Laura checked in regularly and shared funny photos of Jewel clearly living her best life! Laura and her family went above and beyond—they even set up a small plastic pool, which Jewel seemed to thoroughly enjoy, along with plenty of playtime and frolicking with the children. Their fenced-in yard and quiet neighborhood provided a safe and welcoming environment. When our return flight was unexpectedly canceled and we needed to stay an extra day in New York, Laura was incredibly accommodating and flexible. About: I have experience caring for animals of all kinds, though I can currently only offer in-my-home care to dogs. I have always had family pets growing up. I got my own dog when I was in high school. I currently own 2 well-mannered dogs, a hunting labrador and a scent detection pit-mix. I have more than 2 years of professional gun dog training experience, and have trained over 50 puppies/dogs. I currently work from home, so I will be able to accommodate any schedule your pet may need. My own dogs recieve 2 feedings per day (5am and 5pm). We often take a morning walk (typically no less than 1-2 miles, less if I am walking a young puppy or senior dog with mobility issues). Also evening walks if weather is appropriate. I do not allow my dogs to do strenuous activity or rough play right after a meal. The yard is not fenced, so dogs will be on leash or long-line and fully supervised when outside the home. For off-lead outdoor fun we will take trips to the local dog park (not a very heavily trafficed dog park, usually empty). I have experience providing oral and subcutaneous medication to pets, should your pet need medication while in my care.

About: Since I was little I have always loved animals, I feel that I have a unique connection with them. From 10 years old. In Ecuador, I was taking care of dogs. The neighbors have trusted me for the attention I gave their pets, for playing with them, etc. But since I arrived in the United States I have not been able to continue with that hobby. I took care of the dogs of the owner of the house where he lived for 6 years, giving him all the love, patience and daily attention he needed. I don't have much real experience with food, walking and bathing. I am reliable, friendly and treat everyone like a family. I currently live on 23 acres in the country and long walks and chasing balls packs in most of the day with my 4 dogs Jetta, Odie, Ruby and Rowley. All dogs are dog friendly and well mannered. Graduating puppy classes to canine good citizen classes, plus dabbling in agility and herding. All my pets are cat and dog friendly and have full freedom of the property. New comers are always on a 12 foot leash during playtime and walks, unless E-collar trained. When first meeting owners I go over your dogs recall manners and slowly introduce them to the pack on a long property walk. This helps incorporate pack leadership and expelling energy at the same time.

Being a CNA has strengthened my patience, attention to detail, and ability to stay calm and responsible in any situation which are qualities I bring to every pet I care for. I'm heading to the University of Minnesota Twin Cities this fall, and pet sitting is the perfect way for me to cover some schooling dues and spend time doing something I genuinely love. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, or simply having a calm and caring companion, I'll treat them like they're part of my own family. My goal is for you to feel confident knowing your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. I currently work part time as a CNA working second shift. So, I am always available until 2pm. But, catch me on a day I don’t work at the healthcare facility, and I’ll be free all day! Sometimes weekends can be hard, however I always find ways to make everything work out. As I live under my parents households still, I have two homes. One house has a large fenced in yard, with two friendly dogs that live there. The other home, has a large open field in the back, which unless the animal is off the leash trained, we have long leads for them to run free (ish). This home also has two even more friendly dogs who would love the company. Both of these homes are located in nice neighborhoods in the town of Plymouth.

About: I've cared for puppies and senior dogs alike. I've been taking care of dogs my entire life and I am familiar with all breeds. From Daschund to German Shepherd I have been with them all. I currently even own a very well trained Dachshund and shes almost 2 I'm available most everyday rain or shine. I am very attentive and capable of taking care of most any dog. About: I have experience caring for animals of all kinds, though I can currently only offer in-my-home care to dogs. I have always had family pets growing up. I got my own dog when I was in high school. I currently own 2 well-mannered dogs, a hunting labrador and a scent detection pit-mix. I have more than 2 years of professional gun dog training experience, and have trained over 50 puppies/dogs. I currently work from home, so I will be able to accommodate any schedule your pet may need. My own dogs recieve 2 feedings per day (5am and 5pm). We often take a morning walk (typically no less than 1-2 miles, less if I am walking a young puppy or senior dog with mobility issues). Also evening walks if weather is appropriate. I do not allow my dogs to do strenuous activity or rough play right after a meal. The yard is not fenced, so dogs will be on leash or long-line and fully supervised when outside the home. For off-lead outdoor fun we will take trips to the local dog park (not a very heavily trafficed dog park, usually empty). I have experience providing oral and subcutaneous medication to pets, should your pet need medication while in my care.

About: I’ve been a dog owner since 10 years old and have not gone without mans best friend since! I currently live on 23 acres in the country and long walks and chasing balls packs in most of the day with my 4 dogs Jetta, Odie, Ruby and Rowley. All dogs are dog friendly and well mannered. Graduating puppy classes to canine good citizen classes, plus dabbling in agility and herding. I currently work Weekends Friday-Sunday and my week is filled with lots of outdoor time on my hobbies farm. Lots of free time during the week helps me have fun with my animals and enjoy the sunshine. All my pets are cat and dog friendly and have full freedom of the property. New comers are always on a 12 foot leash during playtime and walks, unless E-collar trained. When first meeting owners I go over your dogs recall manners and slowly introduce them to the pack on a long property walk. This helps incorporate pack leadership and expelling energy at the same time.
