About: I have had a cat since I was 10, they quickly stole a spot in my heart. I grew up with dogs but since getting a cat gravitate in their direction. About: Please note*** I cannot board pets where I live, all pet sitting (days and overnight) is done at your residence. Hello! I've had dogs and cats all my life. I am the type to keep my dogs active whether it be playing fetch in the yard or throwing the stick in the lake for them to fetch. I believe in lots of play toys and chewys so they never get bored. I also understand the dog who might be more calm, maybe a little shy and likes time alone, and that is very understandable. I am a retired nurse and know pretty well the signs and symptoms of pain or discomfort. I understand the importance of proper nutrition and availability of fresh water. I lost my 14 yr. old lab to old age 2 years ago, and just recently got a new yellow lab puppy here in March. I really missed having a travel companion! I'm a unique pet/house sitter in that I travel in my beautiful Canadian Roadtrek Campervan and can house "watch" while taking care of your pets. I do not need to stay in your home. Any additional duties other than "watch" your house can be negotiated- like water a few houseplants, etc. I do ask that you provide a household electric (120V) outside plug in. My small RV uses approx. $2-$3 per day of electricity. I love animals. I have a 3 yr. old yellow Labrador myself! I travel often in my RV and we make great travel partners often stopping at dog parks 2-3 times a day on our adventures. Beau would love to have playmates! Currently I am mobile in the Western AZ / Southeastern CA area. I will come to you. I can stay as long as you need for your pet care - up to 2+ weeks if needed. I can only provide mobile pet/house sitting. I am unable to pet sit in the home I live in. I am a recently retired nurse. I am trained not only in human CPR, but I also have dog and cat CPR training. I have given pets medication, induced vomiting -per instructions while on the phone with a vet tech (after dog ate 1 1/2 lbs of bing cherries - pits and all. Happy ending! :). When I go into a home I find myself scanning countertops and floors for potential hazards for pets - things like medications, foods, hot boiling water on stovetop with handles pointing out, etc... I am constantly monitoring for potential dangers. Sometimes things happen though, unfortunately, that can't be avoided and that's when first aid, CPR, poison control line, and Vet info need to all be available and handy. I ask that all instructions be written down and text/emailed to me 24 hours prior. That way if I have any questions, they can be answered before you leave on your relaxing worry-free vacation!
About: I’ve worked with dogs and cats in many different ways. I have owned dogs my entire life, plus a few cats. I volunteer at the Humane Society in Kansas City while at school where I work directly with the shelter dogs. I have house sat for multiple family friends and am ready to take on new pups and cats! I do work part time out of the home. I am able to tend to the pets through out the day as needed. I can provide home made human grade food if needed. Also on leash walks. About: I’ve always been a lover of animals and always had a dog and cat in my house growing up. I’ve worked as a dog groomer for 2 years and miss having the everyday interaction with dogs and cats. I have an emotional support dog of my own, his name is Avett and he’s my little man he came to work at the groomers with me and is friendly with all dogs. Being able to comfort an animal is emotionally fulfilling and being able to treat and cuddle them brings so much joy I love them all as my own. I have a beautiful fenced in yard and home that is able to be a safe haven for your loves when you need help with care. We have fostered 9 dogs in our adult life with two different rescues, and officially adopted a dog in summer 2022, which was our first pet dog as an adult. Currently, we have a cat and dog, so pets that we watch in our home must be cat, dog, and kid friendly. We have a busy household with 3 kids and 2 adults. We have a 1.5 acre lot and love to go on hikes and to fields to run. We have an adult home/off work 4 of 7 days in a typical week. My husband is typically home Wednesdays and weekends. We have a dog of our own who loves to play with other dogs, so exercising the dogs should be easy as long as your dog is dog friendly. We also like to hike and go on walks in the neighborhood. Occasionally go to the dog park, too! Our yard is unfenced, but 1.5 acres. We do have an electric in ground fence if you would like your dog to wear the collar for it, or feel free to bring your own remote e-collar if your dog is used to that. Our yard is unfenced, so we can do a tie out, leash, or electric collar if desired. We do request dogs be crate trained for temporary times when we leave the house

I work a part time waitressing job, mostly in the afternoons. So I am free all day long while you are at work. I am able to flex and change my schedule for you! I am free to watch your dogs in your home so your animal knows its environment is safe. I am also free to just pop over and take your dog for a long walk.
