About: My husband and I have been watching dogs in our home for over 10 years. Our busy lives of work and family have always held us back from owning our own dog. To satisfy our love for dogs we started watching our friends and families dogs and over the years thru word of mouth we have started getting phone calls asking if we would take on more dogs and then joined Rover. We have experience with small to large dogs, dogs with special dietary needs, dogs that need to be able to run, dogs that want to sit on your lap, to dogs that have medical needs. We believe that dogs should be treated as part of the family. We allow them to sit on furniture, sleep in bed etc.. Our jobs have afford us the ability to be able to adjust our schedules to be flexible and have the option to work from home when we have a dog staying with us. This allows us to be home with your dog to ensure they are getting plenty of play time, outside time and lots of attention. It is very rare that your dog will be home alone for a period of time. Our home is your dogs home... we give the dogs full access to the house. We are non smokers and do not have any pets of our own or small children. We walk the dogs twice a day and have an acre of land that dogs are free to roam, run and play -we like to play ball and tug a rope. We do provide a ground stake with a leash for those that like to run "free". We have ability to work from home and have very flexible schedules when needed. Which in turn allows us to very rarely leave your dog home alone We treat the dogs just as if they were our very own pet.. as part of the family. They have free range of the house .. on the furniture and beds.

I currently work from home, so I will be able to accommodate any schedule your pet may need. My own dogs recieve 2 feedings per day (5am and 5pm). We often take a morning walk (typically no less than 1-2 miles, less if I am walking a young puppy or senior dog with mobility issues). Also evening walks if weather is appropriate. I do not allow my dogs to do strenuous activity or rough play right after a meal. The yard is not fenced, so dogs will be on leash or long-line and fully supervised when outside the home. For off-lead outdoor fun we will take trips to the local dog park (not a very heavily trafficed dog park, usually empty). I have experience providing oral and subcutaneous medication to pets, should your pet need medication while in my care.

About: Since I was little I have always loved animals, I feel that I have a unique connection with them. From 10 years old. In Ecuador, I was taking care of dogs. The neighbors have trusted me for the attention I gave their pets, for playing with them, etc. But since I arrived in the United States I have not been able to continue with that hobby. I took care of the dogs of the owner of the house where he lived for 6 years, giving him all the love, patience and daily attention he needed. I don't have much real experience with food, walking and bathing. I am reliable, friendly and treat everyone like a family. We can also use FaceTime or Zoom to check in. 🐶🤩 At age 61, I’ve been a retired teacher for 3 years, and my activity level allows me to run or play with your beloved dog. In your home, I follow instructions and do the routine for your beloved just like you would. However, if I’m allowed to give more snuggles, or more walks, or more training than you normally have time for, I’m at your service.

About: I currently work at Hightest kennels part time. I’ve also fostered 14 dogs/puppies for Hightest kennels. I am very good at taking care of dogs at all ages. I also follow your instructions very well. I have taken care of puppies, dogs with disabilities and, senior dogs. I have potted trained many dogs and have been successful every time. I am very patient with animals. I am also going to school to become a veterinary assistant. I am currently working part-time at Hightest kennels I would be able to work after Hightest and on my days off. I usually work 2-3 days a week. I will fit pet care in whenever I am not at work. At my home I have two labs that love being around other animals. I have a fenced in area for my dogs to give them time outside. In a client’s home I want to know if your dog has a routine and keep your pet on their routine. I take my pets out many times a day if they are not in their fenced in area. I can also create my dogs if wanted.

I keep areas clean and make sure everything is secure before I leave a home. I also always send a "closing" message for overnight stays with details like mail collection etc!
