About: I’ve grown up around dogs and have taken care of them since I was young! I love them way more than people. I am counting down till I can have my own little pack of dogs. I’m used to dogs that pull on leashes, but it’s a plus when they’re an easy walker :) I currently am in college so whenever I don’t have classes I am completely free! Once a month for one weekend I work on a military base, but other than that I would love to spend my time with a pup! I am willing to do whatever to keep your dog’s routine normal. About: I have taken care of my black cat, Kitty for 4 years and my other two cats, Whiskers and Oreo for 2 years. Kitty always tells me when to back off and I do because they deserve personal space too. Whiskers and Oreo are quite affectionate, so I do my best in giving them all the pets they deserve. When I met one of my friend's cat, they were skittish of me since I was a new person to them. So I took my time with them by letting them approach me first and sniff my hand. I made sure not to give direct eye contact towards them since that will make them nervous. I also talked in a soft tone so my friend's cat doesn't get scared by me. It took a bit of time, but my friend's cat let me pet them, which I was very happy to do. It made me feel special. I believe I'm adaptable to how I should approach cats when I first meet them.

We have a 1 year old mixed breed dog that is very playful and happy around pretty much everyone. We met in a park near AJ’s home and he was promptly on time and communicated well. I asked several questions about the plan for the day and everything seemed reasonable to me. For me personally I just wanted someone that would keep my dog active and happy for the afternoon, also sneak in the occasional nap is okay too. When the day was over we met in the park again and (on time) and my dog was happy to see me. Thumbs up!”
About: At one time, we were breeders of Champion Golden Retrievers, and have raised many a pup, from small to large breeds. From Bernese to Yorkies, we love them all! Our furbabies are a Shorkie and Shih Tzu who are well behaved and make great hosts and playmates! Large pastures and trails on which to walk, so lots of exercise. Our canine guests will receive lots of love and attention! They will be welcome in our house if well-behaved, and treated like one of the family during their stay. About: I have always had pets in my home my whole life both dogs and cats I am more of a dog person but I absolutely love caring for all animals and I know how difficult it can be depending on the animal my parents most recent dog was a handful he was in and out of several homes before finding his way to ours because of he’s very energetic and sometimes violent behavior but we turned him to a sweetie with time and good training. At first he was rather aggressive towards me and was very difficult to train because of how long he had gone without training which taught me a lot of tricks to deal with a difficult and aggressive dog. About: Growing up with a variety of animals really gave me the compassion and love I have for animals now. Also, it gave me the skill I need to be able to take care of and provide for the different species of animals there are out there. Mostly, it was dogs and cats but I do have experience in caring for hamsters and bunnies. I love to go walking/hiking just to be outside and getting fresh air so i have no problem going on walks. About: I have taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 10. I have helped neighbors, friends, and family with their pets for short periods and long periods of time. I have my own 4 year old husky/akita mix who loves to play with other dogs and be in company with senior dogs who would prefer a long nap over play. I know how important it is to be able to trust your animals in the hands of somebody else and I’m hoping to be just that. I am currently working part time and will have open availability for weekends and weekdays. I will be taking a few classes once fall semester begins which will take a few hours out of my weekdays. I have a 2.5 acre unfenced yard, but offer two different types of monitored tethering or the option to take your dog to the bathroom on a leash. I have two dogs in my home one being my parents 13 year old lab and my own 4 year old husky. My dogs eat two times a day once in the morning and at night and take 3-5 bathroom breaks throughout the day as needed. Neither of my dogs are food aggressive or aggressive towards other dogs.

I used to have a dog that was a senior and improvised ways that I helped them with, like using one of the sofa cushions as a chair my dog could use to go on the bed. Another example was putting pills on a butter knife that had a dab of peanut butter in it and gave it to my senior dog. I'm good at listening to instructions and guidelines that you need for me to take care of your pets. I will also give them space when they tell me. I am unemployed, so I have plenty of time to take care of your dogs and/or cats! I will be available Sunday through Thursday unless something comes up in my life of course. I will make sure your doors and gates are locked. I'll do my best in following your schedule in taking care of your pets so they won't be stressed by any sudden changes. I'll make sure to ask any questions on how to take care of your dogs and cats so I won't make any needless mistakes. I will send you photos and text updates of your pets if anything happens and to let you know your pets are happy.

About: I have grown up with animals my whole life and expected to take care of them myself. I have been surrounded by animals + cats alike my entire life. I currently own two big dogs (Pitbull +Aussie) + one small dog (Shih Tzu) and a cat! I strive to ensure your pet has the best experience possible while you are away. Coming from a pet parent myself I know the fear of leaving your bestfriend in someone else’s care can be a lot. That’s why I believe it is important to keep you in the loop for a stress-free time away, while also giving your animal plenty of enrichment and love to distract their worried mind while you are gone. I am experienced with a wide range of different kinds of dogs. From reactive, friendly, and anxious I have seen it all. I am more then willing to work through quirks your animal has in order to make their experience the best it can be! Some training skills I am well-versed in is leash training, socialization, basic manners, puppy care, senior care, and separation anxiety issues. Let me know your preferred schedule and we can make it work! I am absolutely able to leave work (distance permitting) during my break to let your animal outside and let out some energy if needed! After work I am able to give your pet some exercise whether that is a walk or playing with some toys after work. For house-sitting/ drop ins- I am a firm believer that following a similar routine to what the owner (you) follows will give your pet the least stressful experience possible. I will stick to your potty schedule for your animal as well as feeding. As for exercise, I am up to whatever your dog or cat prefers! I can go for walks, play fetch, provide enrichment with feeding time or play with toys. I am always willing to go to nearby park with your pup if preferred! Whatever your pet loves and makes them feel the safest! For dog-walking, I am willing to walk however long your animal needs! Does your pet have a favorite route? Let me know and I will follow it! Any nearby trails or parks? I am always down to visit them with your pup if wanted! I have personal experience with leash-pulling and reactivity so as long as I am made aware of these things and have met your dog, I am more then willing to work through these things on our walk! I am big on taking my dogs and shelter dogs to parks or big areas to run or explore. If this is something you would be interested in, I could totally take your dog out for an hour to exercise them!

About: I love animals of all kinds! I’m a nurse looking to hang out with your pets on my days off. I have experience with every care need from early puppy socialization to end of life care. I haven’t met a dog yet I didn’t immediately become besties with, from the tiniest chihuahua to the biggest pittie or Dane. I will never turn a dog down because of their breed! I’m also happy to look after any other animals you might have, from reptiles to birds to horses. Just ask and we’ll make it work! They would be kept separate from my 4 cats for the first couple of days, but with discretion and communication I would be fine with introducing them if they were interested in each other. About: While living in Seattle I worked for Rover doing dog boarding in my own home, at times with up to five dogs at a time. Currently I am not available to do dog boarding in my own home however I would love to take your fur babies on a walk Only able to service the city limits of La Crosse, Onalaska, and La Cresent I would be more than happy to watch your animals at your home.
