacation—so kind, attentive, and thoughtful. They sent plenty of pictures and updates, which gave us total peace of mind and showed he was happy and having fun. Highly recommend!”

“Karen was able to accommodate my last minute request and took good care of Paw Paw and Pepper. Being a dog breeder, she knows the dogs habits instantly and is very caring. Highly recommend.”

“Jodi was absolutely wonderful to our dogs during their stay. They felt right at ease the moment they were dropped off. We were given great updates and photos during our trip. Jodi had great activities to keep them busy during days that had weather, which was an extra nice. I usually worry so much about our dogs while I’m away from them, but I didn’t have that worry at all while they were at Jodi’s home.”

“We knew we had the right sitter for Bella when we received a picture of Bella sleeping on Robert's sofa and later relaxing near his wife while she was working at her desk, just like she does at home. As mentioned in so many reviews, Robert communicates well, is responsive, friendly, and truly cares about our Bella.”

“Christina & Jeremy did a great job with my dog! He was dealing with a rash, so he had just been prescribed medication. It is hard to trust sitters to keep up with your dog’s medication regimen, but when my dog came back, his rash was looking much better. Christina and Jeremy are a trustworthy couple for you to leave your pets with!”

“Please read! I will be there first to admit I was skeptical of using Rover. I carefully scanned through profiles of those willing to watch the two dogs we have, a Great Dane and a boxer. Cilyr was so much more than we could have asked for! She and I agreed having a meet and greet prior was a great choice to make sure the dogs would have an easier transition. Cilyr went to every length to ensure she had asked questions we may not have thought of: do the dogs have allergies? Require specific routines? But I was really blown away when she brought to my attention that she does not have a truck large enough for our Great Dane in the event he would need to get to a vet emergently however, she has already arranged with a friend and neighbor that she could borrow theirs should an emergency arise. I knew at that moment She was that absolutely perfect choice to watch our dogs. This was not just a” side gig” for her, she genuinely cares so much for animals and helping others! When I brought the boys back for their week long stay they took about a day and a half to fully adjust. I know this because Cilyr went above and beyond to make sure I knew the boys were doing well and sent pictures! It was so heartwarming to get those little messages and pictures and know our boys were in great hands. Through those pictures you could see our dogs easing into their day and feeling safe and loved. Before we had even returned from our vacation we had discussed that we will hands down take our dogs back to her any time we need to leave them. The personal touches are unmatched to anything we’ve experienced in the past and we will absolutely recommend her every chance we get! Thank you Cilyr!”

“Alicia reliably came on each date and thoroughly checked that all cats were in a happy, healthy state. Alicia did a great job of communicating that the cats were fine so as to keep my vacation free of worry.”

About: I have had my own pets since college, but grew up with dogs. I’ve had a range of dogs from border collies, to labs, to Great Danes, to Basset hounds. I also have had numerous cats. All of my dogs have lived long, exceptionally spoiled lives, and I follow current dog training suggestions for behavior. I’ve raised a few litters of Danes, and most recently, a litter of Bassets. I have a full time job during the week so am really only available on weekends, but depending on location, exceptions can be made especially if it is for just check-ins. I’m willing to come to your home and follow your pet rules so your pets stay comfortable and safe, and don’t have their routine disrupted.

About: I’ve taken care of cats since I was a kid. I’ve raised kittens and cared for special needs cats. I especially enjoy playing with the more active kitties, but will gladly snuggle the mellow cats too.

“We used to have Leonardo stay in his crate while we were at work, but we knew he deserved something better. After looking through several profiles, Jamie really stood out. Once we read more about her, we felt confident Leo would have an amazing time with her and her dogs. Now he comes home completely tired and even falls asleep in the car, which says everything! Jamie is so kind and welcoming. we couldn’t have asked for a better person to care for him. We would absolutely recommend her. Thank you, Jamie, for treating Leo like your own while we’re at work!”

“Karen was able to accommodate my last minute request and took good care of Paw Paw and Pepper. Being a dog breeder, she knows the dogs habits instantly and is very caring. Highly recommend.”

“Emily and her family were so great with Jarvis! They sent plenty of update pictures and he seemed to have an amazing time!! We will definitely be looking to have them take care of Jarvis again :)”

About: I’ve had animals in every corner of my life, throughout my whole life! I’ve taken care of many dogs and cats all with various needs such as medications, appointments, and mobile assistance. I have also volunteered with Wisconsin WildCare and local humane societies. I am a passionate & fearless animal advocate with speed dial access to a large animal vet and a retired DNR officer. I will treat your pet as my own whether it’s in my home or your home. I work a full time job only seven minutes from my home. My job is incredibly flexible and understanding of my need to let animals out or even leave work early for pet care! I have a balcony that animals can hang out on and a large grassy field that I take animals for walks on. I always keep them leashed. If I want them to be unleashed, I can take them to the local dog park five minutes from my house! I am comfortable with animals on furniture and sleeping in bed with me. I have access to my own crate if the animal is crate trained.
“I can’t say enough great things about Candi and the care she took with our two dogs. I’ve never felt so comfortable with “boarding” my dogs while I was gone for a long trip. I knew they were being treated like part of her family. She sent videos and pictures to keep me updated. My big dog ended up having some stomach issues and Candi didn’t skip a beat. We called my vet and she picked up some meds and got her back on track. Her four dogs were great with mine - they had such a blast. Not sure who enjoyed the vacation more, me or the dogs. She also has a beautiful acreage for them to run around and get fresh air. Wish I would have found her earlier! Thank you Candi!”

“Maria Belen is better than we ever hoped for!! She took care of our puppy who requires a lot of work with love, patience and dedication. She was willing to take her even though she is still working on potty and crate training. She sent us tons of great updates, pictures and videos and took lots of time asking questions and getting to know our puppy’s routines and what would be best for her. Maria and her husband both cared for our 4 month old puppy like she was their own! They even gave us the sweetest present of a paw print picture! We would recommend them to everyone and pick them every time!”
