My older cat is a diabetic with severe skin issues requiring multiple medications on an alternating schedule in addition to her twice a day insulin. She did a good job asking questions and making sure Kitten got the medications she needed on the correct schedule. She successfully gave both oral and injection medication and Kitten was in great shape when I got back (which is not always the case after a vacation due to her detailed care needs). There were some minor things that came up but those were mostly me being very particular about some specifics and in the end, were not that important and didn't affect the care of the cats. The house was clean and the cat food and litter box trash taken out, which I appreciated.”

Boarding is my fulltime job so I am home every day to care for the animals. Pickup and drop off hours are from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Every day is a new adventure! From walks to pool time in the yard, snuggles on the couch or bed and fun holiday activies, your pup will be on their own little vacation while you're away. Safety is always my top concern. While your dogs are with me they will never be left unsupervised; in the case of having to leave for a doctor's appointment etc. they will be crated. I have a fenced in yard with locks on it, so there is no chance of a dog slipping through or opening the gate. I am also trained on signals and body language to prevent dog fights or injuries.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs, and even bought a dog of my own 3 years ago and he’s the best ever! He’s super friendly with other dogs and plays well with others. I usually take him on walks mornings, midday, and evening time and in the summer I only give him a walk in the evening because he’s a Husky and it gets too hot for him during the day. Evenings are best time for him. I try to take him to the dog park at least a couple times a week, so you can count on your pup having some one on one time with another pup and having LOTS of fun. I have walked dogs for family/family friends since I was 14. I’ve dog sat too and fed and bathe them. I am a stay at home mother of two beautiful children (3yrs, and 8months) and I take them along on walks too. They love dogs! I am available during the week at any time! I have 1 male Siberian Husky, he’s 3yrs old. He’s fixed and is up to date on all his shots, he’s also super friendly and plays well with any type of dog and any size.

About: I am a certified veterinary technician with an additional certification in massage and rehab therapy. I have been working in the animal care industry since 2012 and have worked with and trained dogs for a long as I can remember. I offer expert level care for medically complex cases and a fear free approach for anxious pets. I have experience working with anxious and aggressive dogs as well as competition trained dogs. Being crate trained is a must for overnight stays. I do have 1 large crate here but encourage you to bring your pet's crate from home if able. “She took such good care of my puppy, she was in constant communication and sent pictures almost daily. She super spoiled my baby and he had a blast the whole time! She even went above and beyond and took him to be groomed at her shop.”

“Gracie had an amazing stay with Joanne (& her family!) I enjoyed the communications and pictures during Gracie’s time in their home. Gracie enjoyed playtime with the kids and with the resident dog, Olivia. She had her kennel available, but enjoyed cuddles with their teenage son and quickly made herself a part of the family. I will certainly consider booking for future stays, and recommend Joanne to others!”
“Katy and DJ were "above and beyond" caretakers for our boy. They walked him daily, took him on car rides, and sent lots of photos of him playing. They were easy to communicate with, flexible when we had to make a pick-up time adjustment, and sent our boy home happy and tired. They live in a great space to host dogs and Nelson loved his time with their family pets. Highly recommend!”

“Kam was an answer to my prayers! There are just sometimes I have to be away where my dog, a toy Aussie, can’t go, but I always hated taking him to a kennel. Somehow I found Rover and that led me to Kam. After a meet and greet I knew this was good. Kam, her family and her pets welcomed Cosmo in and treated him like family. She sent pictures several times a day. This was perfect for me to be able to leave him without feeling bad. He had lots of fun there. So glad I found Rover and Kam! It feels good!”
