She was very understanding it was my first time using Rover so I was unfamiliar with what appointments set up would be best for them. After the first hour check in she recommended for us to change it to 2 30 minute check ins per day so the boys would have 2 interactions per day. It was a good idea and I am thankful she was so nice to keep the price the same that it was originally! She took great pictures of them to show me they were ok (this was my first time being gone away from them so I was nervous since they are young) and left funny summaries of there interactions with her. About: I have helped care for animals since I was four-years-old. I have trained many dogs a variety of skills and tricks. I love getting outdoors with my two dogs and watching them play. About: Please read the entire profile. I did grow up with a Dalmatian dog. My dad was a firefighter, and came home with Pepper Christmas morning. My sister had a mini goldendoodle. I would stop daily after work around 3:45pm to play and take walks. I took a separation package from my employer 5/1/25 and now would like to offer walks, daycare, drop in visits and boarding . With boarding, For larger dogs, they WILL be crated at night. Your dog will be crated when I play pickleball in the mornings. I do have a crate(s). Please note if sending a request there may be a delay in responding due to pickleball between 9:30 - 12:30 approximate times. I currently have two dog walking appointments from 11:45am -1:45pm Monday-Thursday. Having retired 5/1/25, I have the time to provide loving care, playtime and walks with your pet. I will provide pictures and updates to you. No fence but can play fetch in the front/backyard or take your dog to dog park if they are ok with it. Please provide details or special needs. She was an anxious and high energy middle size dog who took daily medication and I wish I would have been able to take advantage of a service like this. I understand how hard it is to be a working household, and I would love to help. I also dog sit in my home for family and close friends, including dogs that need daily medication and am comfortable with that. I work from home with a flexible schedule and long lunch break and would love to be the trusted person to give your pet a mid day potty break, social visit, or walk. We currently own three cats one 12 year old lady, and two 2 year old brothers. When I was young I would walk the neighbor's dog just so I could get some dog time in. In college and after college I had several roommates who had dogs I lived with, who I would also help care for either just for fun or while they were gone. I have also taken care of friends dogs while they are out of town on vacation. I have experience with cats from 6 weeks old all the way up to end of life. My part-time schedule as a local kennel technician makes me incredibly flexible for pet sitting! I work from 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM (about 25 hours a week), which leaves my entire midday window from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM wide open for lunchtime walks, playtime, and companionship. I am also available for quick check-ins before my morning shift, and my evenings are completely free after 6:30 PM for late-night cuddles and dedicated overnight stays. I've spent almost every waking minute of my life around dogs (at home and at work), so I'd like to say I know them and how to read their body language very well. I was a kennel attendant and dog walker at a grooming and boarding facility (dogs, cats, etc.) for three years as well as a Pack Lead (manager) at a pet resort for over two years.
