About: 20+ years of experience (that makes me feel old). Unofficial dog sitter for family and friends since high school. Loyal to my fellow dog loving friends sharing word of mouth recommendations, fostered a giant breed and helped find his forever home, loved my first dog for nearly 8 years, and now I would like to fill the void by helping care for your four legged family member. I have experience caring for senior dogs and puppies as well. I work fully remote, so I appreciate the screen breaks. I am able to go out for walks or outdoor time often. After losing my dog this summer, I do miss the quality time and walk routines. We joke that you better love dogs, but it is true. My home is setup to be dog friendly, maybe more rugs for traction on the vinyl plank floors. Animals are part of the family and that is how we treat guest pets as well. Living on 3 acres in the country, so a great space for outdoor activities. I am quite respectful when residing in another’s home and great at following instructions and/or preferred routines.

About: I have taken care of all kinds of farm animals incliuding ,cats and especially dogs. I raised miniture schnauzers in my home for 5 years . My family had so much fun with puppies. I now have an adorable doodle ,Tip who is 5 years old and the most gentle dog I have ever owned. I live on a hobby farm now and I have five chickens and 2 guinneas. Tip really enjoys the chickens and they are not afraid of her at all. I do not have a fenced yard so I would not let a dog out with out being on a leash. We will have frequent playtime and walks around our property. I really like dogs and having dogs in my home. Tip lives in our house and sleeps in our bedroom. I am a retired nurse so I can administer any medication needed. Our vet is just five blocks away if any care is needed. I would only be able to care for dogs as my son is very allergic to cats. I am retired and spend mos.t of my time at home. I have social engagements like church and grandchildren's basketball games on Saturdays. I enjoy our farm and love gardening. Tip is always out with me when I care for the chickens and if I am gardening Tip is very gentle with other dogs. She will play if they want to play but will leave them alone if they are not in the mood to play. Tip goes outside and does not go to the road which runs in front of our house she wears a halo collar and responds very well to her boundries. I will play and walk with a visiting dog but always keep them on a leash for safety.
About: I grew up in a home with all kinds of pets, and I am very responsible with pet care (paying attention to safety, dietary needs, etc). I have owned cats, dogs (from Chihuahua to giant Mastiff) and I've even owned a snake. I am my family and friends "go-to pet sitter", when they are away on trips. “My dog Sparky is an 8 year old German Shepard who was in foster care for years before my family adopted him a couple of years ago. He is timid around most people but immediately warmed up to Elizabeth and her space when she welcomed us to her home for a visit before scheduling to board. Her open yard and love for animals drew us all in and we knew that Sparky would be safe with her while we were out of town. Her communication is fantastic - she sent photos while Sparky was in her care and asked questions when needed. When we came to her home to board Sparky she was already prepared to take him on a walk to make him feel comfy and less anxious, and when we picked up after our trip it was apparent he felt comfortable and had already made himself at home. 10/10 highly recommend.”

It was my responsibility to feed, water and do whatever else that was needed to be done to take care of them. My family lived on a farm when I really young and I was in seventh heaven. I had a calf, a pig, two dogs and various barn cats and we raised rabbits. Being around animals is relaxing for me. 💜 My fur babies have always been like family to me. Working from home during summer has allowed us plenty of time to spend with our dog. We have a 5 year old Yellow Lab who still has the energy of a puppy! About: Please note*** I cannot board pets where I live, all pet sitting (days and overnight) is done at your residence. Hello! I've had dogs and cats all my life. I am the type to keep my dogs active whether it be playing fetch in the yard or throwing the stick in the lake for them to fetch. I believe in lots of play toys and chewys so they never get bored. I also understand the dog who might be more calm, maybe a little shy and likes time alone, and that is very understandable. I am a retired nurse and know pretty well the signs and symptoms of pain or discomfort. I understand the importance of proper nutrition and availability of fresh water. I'm a unique pet/house sitter in that I travel in my beautiful Canadian Roadtrek Campervan and can house "watch" while taking care of your pets. I do not need to stay in your home. Any additional duties other than "watch" your house can be negotiated- like water a few houseplants, etc. I do ask that you provide a household electric (120V) outside plug in. My small RV uses approx. $2-$3 per day of electricity. I love animals. I have a 3 yr. old yellow Labrador myself! I travel often in my RV and we make great travel partners often stopping at dog parks 2-3 times a day on our adventures. Beau would love to have playmates! Currently I am mobile and spend Summers in WI and Winters in AZ. I will come to you. I can stay as long as you need for your pet care - up to 2+ weeks if needed. I can only provide mobile pet/house sitting. I am unable to pet sit in the home I live in. I am a recently retired nurse. I am trained not only in human CPR, but I also have dog and cat CPR training. I have given pets medication, induced vomiting -per instructions while on the phone with a vet tech (after dog ate 1 1/2 lbs of bing cherries - pits and all. Happy ending! :). When I go into a home I find myself scanning countertops and floors for potential hazards for pets - things like medications, foods, hot boiling water on stovetop with handles pointing out, etc... I am constantly monitoring for potential dangers. Sometimes things happen though, unfortunately, that can't be avoided and that's when first aid, CPR, poison control line, and Vet info need to all be available and handy. I ask that all instructions be written down and text/emailed to me 24 hours prior. That way if I have any questions, they can be answered before you leave on your relaxing worry-free vacation!

About: I've cared for dogs of various breeds, sizes and ages for family, friends, and now people on Rover. I must say, I've met some pretty awesome dogs and people through Rover. I am retired, but clean a couple houses and a furniture store on a part-time basis. The longest I'm away is typically 4 to 5 hours on cleaning days. I don't have a dog of my own at this time. My Ella, sadly crossed the rainbow bridge in December of 2021. Crazy how your life totally changes when they are gone. I miss all my dogs more than anything and will some day have another dog or two. She is accommodating and takes care of little things that come up. Our experience with her was exactly what we wanted for our old guy. We were boondocking in the desert, and she parked her rig right next to us. Sarge was able to be in his own "home", but he enjoyed staying with her in her rig. We would definitely recommend her! She has a rig she can "live" in while she takes care of your pets in their own home. Well worth her weight in gold!”

When caring for pets in my own home they are kept separate from my resident pets to minimize stress on all animals. Although if owner is comfortable all resident animals are very friendly.
About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have always had a genuine love for caring for them. I’ve grown up with dogs of all sizes, from small breeds to big dogs, as well as cats. Because I’ve spent my whole life around animals, I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs. I’m patient, attentive, and will treat your pets with the same love and care I would give my own. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply having someone nearby, I’m happy to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m very fortunate to have a flexible work schedule right now, which allows me to make pet care a big part of my day. I’m available most days and can be flexible with drop-ins, walks, feeding, potty breaks, and giving your pets the attention they need. The only days I have limited availability are Tuesdays and Thursdays, as I spend time with family on those days. Outside of that, my schedule is very flexible, so I’m able to work around your pet’s routine and needs. My husband also works a varied schedule, so in the rare event that I’m unexpectedly unavailable, he can usually step in to help with something simple like letting your pup outside or making sure your pet is fed. We’re a team and want to make sure your fur babies are cared for and never left without what they need! 🐾 Your pet’s safety and well-being will always be our top priority. We’re very present and attentive people, and when you choose us to care for your pets, they truly become our priority. We’ll take the time to learn your pet’s routine, personality, and individual needs so they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. We understand how much trust it takes to leave your fur baby with someone else, and we don’t take that trust lightly. Our goal is simple: for you to feel confident and comfortable knowing your pet is safe, loved, and getting plenty of attention while they’re in our care❤️
