“After interviewing multiple Rover sitter candidates for my senior beagle, Flash, I selected Anu and her family. Anu has a very nice house situated on a large lot, located in a quiet subdivision. Anu provided excellent communication via texts and pictures on how Flash was settling in like he was part of the family. Flash wasted no time in finding the sunny places to nap and even took over their own dog's bed at times. After a 10-day road trip, I returned, expecting an emotional reunion with Flash but he was nonchalant and that has never happened before. About: I have always had family pets growing up. I got my own dog when I was in high school. I currently own 2 well-mannered dogs, a hunting labrador and a scent detection pit-mix. I have more than 2 years of professional gun dog training experience, and have trained over 50 other puppies/dogs. I currently work from home, so I will be able to accommodate any schedule your pet may need. My own dogs recieve 2 feedings per day (5am and 5pm). We often take a morning walk (typically no less than 1-2 miles, less if I am walking a young puppy or senior dog with mobility issues). Also evening walks if weather is appropriate. I do not allow my dogs to do strenuous activity or rough play right after a meal. The yard is not fenced, so dogs will be on leash or long-line and fully supervised when outside the home. For off-lead outdoor fun we will take trips to the local dog park (not a very heavily utilized park, usually empty). I have experience providing oral and subcutaneous medication to pets, should your pet need medication while in my care.

About: I've taken care of animals of all different species and sizes throughout my life, I've always found a deeper connection with animals, and the more I care for them, the more I see that. For Dogs, I can get along with most, although I am admittedly spooked by bigger or more aggressive dogs (Cane Corso's for reference). And as for cat's, I'm always willing to take carr of another feline friend, my closest animal companions in life have been cats! I can respect a cats boundaries very well. Notes: For dogs with Clicker training, I do own a clicker. I cannot allow other cats in my home, as one of my cats is not friendly with others. I'm typically up very early to feed my cat and spend whatever free time I have giving him attention and love while I relax. I am currently unemployed, so I can tend to pets around the clock! My yard is not fenced, I can keep a dog close if need be. I am more than willing to take pets on walks to the park, or outdoors in general. I can adapt to most any animals schedule pretty easily. My house is pretty large, so most animals will have plenty of space to roam and get comfy, and I can make accommodations for any special pet gear needed. List of tasks or care instructions would be highly appreciated, and would help me stick to a given schedule.

About: My family and I had a dog of our own for about 13 years during my childhood, allowing me to gain experience in feeding, training, and walking dogs. Now that she has sadly passed away, I would love to give other pets the same love I am no longer able to give to my own pet. I currently work part-time and have plenty of time to smother your pets with my love! Late mornings and early afternoons are the times that typically work best for me, but I am flexible and willing to try anything! About: I have had a love for dogs my entire life! I was blessed to grow up with the sweetest Black Lab and my family welcomed a toy poodle to our family when I was 12. In the last couple of years, the family dogs have gone from 2 to 6 with the addition of my in-laws. About: Please read the entire profile. I did grow up with a Dalmatian dog. My dad was a firefighter, and came home with Pepper Christmas morning. My sister had a mini goldendoodle. I would stop daily after work around 3:45pm to play and take walks. I took a separation package from my employer 5/1/25 and now would like to offer walks, daycare, drop in visits and boarding . With boarding, For larger dogs, they WILL be crated at night. Your dog will be crated when I play pickleball in the mornings. I do have a crate(s). Please note if sending a request there may be a delay in responding due to pickleball between 9:30 - 12:30 approximate times. I currently have two dog walking appointments from 11:45am -2:00pm Monday-Thursday. Your pet will be in a kennel during this time. Having retired 5/1/25, I have the time to provide loving care, playtime and walks with your pet. I will provide pictures and updates to you. No fence but can play fetch in the front/backyard or take your dog to dog park if they are ok with it. Please provide details or special needs. About: My family and I had a dog of our own for about 13 years during my childhood, allowing me to gain experience in feeding, training, and walking dogs. Now that she has sadly passed away, I would love to give other pets the same love I am no longer able to give to my own pet. I currently work part-time and have plenty of time to smother your pets with my love! Late mornings and early afternoons are the times that typically work best for me, but I am flexible and willing to try anything! I will only allow pets that are fine being outside because my house does not allow pets indoors. I have a large yard surrounded by fields in a rural area where pets are free to roam in sight as long as they’re well-trained.

