About: Growing up, my mom was the Eau Claire County Humane Officer, FEMA Animal Emergency Management volunteer coordinator, and general manager of the Chippewa County Humane Association. Throughout my childhood I helped care for thousands of dogs, cat, rabbits, and even a handful of lizards and snakes. I am well versed in animal behavior, safety, and empathy! We have a 3 year old animal friendly Australian Shepherd who we walk daily within our neighborhood, on the interurban trail (5 minute walk away) and run off lease on the beach when there's no one around! My 6 year old is very animal empathetic, and is always learning behavior and cues from our own Aussie. Having a high energy household, I understand the importance of plenty of time spent outside. We live in a large, upper, 2 bedroom apartment and can easily accommodate temporary space for one or two more pets (of the same family). We have a park with an open field for playing ball, and the interurban trail are both a short walk away. We have plenty of green space around our building for shorter potty breaks. Pups go outside at least once an hour unless they show that they need to go out more frequently. I truly enjoy spending time with animals, making sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and love. Whether it’s energetic walks, playtime, or simply giving a dog some extra affection, I treat every pup like my own. I’m also comfortable with feeding routines, basic training, and caring for senior dogs or puppies I’m currently working part-time, so I have plenty of flexibility to care for pets. I’m available for morning, afternoon, and evening walks throughout the week. I love being outdoors and can easily adjust my schedule to meet your dog’s needs I provide a safe and loving environment for every dog. Walks are always on a leash, and I pay close attention to their behavior and comfort. At home, I make sure pets have fresh water, a clean space, and plenty of attention. I can also follow any specific instructions you give to keep your dog’s routine consistent.
About: I am a recently separated military Veteran and pet lover who has owned both dogs and cats most of my life! I have experience dog and cat sitting for friends and family for pets of all ages and breeds, and I adore and treat your family members as if they were my own! Since I am a recently separated veteran, I am able to dedicated a good amount of time to this, leaving lots of time for your pets needs, and I am able to give them all the love and attention they deserve! I am able to come to your home to care for your pets (however I cannot stay full-time), allowing them to remain in a comfortable and safe environment, and you to feel secure knowing they are content and loved, in the place they are most familiar with.
About: I have done pet foster care for Dane County Humane Society for a number of years. I take in injured and healing dogs. Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I turned to them in times of need and they depend on me for companionship and guidance. I am currently semi retired and working 10 hours a week for a local TV station. My time is very flexible. I am going to be tied up for a few hours on Monday evening We have a large yard in the country and we have walking trails adjacent to our property. I have a 50 pound dog with hip dysplasia and a torn ACL she cannot do A whole lot at this time so I enjoy getting out and walking with other dogs. Our cat Luna recently passed away. She will be missed.
About: I currently care for my two dogs, Rosco and Merle. Also cared for animals on my dairy farm back home in Wisconsin. My family knows me as an animal lover and I can promise you, your pet will be in good hands with me. I currently work part time and my hours are very flexible. I work for Instacart so I choose my own hours. I am also available most weekends! I have a fenced in backyard that is an acre. I have two friendly dogs that love to play with all dogs no matter the breed, gender, or size.

Yolanda's patience, kindness, and experience brought me relief knowing that my dog was in great hands. She did everything possible to calm my anxiety-ridden fur baby and made him comfortable; kept me updated and was responsive; sent me photos; and was very easy/flexible to work with. By the end of the week, Gizmo was playing with other dogs and taking long walks twice a day, which he never does! He's been home for almost 24 hours and I can tell he misses Yolanda, but mostly, he's been sleeping like a baby. LOL. I couldn't thank Yolanda and her family enough. I finally found someone who was willing to take in my dog and refused to give up on him even when times were hard. I highly recommend her services! I've found my FOREVER dog sitter :) Thank you again Yolanda!!”
