“I can’t say enough great things about how fantastic Rachel and her family were with our dog, Larry. He was there for 5 nights over the 4th of July Holiday and had the time of his life. Rachel was so good about sending lots of pictures that we really felt like we had a good idea of how much fun he was having. Rachel’s family welcomed Larry like he was one of their own and their 4 dogs did a good job of showing Larry how life on the farm works! They even took him hiking at the nearby Pattison state park and he played a lot of fetch in their meadow and swam in the stream on their property. I grew up on and around farms, so I have experience with pets ranging from dogs and cats, to goats and chickens, to lizards and guinea pigs and more. About: I've cared for a total of 8 kitties in my lifetime, from the daily feeding and litter scooping to claw trimming to intensive palliative care, and the 12 weeks of injections for Minky's FIP (she is totally healthy now!), and Poppy's twice daily epilepsy meds. I can handle any and all of it! Now I have 3 cats. Moki, my 16 yo boy, Minky, who's 3, and Poppy, the youngest at 2 years old. About: Living on a farm, I have a lot of experience interacting with animals of all kinds. Running a farm of any size is not a one person job so my family is a big part of my life. I can’t imagine a better place to live doing something I love. Pet care is an integral part of my daily routine. Whether it is feeding and watering our chickens and cows or grooming our dogs, I work hard to ensure our animals are cared for. I am a stay at home mom so your four legged friends will rarely be left alone. I work hard to follow any instructions owners may give me. Additionally, I make sure all animals in our care have access to food, water, and love. About: I have grown up with dogs all my life, ranging in breeds from dalmatians to terriers to labs to shepards. I am able to go for runs with active dogs or give company to the elderly ones. I have two dogs of my own: a 9 yr old lab mix and a 6 yr old German Shepard. I have had nothing but great experiences using Rover, and want to make sure others experience the same. About: I have two cats of my own. My tuxedo lu has been around since I was super little, I’ve carried her with me everywhere i go! My fluffy boy moo was a rescue a few years ago, he’s a big sweetie. I have a dog named ollie that I share custody of with my mom. he comes with me on all of the road trips and hikes. I’ve sat for family members and people in my area since I was 15. About: I have had dogs in my family for as long as I can remember - mutts, goldens, even a very talkative chihuahua - I loved them all! Friends call me to watch their pets often. I am comfortable with every breed of dog, and cats tend to snuggle me or judge me - I’m fine with either! I am currently working as a virtual assistant, with travel to help some clients on-site. I can easily make walks, feedings, day-care and over night stays fit into this schedule. I will take my lead from you and your pet. If it’s active and likes walks or to play, I am happy to do that. I always make sure that there is water in the bowl, and that feeding times are followed.
About: I have 6 years in animal care 2 years of that is working animal control for the city! I love caring for other pets and animals. I treat them as my own ! i work Thursday- Monday working animal control and then I come home and care of my personal pets. I’m constantly surrounding myself with animals as they are a big part of my life! I love other animals and treat them all as if they were mine. I have two fantastic dogs, a lab and a German Shepard lab! They are very nice dogs and love hanging out with other pets. I don’t typically do overnights as I work quite a bit. About: I’ve been pet sitting on and off since I was about 12 years old, helping out friends and neighbors. I come from a family of dog lovers and have two dogs and two cats of my own back home. I'm currently a graduate student at the University of Minnesota Duluth and really miss spending time with my own pets. Pet sitting is the perfect way for me to enjoy some quality time with dogs and cats while also earning a bit of extra income. I'm typically busy Tuesday through Thursday, but I have availability on Mondays, Fridays, and Sundays, with flexible scheduling on those days I do a great job reminding dogs just how loved they are usually by telling them they're a good dog every few seconds! I also understand how important safety is, and I make it a priority to regularly check in on them to ensure they’re safe and comfortable. Of course, I also give them plenty of pets and attention whenever I can.

“I can’t say enough great things about how fantastic Rachel and her family were with our dog, Larry. He was there for 5 nights over the 4th of July Holiday and had the time of his life. Rachel was so good about sending lots of pictures that we really felt like we had a good idea of how much fun he was having. Rachel’s family welcomed Larry like he was one of their own and their 4 dogs did a good job of showing Larry how life on the farm works! They even took him hiking at the nearby Pattison state park and he played a lot of fetch in their meadow and swam in the stream on their property. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants their dog to have a great adventure!!”