I have experience with senior dogs that require daily care (medications/baths/eye and ear cleaning) as well as animals still in training. If boarding at your home I’m also willing to help with gathering mail, watering plants and other small household needs. About: Over my 12 years of experience, I have pet sit all types of different animals for several neighbors, friends, and family members…including my aunt’s 9 cats. I currently am working part time as I am in college which my college schedule is now very flexible for the fall semester. About: I have had a love for dogs my entire life! I was blessed to grow up with the sweetest Black Lab and my family welcomed a toy poodle to our family when I was 12. In the last couple of years, the family dogs have gone from 2 to 6 with the addition of my in-laws. I am at my happiest when we are all in the same house, each of us with a dog on our lap or at our feet. I don't know what life is like without a dog in it! “After interviewing multiple Rover sitter candidates for my senior beagle, Flash, I selected Anu and her family. Anu has a very nice house situated on a large lot, located in a quiet subdivision. Anu provided excellent communication via texts and pictures on how Flash was settling in like he was part of the family. Flash wasted no time in finding the sunny places to nap and even took over their own dog's bed at times. After a 10-day road trip, I returned, expecting an emotional reunion with Flash but he was nonchalant and that has never happened before. About: I have always had family pets growing up. I got my own dog when I was in high school. I currently own 2 well-mannered dogs, a hunting labrador and a scent detection pit-mix. I have more than 2 years of professional gun dog training experience, and have trained over 50 other puppies/dogs. I currently work from home, so I will be able to accommodate any schedule your pet may need. My own dogs recieve 2 feedings per day (5am and 5pm). We often take a morning walk (typically no less than 1-2 miles, less if I am walking a young puppy or senior dog with mobility issues). Also evening walks if weather is appropriate. I do not allow my dogs to do strenuous activity or rough play right after a meal. The yard is not fenced, so dogs will be on leash or long-line and fully supervised when outside the home. For off-lead outdoor fun we will take trips to the local dog park (not a very heavily utilized park, usually empty). I have experience providing oral and subcutaneous medication to pets, should your pet need medication while in my care.
About: I have worked with numerous animals since I was 5 years old. I have owned chickens, rabbits, horses, dogs, and cats my entire life. I am a 4-H leader where I teach children how to train dogs and I help them show and prepare their animals at fair. I also show my own animals at the fair. We have a lake that is 5 minutes from our house and if your dog loves to swim, I would be happy to take them. I take my dogs all over in the summer and I would make sure your pet gets a lot of attention and exercise as well. Additionally, we have a huge barn and fenced in pasture as well as rabbit hutches in the barn and a chicken coop! Whatever animal you have they can be comfortable at my property. Additionally, if you feel better about your animal staying at home, I am happy to accommodate to that as well.

About: I've taken care of animals of all different species and sizes throughout my life, I've always found a deeper connection with animals, and the more I care for them, the more I see that. For Dogs, I can get along with most, although I am admittedly spooked by bigger or more aggressive dogs (Cane Corso's for reference). And as for cat's, I'm always willing to take carr of another feline friend, my closest animal companions in life have been cats! I can respect a cats boundaries very well. Notes: For dogs with Clicker training, I do own a clicker. I cannot allow other cats in my home, as one of my cats is not friendly with others. I'm typically up very early to feed my cat and spend whatever free time I have giving him attention and love while I relax. I am currently unemployed, so I can tend to pets around the clock! My yard is not fenced, I can keep a dog close if need be. I am more than willing to take pets on walks to the park, or outdoors in general. I can adapt to most any animals schedule pretty easily. My house is pretty large, so most animals will have plenty of space to roam and get comfy, and I can make accommodations for any special pet gear needed. List of tasks or care instructions would be highly appreciated, and would help me stick to a given schedule.
“For a recent week - long vacation, we left our 3 year old golden doodle with Jeff. This was our first time using Rover and leaving her in someone else's home. After an initial meet and greet, we felt very comfortable with Jeff and Ember loved his fenced in yard. We liked the photo and written updates we received while vacationing. Jeff provided daily walks and outside time. He respected Ember's schedule and tried to maintain her schedule. In addition to our toys and treats, he also provided some.
