“What can I say? Melissa was amazing. Needed a sitter for our Weimaraner at the last minute. Needed to leave town for family reasons. Called the usual suspects. They gave me the dog and pony show. No pun. Ridiculous what you got to go through to board your dog these days. A few of my friends and customers recommended Rover. I went on there and checked it out. In about 30 minutes from first seeing it, to signing up, I had already booked Melissa to watch our dog Kaiser. I arranged to bring him over, and she couldn't have been any more sweet. I can really tell that she loves animals. Very cool chick too. Our dog was in good hands the couple days he was there. When we got him back, he was well rested, and had none of the anxiety boarding can bring on. Guards come down. A little trick I learned from working at the Vet Clinic that hasn’t let me down yet. I can keep them separate from one another also if you wish/request. Though my dog is a fixed/spayed female. I have a split level 4 bedroom house that allows a lot of space in the two living room areas in case your pet prefers their own space to eat/protective. I live 8 min from the Shawano dog park and less than 5 min from the dog beach.

Each extended stay (2-3 weeks each) included caring for dogs and keeping their routine (feeding/watering, cleaning up after, daily walks, play time & grooming), and maintaining the household (water plants/garbage pickup/mail collection, etc.) for 3 months. Some needed medication, in which I'm comfortable with (instructions required) and some had minor behavioral issues, but all manageable. About: I’m a life long lover of all animals, who has turned my passion into a full-time career. My experience spans from dogs, cats, small animals (e.g. ferrets), reptiles, small farm animals and horses. Before adding my services to Rover I have house sat at barns, taking care of multiple types of different animals in addition to watching the house for 7+ days. I've grown up with dogs my whole life leading me to participate in multiple puppy classes from vet centers and certified training facilities from a young age. Naturally, this had then led me to work professionally with dogs of all sizes, ages, breeds, and needs while getting comfortable with different harnesses and collars. I understand the importance of honoring body language for non-verbal communication, being conscious of meals + medication and how to maneuver in/out of doors/gates without escapes. My top priority is making sure the health, safety and comfortability of all animals is met to the highest standard. I do have reliable transportation for any emergencies as well and stress that I will not leave your pet until the situation is fully handled. As a calm, level headed and experienced individual, I strive to provide your animal with compassionate care through reliability, consistency, transparency, safety, dedication, and being detail orientated. I have a flexible schedule due to being self employed. My career is focused around feeding horses and training which leaves me with room to attend to the care for other clients animals. When it comes to taking care of someone else's animal, I believe a discussion about what is expected (e.g. feeding times) is vital to quality care first. In addition to meeting all basic needs, I will love the animal as if they were my own!
About: I’ve had my own pets since I was little. I’ve had hamsters, goldfish, frogs, bunnies, hamsters and a dog. I also have a few years experience with taking care of my grandmas cats. I have my own online business so I am very flexible with my schedule! & I can work around your pets schedule and needs 😊 Again I will be able to adjust my work schedule to your pets schedule. About: Hello my name is Kylee. I have grown up with dogs my entire life. My family owned a dog daycare for several years that I took every opportunity to go there.. I have experienced in pet sitting. My biggest emphasis while pet sitting is keeping the pet parent daily informed with updates and pictures. I have an appreciation for pets with special needs meaning health related things, because my dogs has a strict diet that needs to be followed I am currently working as an activity director at an assisted living. My hours are 7:45 to 4:15 Monday- Friday. Once every month I do work weekends. I have a fenced in yard that has recently been put in. My dogs are extremely friendly with all types of dogs and cats. I am 100% open to staying at your place if you would prefer that instead.
About: I've had dogs my entire life they've always been more like siblings to me than pets. Right now I have an Australian Shepherd and a German Shepard, I love them very much but now that I've moved out of my parents house I don't see them every single day and im missing some pet love!! I am a caregiver to the elderly and disabled as well but love giving care to any and all in need!! Very easy to work with. “For a recent week - long vacation, we left our 3 year old golden doodle with Jeff. This was our first time using Rover and leaving her in someone else's home. After an initial meet and greet, we felt very comfortable with Jeff and Ember loved his fenced in yard. We liked the photo and written updates we received while vacationing. Jeff provided daily walks and outside time. He respected Ember's schedule and tried to maintain her schedule. In addition to our toys and treats, he also provided some. “What can I say? Melissa was amazing. Needed a sitter for our Weimaraner at the last minute. Needed to leave town for family reasons. Called the usual suspects. They gave me the dog and pony show. No pun. Ridiculous what you got to go through to board your dog these days. A few of my friends and customers recommended Rover. I went on there and checked it out. In about 30 minutes from first seeing it, to signing up, I had already booked Melissa to watch our dog Kaiser. I arranged to bring him over, and she couldn't have been any more sweet. I can really tell that she loves animals. Very cool chick too. Our dog was in good hands the couple days he was there. When we got him back, he was well rested, and had none of the anxiety boarding can bring on. It's great to know I have someone that I can rely on if we leave town for any reason to watch after our pooch. I couldn't recommend her anymore. Thank you!”

“We loved working with Kimberly. She watched our dog for the first time and suggested a meet and greet to make sure she was a good fit with her own dog. We loved that and it made us trust her from the start. When we met her, Kimberly asked us many questions about our dog that made us feel like she would take very good care of her. Also, Kimberly’s home is quite literally the perfect set up for dogs. We know that our dog loved staying there and we enjoyed the updates Kimberly sent us throughout her stay.
